What an amazing building, especially the spiral staircase. The sinister atmosphere is enhanced by the cold harsh white l e d lighting. Thanks Stve and Andrea, great stuff!
WOW, this was eerie, and fascinating. It was modern, in some respects, for its time. That must have been fascinating to walk through. I'm surprised they have left those time sensitive' items just strew around. Thanks so much, Andrea and Steven. An interesting place to visit, but I wouldn't want to *live there.I 👏🏻👏🏻
Great photography and video! Looked like an interesting place to visit! Last week's comment disappeared pretty quick after posting it and I'm guessing RUclips didn't like the affirmative confirmation on the pup chewing solution. 🙂
Excellent! Really like the new intro and outro. Y'all are doing quite well on your videography. We certainly appreciate all your effort. And, Andrea - a Vintage Soul! You surely don't have the patina the misses and I have. Keep going you 5' 3-1/2" (and that half inch is quite important) wonder! Steven, try to keep up! Thanks again for an informative, interesting PIN! Bon Voyage!
Yee-Haa! Lock em up and throw away the key. That ghost picture had what appeared to be two horns on its head. Yowzer! Can you imagine it following you home. Then taking possession of you. Old Steve laying there one night and Andreas head does a 360 when he asks what time it is? Then the spiders start crawling out from under everything. So many that they crunch under your feet. Soon there's a puddle of slip and slide....😂😊be safe. Y'all are cool.😊 Another tale from the crypt. Ahahah 😮
@4:50, That looks like a Post-World War II metal Youngstown cabinet with a kitchen sink built in. These were a common prefabricated form of cabinet back in the day.
One would think that those fragile papers they found in the walls would get a little bit better protection/preservation than just let them get touched and handled by people and youtubers? 'De Ridder' is dutch (translated: 'The Knight')
@@pixelpeter3883 actually Peter that top floor is out of bounds for visitors and RUclipsrs. We were fortunate enough to have been granted full access. Plus they are looking into a way to preserve them.
Hello Steve and Andrea this is one of the spookiest places with lots of ?? Was watching Steve go up the spiral stairs and a small beam of light followed him then went away then reappeared when he goes into the doorway it could be from the camera lens but? And the dumbwaiter shows it goes up to the other floors but see no door to off load may be blocked off for safety but i'am sure there must be a basement as well .And you talk about the Ghost of the jailer but more ? Any way my list goes on about this jail but you had me on the edge of the couch .Thank you for a very intriguing explorer and maybe 👻more ?Take care till next week 🎩😟
Maybe 12 odd yrs ago, I'd load crude oil just south of I-40 north of Cromwell, Oklahoma. The place was a oil boom town where Bill Tilghman (last of the old lawmen) was gunned down in 1924 at age 70. After I loaded, I'd sometimes stop at a C-store for a drink or snack before heading to Texas. There was an old, weird house right next to the store with a balcony. The whole area gave off weird vibes, I thought. One day, I was talking with the pumpers who told me the woods surrounding the well was a tent city during the boom in the very early '20's. But they also explained that in another building in town, there was a photo of that house with prostitutes hanging over the balcony railing displaying their "wares" (wink! wink! 😅). It had been the brothel. 😅 Funny how that didn't surprise me at all, given the vibe and history. 😊 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Tilghman

Actually they were started in the 1930s (Google).

Pretty interesting. TV is a B&W from the 1950's. It could be the two prisoners might have been buried in the bayou in unmarked graves. Maybe.
@@waynebender8835 they do have graves but I think one is unmarked
Not a fan of the AI voice at the end. I've always loved your channel because you both do the actual voicing.
Thanks for the feedback. Trying something new just for the end credits. Mix it up a bit.
