I have to say, you deserve major props for your next-level reaction videos. The effort that you've put into this video is honestly unmatched. No disrespect to other channels, but this is like the difference between a Super Bowl performance, versus open-mic night at the local coffee shop.
he dropped Killshot on the anniversary of Patrick Swayze death, which he references. Killshot is a movie released in 2008. The main characters name was Colson (same name as MGK). Colson gets shot and killed in the movie.
When "Not Alike" came out MGK posted a video of himself popping champagne celebrating the moment. That's why in "Killshot" Eminem says "yea bitch, pop champagne to this". That's about all I felt you missed. Great video.
He also missed when MGK tried down playing Killshot bars because he talked about his man bun. All after MGK opened up Rap Devil talking about Em’s beard lol
@@Seananigans.1 bro, mgk had the hair for a movie roll but we just gonna ignore eminem dying his hair blonde for years? The beard comment goes over so many heads it went from a mild bar to pretty good I guess. What did em look like when he first rolled out? Baggy clothes and looking like he hadn't hit puberty, little fat face and no facial hair and even said if he got old and boring he would put down the pen. The beard comment was to say, look bro you are nothing like when you started, you've sold out and washed up and look like a weird old man trying to pretend he isn't old, if you're gonna dress like a 15 year old black kid then maybe shave so you don't look weird hence weird beard it was never meant to be a heavy hitting bar but I just don't understand why everyone focuses on it You gonna act like Em's freestyle about Trump was cringe as fuck "awfully hot coffee pot" like wtf is that but nope, in all the Stan's eyes, every word out of em's mouth is shaped like his cock and they gobble it as fast as they can and then say "please sir, may I have some...more"

So I'm not only one on that level of MGK doing that, not just in song but interview's before first song after Em's low-key line in kamikaze track that lead to rap devil track
No one on RUclips broke it down like this. No one else has gone through the history of the tweets or interviews leading up to the diss tracks. Epic video my guy!
Best breakdown, up there with Knox Hill, but I disagree with part where you say that kill shot is too complicated, in the battle rap scene, you have to prove you technically superior to your rival and Em being from that scene, I think he will always go back to that so he treated it like a pure battle mode "destroy MGK" if you hear Kuniva talk about how Em dissed him, her says that he blanked out because it was so technically superior and the wordplay was so dope
can we stop with this cringe "without even trying" "didn't get out of first gear" shit? Seriously, how are you fucks able to take a clear Em W and make it cringey as fuck? On every mention of the dude? Derp derp he wasn't even trying either Stop@@MagpieMusicYT
I know this is a 6 month old video but i wanted to comment he's saying "pop champagne to this" bcuz theres video footage of MGK popping champagne after he was dissed on his kamikaze album. This was so well done and put together! 👏 ❤ absolutely love your reactions.
You said Eminem didn't address the "Trick, trick/bitch, bitch" line, but it is literally the FIRST thing said on the track. He basically treated that line, the "yellin' at the mic" line, and the "weird beard" line as throw-away's. He clowned the living shit out of all three of them within the first 8 seconds of the track, while also throwing in "when your fans become your haters" to counter the "idols/rivals" bit.
Are you aware "your beard's weird" was actually MGK clowning old Eminem lyrics? MGK is definitely more of a fan of MNM than anyone who has listened to these disses because no one seems to know, "your beard's weird" was MNM dissing Benzino who was the co-founder of "the source" hip hop magazine. IIRC this is around ja rule, last mention I remember is in "toy soldiers"
I'd give the punchlines to Eminem solely based on the Diddy line. Even if a lot of people didn't get the more obscure punches, that line anyone with a brain's jaw dropped lol. Ain't mad tho.
Let's also not forget Em purposely used corny lines to match MGks lines and even mentioned using corny lines until the part about "had to give you a career to destroy it", the turning part of the diss track. He even did this with much better rhyme writing and better schemes and ability. A lot of reactors do not understand the Diddy line fully, which is disappointing. Em should have won every category he used except replay value, as Em's dis track is a diss track and not a pop song. Crypt does a much better scoring.
@@aaronscoasters One thing I didn’t know was that Biggie was going to leave Bad Boy Records. It’s too bad that Pac thought it was Biggie who was involved because of the bad timing of “Who Shot ya?” coming out. At least he didn’t die thinking it was Biggie though. So many Artists are gone that were under Honey Combs. There are definitely things he is going to ultimately have to answer for though. It all started when the Security Guard shot an associate at the Nightclub in Atlanta. I have to disagree on replay value though, I’ve only listened to Rap Devil a couple times, where as Killshot is on my Em Playlist.
Just the level of MGK’s entitlement is astounding. Also the champagne line by Eminem was also in reference to the fact that there was a video of MGK popping a bottle of champagne after hearing he was mentioned on Not Alike.
My issue with rap devil was that the bars/disses were very gradeschoolish. While eminem did his typical learn to understand diss and legit killed MGK. Not saying MGK not talented. He is a good artist just he lost to Eminem severely bad in this battle.
@@joshuasimmons6443 actually no he didn't EM never really denied black balling MGK and EM never denied him calling up people asking for MGK to apologize
All of Eminem's lyrics are school grade level if you really listen to this lyrics they're not good at all he just makes him sound good he tries to anyways but the beats and stuff but his lyrics are really lame they're Kitty and they like what I've used to make up and I was in 7th grade I mean he says to MGK you're like a machine gun without bullets now is that stupid or what it's like saying oh you're like a house and no Foundation oh you're like a car with no motor it's ridiculous MGK Styles way better it's way more intricate better form words it's just it's just better Eminem is a lame ass mother f***** washed up the only thing he could do was be the fastest rapper
"pop champagne to this" line also refers to a video that was trending on the internet when eminem released Kamikaze album and MGK heard his diss on "Not Alike". The video was MGK listening to the diss on blast, being all happy and excited, also popping champagne to the song lol.
Eminem's lyrics are in a completely different league from MGK's. No comparison, and he doesn't need autotune, a music video, or even much of a beat for it to be good. I also like how Eminem called him a satanist. MGK just wants fame.
And yet I can't shake the feeling this was all a marketing stunt orchestrated by Eminem to bounce back from a career low point. The entire theme of Kamikaze was "my last album is so bad I need a quick easy W to save my career."
@@mariokarter13 I feel like if that was the point, then he could've chosen someone more well-recognized then MGK, while MGK did certainly have fans I'm pretty sure that most people who listened to Not Alike weren't even aware that MGK had beef with Em, even if they knew MGK as an artist.
@@mariokarter13 Honestly, I have a sneaky suspicion that MGK entered into this beef knowing he would lose, as bad rep is still rep, which helped his career grow by a substantial amount. And Em took on more influencial rappers in his next album...
Yes..yes he got dres attention when a colleague ( forget who) gave Dre his mixtape adter em came in second in the rap Olympics. Em had already made and produced his 1st album infinite on his own at that point as well.
As of today: Killshot has the record for 38M views within 24 hours Killshot views: 376M Rap Devil: 240M Gona go ahead and say the replay value category should go to Em, since what you said is true: numbers don’t lie. Also, great, great recap!!!
Eminem has more fans that's going to back up and support him no matter what kind of garbage he put out. Doesn't matter how bad it is they will say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. So those numbers are no surprise
I would like to see something like an Eminem v. Tech N9ne but midwest choppers don't play like that. The whole point of eminems drop was just to acknowledge it .. I mean what do you say to the dude whose biggest achievement is dating Megan Fox
Just came across and absolutely LOVED it! The breakdown and all. One thing, that i noticed which stuck out to me. Maybe I am wrong with this. But the line Em said “Die, mother-fer”. Was the same tone that he said it in the song “Go to Sleep”. Which is an old song with DMX many might not know about. But the title of movie it was in was called “Cradle 2 the Grave” So with ONLY those TWO words, one line. Em is saying what you just did. That video was the Cradle that will lead you to your Grave. So now its time for you MGK to go to sleep B’tch. Die MF Die. Time up. Close your eyes. Which are the rest of lyrics to that part of the song.
em's punchlines were so good, just complex like you said but if you're able to digest his style it is actually insane how good they are. Also, MGK's repetitiveness is so corny to me, and the autotune was so awk. thas jus me tho. anyways em on top always
MGK has good bars but Em's are deadly. I think that is why MGK has more comercial value is just basic pushlines and jokes ( that are decent, that's why Em answered) but there is no comparison in quality. My opinion tho :)
Plus jadakiss used to be in the loxs. So the nothings changed but the locks line is in refrance to the fact Jada used to be part of them too. One of the most underrated verses in rap!!
Just that one line is so underrated I got 9 meanings from it. 1. locks as in keys 2. loxs of hair (Em going from blonde to brown) 3. Lox the rap group 4. jade is mgks daughters name 5. Hailey jade is Ems daughters name 6. jadakiss is another rapper 7. Ems giving mgk or his daughter the kiss of death 8. jadakiss has a song “kiss of death” 9. Jadakiss is apart of the rap group the lox tying it all together. However you break it down Ems a fucking genius!
11:00 always been a thing I thought as well, mainly because “Rap Devil” (at the very least most of the song) was written long before “Not alike” went live. It was obvious which was why in his “disillusion of grandeur” he started popping bottles. Also the fact that he completely rolled over and let Eminem not only walk all over him but let Eminem evict him from the genre rather then release this “amazing” second diss. He had the opportunity of a life time and had the world in his hands and instead of grasping the moment, he diligently wiped his ass with it then proceeded to paint his nails and wear cute princess earrings.
The thing is, he didn’t get kicked out of the genre like you no brained say. He made rock/punk music before he and mgk went at it. He is also doing rap again. You should see both sides of the story because em had an amazing diss and mgk had a good diss too. He’s the only one who actually got anywhere with it to.
Great breakdown. The line in Em's verse about calling interscope he would be Swayze is so hard and lots of people just miss it or skim over. Em saying that if he actually called Interscope MGK would be a Ghost bc Swayze played in the movie Ghost. Em is super creative and you have to digest every line bc something is always hidden.
A lot of people also missed another meaning from the Swayze line. Em put killshot out on September 14. Patrick Swayze died on September 14. That def wasn't a coincidence. Em is absurdly talented.
“Let me win” is the most telling statement. You will never catch Eminem asking anyone to “let” him win. He doesn’t need permission. He doesn’t need anyone else to step back. He just steps TF up. And MGK, while out of one side of his mouth, is saying Eminem is irrelevant/washed up/has nothing more to say, when out the other side, Em is in his way, ergo, the dominant voice.
@@mariokarter13 Choice of targets? Eminem used to go after who ever targeted him and made waves. @@mariokarter13 I kinda agree, especially when he continues to throw Ja and cannabis's names out as his biggest achievement.... it's like yeah ...cool.....that was YEARS ago and Ja, while being super popular at his time, wasn't exactly a lyrical spitter, cannabis was good, but still by now it's not that big. Even at that, I never liked ja, but his "em you said your mother's a crackhead and Kim is a known slut, so what Haley gon' be when she grows up?" Was actually not too shabby from someone of Ja's low caliber, em had a few lines, but mainly left it to D12 and 50, so even then....he wasn't the real take down of Ja, in a sense, it was 50.

One thing I have to tell you…… MGK did date Halsey, but the thing is, Halsey ditched him and she decided to go with G easy. There for, I think that was a pretty good dis. 👍🏾
Ahh you missed the whole champagne line by Em. He said that because MGK had made a video of himself popping a bottle of champagne in like a sneak diss to Em.
Wow!!! I love how you laid that out. I have watched more reactions to these tracks more times than I even want to admit 😂 Totally had my attention through the whole video 😊👍 nicely done
I feel like MGK may have got the two wins for replayability and punchlines in this judgement because he had way more time than Em to polish his track. While he responded 4 days after Not Alike with Rap Devil, who's to say he didn't spend the prior 6 years trying to write his bars, as opposed to Em who did so much more in less than 10 days.
it's only a double edged sword for those too simple minded to not catch it. If these were judged by professionals then Em would win, hands down, no contest. Listen to syllables by em to further drive home this point.@@zombine555

@@FlawdTV True, but its something that should be mentioned when MGK says that Eminem calls himself a “rap god,” when Eminem hasn’t said that. Just a tad little detail lol
Eminem has definitely called himself a rap god. In the song rap god, no. But since then, at least once in the song never gon learn for sure, but I feel like there’s been more as well.
This is probably the best recap of the whole beef. I lowkey feel bad for MGK because he got chewed up and spat out…but I appreciate tf out of him for the valiant attempt. Made for great entertainment, reminded me of the good ole days when rappers had REAL issues with each other. Not a MGK fan, but not a MGK hater. Props to him for coming in swinging as hard as he did. Em is just the superior rapper tho…which is all we as listeners care about.
The only people that think eminem won this battle are suburban kids. Eminem makes cringey bars that he tries so hard to have some sort of metaphor or simile attached to it that it's so corny. It's all about taste and preference as to why the majority of the hip hop community chose mgk as the winner in the beef. Only suburban kids on the internet think eminem won
@@rhodesben10 *LONG REPLY INCOMING* It depends on the type of hip hop head you’re talking to. The ones that are casual, surface level listener’s will probably agree with you. The ones that are used to listening to lyrical rappers (MF DOOM, Nas, Tech 9,...I could honestly go on but I’m gonna stop there) will say that this wasn’t an actual battle, as Eminem’s pen is on a level that can’t be easily matched. Like I said…I’m not a MGK hater. I actually think that his diss is the best that we’ve seen since Canibus. It was original, it was authentic, and it was catchy. But rap has always been more than surface level easy listening…especially when it comes to diss tracks. “Corny” is subjective, so I won’t comment on that. Think whatever you want…but I’ll put money on it that you won’t take into consideration the ultimate deciding factor when it comes to this entire beef…and that’s NUMBERS. Oh yes…the one category that people refuse to talk about when it doesn’t support the narrative that they want to push 😂. Did you know that Eminem’s Killshot broke a record for the most views on RUclips upon its release? In terms of the commercial success of the the feud…Em shitted all over MGK. Not an opinion, but a fact. MGK’s Rap Devil gave him a buzz yes. So much of a buzz that Eminem himself had to respond to MGK due to how much people were impressed by MGK’s diss. But let’s talk about WHY Eminem won this battle (if we want to call it that…it looked more like a spanking to REAL hip hop heads). *LYRICS* MGK wasted a lot of time by adding a bridge and hook. While it appealed to casual listeners, it was time that could’ve been spent taking more jabs at Em. Speaking of jabs…the only jabs that stood out in rap devil is that Em is old (so what…), and that his earlier albums are better (…better than anything MGK ever has or ever will release…that much is for certain) *ORGINS of BEEF* Idk about you…but I’m not gonna be caught dead defending someone that is attracted to minors 🤷♂️ that’s just me though. MGK is not on the right side of history here as he was a 22 year old man expressing his attraction to a 17 year old girl. It doesn’t matter how you want to look at it…that is NOT okay, and there is no defending it. That’s one of reasons why I couldn’t take this “beef” seriously. That R Kelly bar in Not Alike hit harder than anything MGK said in Rap Devil. Gonna be honest for a second here…I can’t take certain “hip hop fans” seriously nowadays. Yall were all over MGK’s junk when he dropped Rap Devil…but I can’t get a straight answer out of any of yall when I ask what y’all’s favorite song off of the Binge EP was…😆😆😆. My guess is that most y’all didn’t even listen to it. I did…and again…I’m not even a MGK fan. The EP was a disappointment to say the least. To say the most, the EP SUCKED. Trash. Garbage. Not to be spoken of or mentioned ever again. I’m just not tryna hear it. This ”hip hop community” that you’re referring to are nothing more than trend followers and couldn’t care less about rap as a musical art form. Let’s talk about flows, punchlines, lyrical density, wordplay, and FACTS and then we can have a real discussion about the victor of this whole debacle. MGK…as much as I liked his diss…is in Eminem’s shadow…like he said in Killshot. A shadow that he is actively running away from…which is why he’s no longer a rapper 🤣
Best part is MGK said fake interview because he did it with sway. But breakfast club is owned by Diddy lol. The irony. Also take a look at why the song is called killshot. Its crazy haha
Just wanted to point out a lyric issue with that killshot lyric video. The video says, "Supplying smoke, got the firest dope." The line actually goes "Supplying smoke, got the fire stoked." As in, stoking a fire, to give it air, causing it to burn more, and thus causing more smoke. Noticed the issue when I watched that same video lol.
You made me wanna do reactions. Most the time when seen them its people who dont know history and its simplistic. You actually do breakdowns that explain it to people the way i would. Only thing i would have added is the not alike verse and the pop champagne line was because mgk actually dropped video of him popping bottle to not alike. Like you said that he probably had it on his shelf for 6yrs waiting for a mention in any way
The Trick Trick bar from MGK is not that significant if you know the story of no-fly zone, So when Eminem said "better hope I don't call Trick Trick, b**ch this sh*t don't fly in our city". Which clearly has two meanings like pretty much everything else he ever says!
@@jessicarichter6436 It's Hollywood EM is guilty of it Elvis Presley is guilty of it Paul walker was in a relationship at 33 with a 16 year old all because modern laws are passing age of consent to be 16 and some states are trying to go lower

Bro, this is the best take on the situation that I have seen and you are 100% right. People would have had more respect for MGK if his ego didnt get in the way and just publicly apologized.
Also, when he says “die motherfucker like the last motherfucker saying Halie in vain” it’s a throwback to Eminem / DMX song featured in Jet Lee’s movie. Please react to it. I ain’t gonna eat, I ain’t gonna sleep, I ain’t gonna breathe till I see what I wanna see…
Also Killshot from '08 is about copuple named Colson. MGK is named Richard Colson Baker but apparently he is often called Colson, guy ends up shot in the movie. And Swayze lines are also so cool cause you can say that becoming swayze is just disappearing like in the movie Ghost but also song was realised on the anniversary od Swayze death, we should also not forget that MGK talked about himself as ghost, and ofc there was this rapper Swayze who put out like one good song. MASTERPICE
it's actually a little depressing i had to scroll down in the comments before someone finally pointed this out. Was starting to think I was the only one that noticed. TY for saying what I was about to.
I really appreciate this breakdown. You had a very fair reasons for both sides. I guess I’m considered a Stan because to me Em is the goat with bars and creativity but I love lil Wayne too. I know MGK came with it but I’m a huge rap fan. This is prob the reason Kelly switched genres. For real tho. Keep up dude. I appreciate this channel!🎉
Important to note, the release date of Killshot was a bar in and of itself and tied into an actual bar in the diss, “I say one call to Interscope and you’re Swayze,” this is a reference to Patrick Swayze’s death which he released the track on the anniversary of his death, September 14th (2009). Also, there was a video Eminem posted of him playing Ms. Pac-Man which many have interpreted to be Target as a, “coming for your throat,” since MGK has a Pac-Man tattoo on his neck.
I love your reactions man they are dope keep doin it!!! I will say tho a lot people didn’t like the Killshot beat but for me personally when it comes to Eminem… he raps so well to the point where he becomes damn near the beat and then I can just tune out the beat because of how well he’s rapping. In reality it’s still there and playing but subconsciously it’s not because of what he saying and how well he’s doing it.
@@FlawdTV I agree with you, I’m not saying, I always tune out the beat. @@optimisticgnomerz I agree 1000% Im not disputing that at all😂😂 I am a huge Eminem fan. I have always supported him no matter what. Enjoyed this video . Very informative for these youngsters that don’t know all the back history and connections their bars had like u mentioned. Great breakdown !
And MGK rly had a video where he popped champagne after he heard Not Alike when Kamikaze dropped. Its good thing to mention aswell, he was kinda happy that he heard his name on eminem album.
Thank you for this. I have two daughters and I have no doubt MJK feels absolutely the same way that he should have apologized. He didn’t. You called it out. I might be from Michigan but I’m not skewed as I think Em is probably an asshole but MGK is far far worse. Not skewed, just telling the truth and thank you for calling him out.
Bro, I love your videos. This one is awesome because you broke it all down. I love how you went detective mode to find all this to make this awesome video. Keep it up my dude I appreciate it 💯
Amazing video. You should do more rap beefs with this kind of break down. For me, I would have had Em down for 4-1. I preferred Em's punch lines. MGK did have a couple good bars and he had some decent cadence in small sections of the track.
in my opinion the "pop Champaign to this " bar also refers to the video of MGK celebrating with a Champaign in the bathroom playing not alike in the background after eminem name drops him in the song....its about half a minute long clip
Everyone else took the words right off my keyboard. Best breakdown yet. 👌 FYI for those that don't know... Diss tracks really shouldn't or don't need to have much replay value. They're exactly that, diss tracks. Not records meant to sell. Lyricism is KEY. Also, what rapper in their right mind goes after a rapper that's been in the game since the early 90s and literally got his start from battle rap?? That's his comfort zone, he loves it! The fact that he probably didn't even have to put much effort into this and still raps circles around MGK says it all. If you interviewed eminem and asked him, he'd probably say it was fun to write this shit. It's like his hobby 🤣 Anyway, fantastic break down.
Also the “pop Champaign to this” is in reference to when kamikaze dropped mgk was in a hotel room listening to not alike and popped a bottle of champaign.
Two things I've noticed: 29:17 He left hickeys on Rihanna's neck -> kissing her neck -> complimenting her neck. "compliment me on the next" sounds like "compliment me on the neck" which is a funny way to say that MGK loves Em. 36:40 "I'll give you a B for the effort" sounds like "I'll give you beef for the effort", so he's basically saying he'll reply just because MGK came for him, not because it's good or he felt threatened.
I think the important thing to know is that MGK was commenting on an under age Hailey. Knowing what Em has done to rappers in the past for Putting her name out there he got what was coming to him. Now he is just a transgender used to be rapper
This is so cool, I love this style of breakdown. Two rules, don't touch America's boats, don't talk about em's daughter's. Breaking either rule will get you blown away.
So smart and objective of you, actually. Stans would put the punchlines on Eminem, because they have “Eminem ears.” The punchlines hit because they’ve listened to Eminem for years so they could immediately digest the doubles, lyrical acrobatics, etc. Thank you for your hard work, your honor. 😂
@@FlawdTV no yeah, I knew you understood. I meant you deliberated on it from the perspective of people who don’t necessarily have Eminem ears, so that’s why I said that was very objective of you. I’m just saying if a Stan would deliberate on it, the punchlines category would go to Em cause it would hit harder for them. 😃
stan or no, the punchlines should go to Em because they are simply better. So yall telling me that Em should lose out on that one because he was too good? I get that there are several instances where too much of a good thing isn't a good thing but I don't feel like this is or should be one of those times. I mean if they were in a ring throwing punches it don't matter if the fans understood how hard the hit was or the guy on the receiving end understood how hard the hit was, it's still going to be face to canvas for MGK. One thing i think you skipped, that em even said is that it was just a shot over the bow, letting him know hey dont fuck with this. in other words he held back on purpose and still made something that is arguably slightly better than mgk's best effort. In other words, em wiped his ass and still had something better on paper than however long MGK took to set up his little diss.
If you've ever seen the sandels resort commercial it ends with sandels sitting under a palm tree in the shade so that bar had wayyyy more layers then people realized

Em just set it straight to the point. Didn't need much to teach the kiddos that experience will rule. Em was right MGK was wrong. Using someone to be noticed in your own mind should tell you and everyone else about you. Work with your own grind not off of someone else's coat tail. He's good, and time will only make you better.
Talking about replay value, i just checked the views for each diss and Emimen's Killshot shows it has more replay value than MGK's Rap Devil. And that's only an audio, mgks was a video
the "pop champagne to this" line was in reference to a video of MGK in a bathroom literally popping champagne in celebration after he dropped rap devil. Which to me also signifies this was all planned in my opinion. Great breakdown! Fairly new to your channel, but definitely a fan!
If it comes out in a few years that this entire beef was a marketing stunt by Eminem to pull him out of the career low point that was Revival I wouldn't be surprised.
You should breakdown the nail in the coffin ⚰️ diss. I've always wanted to know the backstory on that. This was a super well put together video. Thanks man!
There's a whole lot more to break down. You have to include ja rule..you have to include a dude getting shot at a recording studio...dudes getting stabbed outside a recording studio....that shit would be a docuseries like the old BEEF videos narrated by Ving rhames

No one ever gets this one and it's so disappointing.
There's a relationship between the two backing beats too, they share some sort of origin that I don't remember.
Nah this is total overkill on the subliminals. Nobody needs to do that kinda research for a diss record
@@SamYoungRadio it's all unspoken. So, I wouldn't define that as a reach.
Not to mention saying “One Call to Interscope and you’re Swazy” which is Ghost. A character that Patrick Swazy played
@@Seananigans.1 bro, mgk had the hair for a movie roll
but we just gonna ignore eminem dying his hair blonde for years?
The beard comment goes over so many heads it went from a mild bar to pretty good I guess.
What did em look like when he first rolled out?
Baggy clothes and looking like he hadn't hit puberty, little fat face and no facial hair and even said if he got old and boring he would put down the pen.
The beard comment was to say, look bro you are nothing like when you started, you've sold out and washed up and look like a weird old man trying to pretend he isn't old, if you're gonna dress like a 15 year old black kid then maybe shave so you don't look weird
hence weird beard
it was never meant to be a heavy hitting bar but I just don't understand why everyone focuses on it
You gonna act like Em's freestyle about Trump was cringe as fuck
"awfully hot coffee pot" like wtf is that
but nope, in all the Stan's eyes, every word out of em's mouth is shaped like his cock and they gobble it as fast as they can and then say "please sir, may I have some...more"
Also MGK loved Halsey and got so mad when G-Eazy got her.
The Rhianna line too.
Haha, exactly! I was about to say the same thing. He explained it right. But I don’t think he knew that video existed.

Em held back to make it even more obvious just how superior he is🤣

You said Eminem didn't address the "Trick, trick/bitch, bitch" line, but it is literally the FIRST thing said on the track. He basically treated that line, the "yellin' at the mic" line, and the "weird beard" line as throw-away's. He clowned the living shit out of all three of them within the first 8 seconds of the track, while also throwing in "when your fans become your haters" to counter the "idols/rivals" bit.
Em didn't clown anything. lol. just copy and pasted.
@@timjames3191mocking those lines is clowning silly 😂
@@timjames3191He did mock him obviously but you're right. It is basically a copy and paste
The weird beard line wasn't from a Benzino diss. It's from Em's song "Business".
I'd give the punchlines to Eminem solely based on the Diddy line. Even if a lot of people didn't get the more obscure punches, that line anyone with a brain's jaw dropped lol. Ain't mad tho.
💯 that line caught everyone off guard.

Just the level of MGK’s entitlement is astounding.
Also the champagne line by Eminem was also in reference to the fact that there was a video of MGK popping a bottle of champagne after hearing he was mentioned on Not Alike.
Soo well stated bruh.
My issue with rap devil was that the bars/disses were very gradeschoolish. While eminem did his typical learn to understand diss and legit killed MGK. Not saying MGK not talented. He is a good artist just he lost to Eminem severely bad in this battle.

Said a Satanist tho

And yet I can't shake the feeling this was all a marketing stunt orchestrated by Eminem to bounce back from a career low point. The entire theme of Kamikaze was "my last album is so bad I need a quick easy W to save my career."

Eminem has more fans that's going to back up and support him no matter what kind of garbage he put out. Doesn't matter how bad it is they will say it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. So those numbers are no surprise

One thing, that i noticed which stuck out to me. Maybe I am wrong with this.
But the line Em said “Die, mother-fer”.
Was the same tone that he said it in the song “Go to Sleep”. Which is an old song with DMX many might not know about.
But the title of movie it was in was called “Cradle 2 the Grave”
So with ONLY those TWO words, one line.
Em is saying what you just did. That video was the Cradle that will lead you to your Grave. So now its time for you MGK to go to sleep B’tch. Die MF Die. Time up. Close your eyes.
Which are the rest of lyrics to that part of the song.
Not to mention Eminem’s daughter was 16 at the time 😐
The Benzino diss track.

em's punchlines were so good, just complex like you said but if you're able to digest his style it is actually insane how good they are.
Yeah, MGK absolutely DID NOT have better punchlines. Not even close.
that Jade a kiss/Jadakiss line is so deep. Nothing changed by the locks (door locks, The Lox, hair locks - his hair color, used to blonde - now brown)

@@gando7474 jada is still in the LOX
That's clever wordplay there. That bar went ever most people heads, that's why they will say MGK won lol
Just that one line is so underrated I got 9 meanings from it.
1. locks as in keys
2. loxs of hair (Em going from blonde to brown)
3. Lox the rap group
4. jade is mgks daughters name
5. Hailey jade is Ems daughters name
6. jadakiss is another rapper
7. Ems giving mgk or his daughter the kiss of death
8. jadakiss has a song “kiss of death”
9. Jadakiss is apart of the rap group the lox tying it all together.
However you break it down Ems a fucking genius!

Knox hill is the best when it comes to breakdowns
Knox Hills was far better.
It wasn't flawed he did a great job
11:00 always been a thing I thought as well, mainly because “Rap Devil” (at the very least most of the song) was written long before “Not alike” went live. It was obvious which was why in his “disillusion of grandeur” he started popping bottles. Also the fact that he completely rolled over and let Eminem not only walk all over him but let Eminem evict him from the genre rather then release this “amazing” second diss. He had the opportunity of a life time and had the world in his hands and instead of grasping the moment, he diligently wiped his ass with it then proceeded to paint his nails and wear cute princess earrings.
Yeah about that 😬😬
@@David-zd6jj elaborate
The thing is, he didn’t get kicked out of the genre like you no brained say. He made rock/punk music before he and mgk went at it. He is also doing rap again. You should see both sides of the story because em had an amazing diss and mgk had a good diss too. He’s the only one who actually got anywhere with it to.
My new favorite channel to watch on RUclips! The creativity is 💯🙌🏼!
Eminem rebuttaled everything and drop a line that totally made MGK look like a spectator. Em's just clever like that, right Diddy?
Great breakdown. The line in Em's verse about calling interscope he would be Swayze is so hard and lots of people just miss it or skim over. Em saying that if he actually called Interscope MGK would be a Ghost bc Swayze played in the movie Ghost. Em is super creative and you have to digest every line bc something is always hidden.
Also because swayze himself is dead
Yeah it's in part because of the movie "Ghost" but definitely also because Patrick Swayze is in fact dead.
At 1:45 ish. He was saying he was scared to listen to it because he was worried it would suck and stain is reputation.
As far as rap beefs go, Eminem is a walking L factory purely based on choice of targets.
Nas goes after Jay-Z. Eminem goes after Moby and MGK.
@@mariokarter13 Choice of targets? Eminem used to go after who ever targeted him and made waves. *LONG REPLY INCOMING*
It depends on the type of hip hop head you’re talking to.
*LYRICS*
MGK wasted a lot of time by adding a bridge and hook. While it appealed to casual listeners, it was time that could’ve been spent taking more jabs at Em. Speaking of jabs…the only jabs that stood out in rap devil is that Em is old (so what…), and that his earlier albums are better (…better than anything MGK ever has or ever will release…that much is for certain)
*ORGINS of BEEF*
Idk about you…but I’m not gonna be caught dead defending someone that is attracted to minors 🤷♂️ that’s just me though.

MASTERPICE
Only thing I didn’t care for MGK’s diss is that a true diss doesn’t have a hook. Maybe I’m just to old and think Old school is better
Or a Video. Though Hit em up did have a vid.. but traditionally they don’t like no Vaseline.
it's actually a little depressing i had to scroll down in the comments before someone finally pointed this out.
I was just going to say the same thing lol
Wow your natural hair is CRAZY! so white, i never noticed before ❤
I love your reactions man they are dope keep doin it!!!
You shouldn’t have to tune out a beat though. Eminem has used some fire beats in the past and they make the songs that much better.
@@FlawdTV I agree with you, I’m not saying, I always tune out the beat. What I’m saying is he does wraps so well that sometimes you don’t even need to be for him because he becomes the beat And add something to the beat. but yes, he has many Fire Beats he’s rapped on before, I’ll never discredit that
Raps so well* and need a beat for him*
@@tylereades999 Em can make any beat his bitch, lol ✌️🤣
@@optimisticgnomerz I agree 1000% Im not disputing that at all😂😂 I am a huge Eminem fan. I have always supported him no matter what. I’m just saying Eminem is so dope that He doesn’t even need a beat to show how dope he is. And when he is on a beach, he becomes that beat and more. he makes the beat better in my opinion.
This is dope! Would love to see you do this for all the best beefs over the years.
Just you wait!!!!!
The sheer hubris of Drake trying to go against Pusha T, then quietly sweeping it under the rug.
Wow! You broke dis shit down perfectly! Yes Em won by a longshot it wasn’t even close👏🏽👏🏽✍🏽🐐🎯💯
Enjoyed this video . Very informative for these youngsters that don’t know all the back history and connections their bars had like u mentioned. Great breakdown !
Yo this is one of the best break down i have seen hope u do more
And MGK rly had a video where he popped champagne after he heard Not Alike when Kamikaze dropped. Its good thing to mention aswell, he was kinda happy that he heard his name on eminem album.
Ii could be wr to ng but Ii is thought mgk popped champagne in rap devil too
@@yongmoon69 no, it was after he heard kamikaze, after that was rap devil
Thank you for this. I have two daughters and I have no doubt MJK feels absolutely the same way that he should have apologized. He didn’t. You called it out. I might be from Michigan but I’m not skewed as I think Em is probably an asshole but MGK is far far worse. Not skewed, just telling the truth and thank you for calling him out.
Bro, I love your videos. This one is awesome because you broke it all down. I love how you went detective mode to find all this to make this awesome video. Keep it up my dude I appreciate it 💯
A lot of contents, interesting contents, very smart move from you, very happy there's a creator like u
Flawed. Thank you for showing your real hair. I appreciate.
Amazing video. You should do more rap beefs with this kind of break down. For me, I would have had Em down for 4-1. I preferred Em's punch lines. MGK did have a couple good bars and he had some decent cadence in small sections of the track.
I really thought it was trash especially knowing how much time he spent on it. The clown did a whole video.
in my opinion the "pop Champaign to this " bar also refers to the video of MGK celebrating with a Champaign in the bathroom playing not alike in the background after eminem name drops him in the song....its about half a minute long clip
It's like his hobby 🤣
Anyway, fantastic break down.
Beautiful break down bro❤😂.
Hey you looked great on the outfit 👍👍👍👍
“This is not a wig”
Never doubted it for a second. 😂
😂😂😂
Cool doooo!!!
This made me chuckle...
Also the “pop Champaign to this” is in reference to when kamikaze dropped mgk was in a hotel room listening to not alike and popped a bottle of champaign.
I was surprised he didn't know that one.
This is so much better than I expected it to be. Well done.
Eminem’s “Not Alike” verse still fucks me up. 😅
Nice job ! No one did it like that before, with the full context and the material.
No
@@OnceUponReddit very insightful.
Love how thorough and honest with your videos. Just got a new sub here. Keep it up
I think the important thing to know is that MGK was commenting on an under age Hailey.
I understood the doubles. I just think MGK had more easily digestible punches in general
😂😂😂😂😂😂
stan or no, the punchlines should go to Em because they are simply better. Night night, sleepy time@@cbtowers4841
Totally!
I respect that take. Though I don't agree on replay value being an aspect for disstracks. Nice video man!
Flawd killed it like always and Em is the 🐐
Drox knows!!!
I was so invested in this back when it was developing. This is by far the best video on RUclips surrounding this battle.
You’re different Flawd 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Excellent break down my guy. It’s definitely easier to understand the depth behind em through your videos. Great job dude
If you've ever seen the sandels resort commercial it ends with sandels sitting under a palm tree in the shade so that bar had wayyyy more layers then people realized
We have to admit rap devil was a song not a diss track that’s why it has replay value
bullshit a lot of ppl have killshot in the playlist
@@ricozegers yea like me
@@ricozegers I’m sayin the reason people think it has more replay value because rap devil is a song and killshot is a diss track
@@ricozegers I have it hhah
@@chikushodiz91 only ppl that just listen to the beat say that
I dont care about kids not liatening to the lyrics and singing along with a catchy hook
Em murdered him with every fucking bar
Yeah, straight fire video had to give you props. I don't comment on much stuff but definitely enjoyed that one
This was awesome bro!! Sorry it took so long for me to see it
Never seen this beef broke down like this...and I agree with everything single word you said Flawd 🎯 This vid is 🔥 Great Job 👏 👏 👏
Looking forward to more Judge Flawed!
Absolutely the best beef breakdown I’ve seen by far, and I watch literally every reactor. I’m thoroughly impressed.
This breakdown was like a toddler explaining why he shit his pants. Missed everything except the most basic of bars and completely misunderstood 90% of the bars he broke down.
Not much to say other than this is done so well and as fair as possible. Absolutely amazing video
As a Stan, I find your verdict very honest and agreeable. Well done on not being biased
Love how you executed this breakdown
I find it weird how MGK was saying he dresses better than eminem while never wearing a shirt.
the "pop champagne to this" line was in reference to a video of MGK in a bathroom literally popping champagne in celebration after he dropped rap devil. Which to me also signifies this was all planned in my opinion. Great breakdown! Fairly new to your channel, but definitely a fan!
MGK pop the champagne when he listen Not Alike
Like mazinger said, not alike dropped and MGK celebrated being dissed which is so weird.
I stand corrected, thank you, but in my opinion still shows it was all planned
If it comes out in a few years that this entire beef was a marketing stunt by Eminem to pull him out of the career low point that was Revival I wouldn't be surprised.
@@mariokarter13 career low point.......MGK sparked this off..what the fuck are you talking about.
You should breakdown the nail in the coffin ⚰️ diss. I've always wanted to know the backstory on that. This was a super well put together video. Thanks man!
There's a whole lot more to break down. You have to include ja rule..you have to include a dude getting shot at a recording studio...dudes getting stabbed outside a recording studio....that shit would be a docuseries like the old BEEF videos narrated by Ving rhames
check out diverse mentality
he’s got a breakdown of allllll the beefs
