Got one on my 09 Mustang Gt. It rolls. Got 44k miles on mine. (Mint) Running Kooks Long Tube Headers and Kooks Catted H-Pipe. I went back to stock mufflers, was running Borla Atak. It was very loud and attracted attention of the police a lot.
Intercooler and smaller pulley is a big upgrade from this kit. I ran this exact kit for a summer and upgrading it to intercooled/smaller pulley was a HUGE difference in power.
Is it ok to run it with no intercooler , I don’t drive the car when it extremely hot outside , mostly at night when it’s cooler , and plus added weight with intercooler isn’t that a negative , or if I buy this kit should I get it with the intercooler right off the bat?
@@totljag1 Just get the intercooler right off the bat. It was a big waste of time and money for me not running an intercooler the first time around. The power difference is HUGE especially with the proper 93 octane custom tune and going from 8 to 10 psi.
THANK YOU! 3V WEDNESDAY!!! I am a huge fan of the 3v... probably because I own one. Lol. Love Coyotes, too. That's an awesome set-up to make your 3v come to life. I'd say this to the owner...get the Detroit Rockers & long tube Headers you will absolutely love those mods! Thanks for the video Brent.
You can download affirm and get approved and put in what you want to spend here and it will provide you a credit card number you just give us and we charge that card number. People do it all the time.
I have the same kit with Vortech, 47lb injectors, Boost a pump, Detroit Rocker cams, Water methanol injection, JBA shorties with a high flow catted X-pipe, stock intake and TB. Best pull so far on a hot July day was 448 rwhp and 409 tq during a dyno tune (SAE) on a land & sea dyno which looks identical to your dyno jet. The guy who tunes my car has an amazing reputation for tuning 3v mustangs with years of experience but I honestly think, with my mods, I should be closer to 500 rwhp. However I noticed you always do your pulls to 6500 rpm +, and my tuner barely goes past 6k. On the pull mentioned above, max HP was at 6150 rpm and max torque was at 5300 rpm. Do you think the lower RPM pull is the issue for low numbers? I know different dynos will read differently. Great video and please keep the 3v vids coming.
Land and Sea is not a dynojet as well as only going to 6k kills your "number". Watch this video link it explains about that ruclips.net/video/IklrZe20_Ao/видео.html
Putting a new CenterForce clutch in my 05 in the morning new clutch flywheel pilot bearing throw out bearing 800 HP rating should really make it hookup with the procharger 😊
Brenspeed, do you know if it could fit the Mishimoto 3-row radiator that you guys sell on your website with this throwback package? The cai tubing seems to almost rub with fan. Thanks
Yes we make it fit. We pull the radiator as far forward as possible and drill new holes for the radiator bracket. Then we trim a little plastic off the fan. So it is possible we do it all the time.
I feel the air to air is less restrictive than the liquid cooled on this set up. Also the air to air is behind the bumper and not cramming up the engine compartment. Both cool well though in the end.
So what is the best route to take if i want to make more power on my 3v? i have a 2.3 whipple and 3.25 inch pulley. i really don't want to swap a coyote or buy a new power adder. bummed that ford stopped making the 5.3 boss short block as that seems like the simplest way to go although probably not the cheapest. I like my car, i like the solid rear axle. I don't want to make it louder.
Best mods to a stock boosted car are cams like the Detroit Rocker and a set of Pypes or Kooks LT headers. Then after that point you are looking at engines so you can increase boost for more power.
great video. man your hat is way cleaner than mine .. this kit is perfect for the daily that you just want a little more umph with .. no drivability issues and zero loss of reliability very happy with my kit.. do you recall what the iat was at?
Yah I have to get a new hat like every month or two they get smoked at work. IAT prob was 100F in that pull maybe 120F. Reading after supercharger in the intake manifold.
I have an '05 GT 5sp with 72k miles... have JBA shorty headers on there along with JLT intake and PYPES over axel exhaust all with a BAMA tune. Would love to do that SC on mine. Shoot me a DM so we can discuss more thank you
This is exactly what I want to do to my bonestock 2007 mustang gt, the body has 256k mileage and it's an auto. The engine has been rebuilt around 70k miles ago and I rebuilt the transmission around 8.5k ago. Could I do this with that factor of the mileage and it being an auto? And what should be the first thing I do to it? Like a plug and play tune? I already have a K&N ram intake. Thanks!
Yes this video may help answer some of those supercharger questions watch this one ruclips.net/video/thu2An4foCI/видео.html This video link is about first mods ruclips.net/video/RHScJSgheoQ/видео.html
Is your guys B326 for the 3 valve 4.6 or is it for the 5.0? I recently got a 05 mustang Roush and this summer I plan on trying to build the car and go boost!
@@BrenspeedEngineeringawesome thanks. I see you guys only ship short blocks, any idea when those would be in stock again and I’m assuming one or only a few are in stock at a time? Maybe I have to order one first?

Depends on the person installing it. It has instructions. I can't say how difficult because what I think is easy may blow somebody's mind that thinks they are a great installer, and vise versa.
That color looks so good on an already beautiful car💯
I think so too!

LETS GO!
Very awesome 3V 05 GT, now laying down some good power, very clean car, engine bay looks awesome.

Need a Paxton for a 2015 sxt challenger
Nice!! Hard to believe that mustang is 18 years old.
I was thinking the same thing. Time is moving!
I bought my 2008 GT brand new, it’s crazy how time flies.

from my understanding (i have a 4.6 2v with heads cams etc) these ohc motors love to be rev,d really high and continue to make power

So the internals are stock????
Correct here is a video link you may like to watch about that ruclips.net/video/oe-TR6JKtvo/видео.html
450 rwhp is about the limit for stock internals on the 05-09
