I agree with the idea of The Minecraft Movie having legendary Minecraft RUclipsrs as central characters (DanTDM, PopularMMOs, GamingWithJen, StampyLongNose, CaptainSparklez, etc). That would've been worth the price of admission alone.
Having folks like Stampy in the film would have drawn more eyes to the film then Jack Black of all people. I'm aware that he has no involvement in the film, but not only is he more majorly affiliated with Minecraft but he's also gains much more of a younger audience.
Jack Black has gotten quite cocky from all the fans putting him on a pedestal. I hope he doesn't go see the movie since it's "for kids" - there's certainly no reason for him to see it himself. Unless he hits the ego and says he saw it just to see his performance XD

I don't think that's going to be the case, since having several updates each year means that there is going to be more variety of features every year (since Minecraft updates are usually themed, so having yearly updates meant that only one part of the game was overhauled each year). The mob vote created a lot of toxicity in the Minecraft community (also, it was a little redundant, considering Minecraft Feedback already exists), although I think it was a good idea. The only thing that looks like it's going to be bad is the Minecraft movie.

I mean, if a camera crew is not doing their job you will need to redo a shot, if the actor nailed it and the camera crew ruined it, then the actor has every right to be pissed, because the camera crew at a minimum should not be a reason for a retake

The Chinese community plays a very different version of Minecraft and is developed by a different studio separate from Mojang but stays in communication. Minecraft China Edition has its own unique mobs. Also love Hermitcraft as well. I hope the movie goes well, like Mojang wanted it to be live action since 2014 yet everyone seems to completely forget that was the direction they wanted to go. Mojang wanted to go the live action route long before even the Sonic movie was announced, it was just development hell with constant changing of directors and script writers. As for Jason Momoa, it could have been a bad day for him its hard to know, people are human after all and they do say never meet your heroes for they may not be how you perceive them to be, as for Jack Black he is likely just very passionate for the Movie to go well but is seeing nothing but the hate which no one wants to really see.
During minecraft live, they usually show off non-english streamers/content creators so they most likely will have some in the movie as a short cameo since Mojang seems pretty aware of them

Let’s be honest, everything minecraft besides minecraft Java and bedrock is trash. And even the game is a complete mess with most players on bedrock which is unstable
Bedrock isn't the version that has more than half of its features being bugs . Moreover Minecraft dungeons were really successful, the reason it stopped development is due to the fact it's supposed to be a "develop and that's it" game, but they decided to update it because they wanted to implement more ideas. Minecraft story mode was also successful, there wasn't a third instalment because telltale games got bankrupt . The only unsuccessful games were Minecraft earth due to COVID and Minecraft legends for being unable to keep a playerbase.
