The entire system is a sick joke.
And why 4 to 6 hours to get "processed out"? As soon as the judge approved the "not him" determination from the prosecution, he should be immediately decuffed and be free either to leave immediately or to voluntarily return to the jail (as a free man) to retrieve his belongings before going home.

They KNOW he's the wrong guy, and it'll still take 4-6 hours, while he's standing in front of them in cuffs. Take the cuffs off, release him immediately. Do your paperwork without him there.
LAWSUIT
"TAKE THESE CUFFS OFF!!!!"
They know he was wrongly arrested. Why is he still in cuffs?
Because the court proceeding wasn't finished. He is still in custody. People in custody wear handcuffs. What are you struggling with?

Where is his apology?? It's 'unfortunate', isnt the same as saying.....im sorry!!! Show some common decency, judge!!!!
Did the judge arrest him? Why should the judge apologise for the arresting officers? SHOW SOME COMMON SENSE.

Hope he sues and get some money for this BS
Someone needs to get sued over this and or lose their job.
Where’s his money for being illegally arrested, jailed, and detained?
Man, if I was him, I'd be furious. You don't get to deny me freedom and liberty because you're too lazy to investigate beyond a matching name and DoB.
POC in public spaces dont have the privilege to be emotional or they might be seen as dangerous to white people
shoot i'd be changing my name that same day XD

what a joke. The judge can't so much as offer him an apology on behalf of the system that denied him freedom under false pretenses.
