It's true, but it all depends on how you like it. However, I prefer 9 inches with a black frame and rotary volume knob. A review for this model will come in the future ;)

The 9 inch is much cheaper, probably because it is the same tablet they use for all cars (just change the frame).
But I really like the original buttons, not the small buttons that come with the unit.

Hi Adrian , I have been using Pioneer in my cars for many years. Because I don’t like sound quality with factory fitted stereos. Same in my Peugeot 308 single din pioneer. Planning to go with double din either pioneer or android you just showed us. Pioneer comes with multiple equaliser settings eg super bass+bass boost+loudness and many more to feel high bass. Does this shown in video got any setting like that? Thanks for your answer.
Hi Adrian, recently I have bought same radio as you show in this video, your tutorial to install it was very helpful, thank you for that :). Unfortunatelly I have one problem with it - the FM radio plays only left speakers. All the other apps, CDs, youtube etc. plays from all the speakers but when I turn the fm radio original app, the sound comes only from left side. Maybe you can help me how to fix it? I haven't tried CarPlay on this unit, however if you want to be sure it works you will need an adapter like this, it looks like WiFi will work:

The size of the unit seems to fit in the 308 console in the middle after cutting the plastic walls as you show in your videos

I agree, he could make some complete review for this, like showing all settings, themes, backgrounds, if music has album cover picture (when playing with bluetooth,usb..), what looks like it has when you are exploring your playlist, if you can move between your playlist with right round button by rotating it (like you can on skoda/vw cars), driving with it at night- if display can shut down so it doesnt disturb you at night (but at the same time can play music), etc..showing some interesting things and ideas etc.

Now my time is very limited and I do not know when I can do the review, however the unit works very well and I'm happy with it.
About cruise control, there are many models on Aliexpress at incredible prices, physically can be easily mounted on the machine unfortunately on most Peugeot cars the manufacturer has blocked the possibility of software activating this option. In the future I will try to do a Cruise Control retrofit at the Peugeot 307 and see if it can be activated.

I think you've changed the radio on your 308 since this video, but maybe you still have an idea:
I have the exact same radio here (distributed by RealMedia Germany), and the radio app only works in 1 out of 3 attempts. Sometimes, when I start the car, I can only hear static noise, then the next moment when I start it up, the radio plays fine. It's not a problem with the antenna: I can pull out the Fakra connector and just use the short antenna adapter behind the radio, sometimes I already have great reception with the adapter, and sometimes it's just static, so it must be the radio. was yours always fine with radio reception?
And for my Android FM radio the reception is weaker than the original RD4 radio, however it is constant. I think it could be a problem with your Android radio receiver because it doesn't work constantly.
Anyway I prefer to use online radio (TuneIN) and the audio quality is much better.
@@AdrianDragan Thanks for your feedback. Yes, it's weird, I need to investigate further, maybe a software issue (wrong initialisation or something). But I might check the DAB option in case I don't get further (DAB+ is quite trending here in Germany).

It seems like the signal of some radio station are not being strong enough for the Idoing.
When I replace with my old radio the signal seems strong enough.

This unit works very well, I like the way it looks, the quality screen is great and have good sound. It is compatible with the steering wheel controls and the on-board display computer. Anyway, see my video :)

1) Does I support music playing from an android mobile using bluetooth? If so how?
2) My old orange/black display continue to display AUDIO VOCAL og AMBIENCE. How do I enter setting and select one or the other?

1. Yes, it supports music via Bluetooth from your Android phone. Open the A2DP application in your multimedia drive and then play any audio from your phone via Bluetooth.

Hi Adrian. I have the same CANBUS decoder rcz 01 with another android car radio but there isn't the apk to setup body computer clock. How can i solve the problem? I think it not depends by the canbus interface, matbe there is an app that send the right code simulating analog buttons. Is it possible to export apk from your car stereo?

Hi. What if i dont install the microphone of the radio. The car itself already has an micophone built in, does this work with that radio or do i have to install the external microphone? Hello. The original microphone of the car will not work with this Android navigation, but the Android unit has an integrated microphone and will use that one. If you install the GPS antenna in the glove box, the GPS signal will be weaker, so I recommend installing it on the dashboard. You can try and see how good the signal will be if you put the antenna in that box.

@@AdrianDragan I did buy the same Radio. How much taxes did you pay in your country. And did you use the offer of idoing to pay prepaid tax for duty free shipping. idoing said me that would cost extra 35 usd, but can i trust them?
I talked to them to send me an invoice with up to 100 usd and to write on the package the same value, so I paid about 20 usd taxes + DHL 40usd commission. At the next order I will choose free taxes from them.
The external microphone is better, but the internal one also works.

Nefunctionalitatea pilotului automat poate fi cauzata de mai multe defecte: contact pedala frana defect, contact pedala ambreiaj defect, etc. Cel mai bine ar fi sa faci o diagnoza electronica intr-un service pentru a vedea ce anume cauzeaza aceasta problema.

@@AdrianDragan ya lo solucione, tuve que sacar la radio y abrir la pantalla y desconectar los cables blancos uno ancho y uno delgado que van de la caja de la radio a la pantalla y volver a conectar y se soluciono 💪💪😅😅😅

Sunetul este la aceeasi calitate cu unitatea originala. In ceea ce priveste functiile totul merge asa cum trebuie, nu am lucruri de reprosat.

@@AdrianDraganDecodorul Canbus este negru. Referitor la difuzor, acesta nu are. Am cautat si pe net, nu am gasit nimic referitor la aceasta anomalie. Multumeac.
@@sovietiku De obicei acel mic difuzor este folosit pentru a emite sunetele de la sistemul de parcare, dar acel difuzor functioneaza numai cu decodor canbus de la SimpleSoft. Totusi intreaba despre aceasta problema vanzatorul de la care ai cumparat unitatea.

La mine functioneaza fara probleme. Stii sa-mi spui ce scrie pe decodorul Canbus (Rise, Simple Soft)? Ma gandesc ca poate nu este setat corect in meniul "Factory Settings".
Este posibil sa fie datorita faptului ca masina are xenon, de fabrica bluetooth si head cornering plus ca la mine displayul de sus este albastru acolo imi arata senzori de parcare si toate informatiile cum ar fi use deschisa automatic light on sau off, etc este posibil sa fie asta o problema ?
