Omg I watched this as a kid and decided ever since then that I will never rely on credit cards lol only cash of VISA/Mastercard lol I don’t understand the reasoning behind spending money you don’t have if you know full well that sooner or later you’ll have to pay it and you probably won’t have the money to do so.
I seriously believe Isla Fisher is such an underrated actress. She literally CARRIED this movie on her back, like she makes a potentially very annoying character such a loveable trainwreck. Too bad this movie didn't do too well in the box office and unfairly trashed by critics. Edit: Btw that blonde girl from the auction is from the Cabin in the Woods..
Even though the debt guy is doing his job it's relatable to people to see him as the villain because they really are that stalkerish in real life. It's so much of an issue that here in America, that it was brought up in politics a little while back as something to reform. Paying off debts is important and this movie is a comedy but for people who aren't this frivolous and genuinely had no other choice, people see debt collectors as villainous, especially since people tend to get into debt by predatory means. I'm sure you guys know that though, just wanted to say it anyway.
Most of his tactics were extremely illegal, some of it might have been okay when this movie came out but debt collection has reformed a lot in the last decade or so. I’ll just say if a debt collector is doing anything close to these tactics you should report and possibly sue them and they will remove the debt if you complain because it’s not just kind of illegal it’s like felony level type illegal and any legitimate agency will get in serious trouble for the stunts he pulled.
The reason the blonde woman in the elevator went after the main love interest is because she heard he's VERY well off (mom's last name was the clue). She's just after the money - she's not actually into him.
It's always been kinda funny to me how her love interest ends up being a really rich CEO. Nothing fixes a shopping addiction more than a rich boyfriend ❤ So inspiring❤
OR - she didn't have a rich boyfriend while she was a shopaholic, he only became rich after she broke her addiction. Freedom from dependency is the real wealth.
It's not a coincidence. He is rich, he can own all trendy clothes and stuffs he want to, but he is not interested in that. He has very healthy relationships with money, he values your personality, honesty, authenticity etc., while Rebecca try to satisfy herself by buying empty stuffs and ruins her life. Rich CEO is there not only for romance aspect but for contrast, like: "I can buy whole new prada collection, but it doesn’t make me happy. You can't buy love and happiness." Rebecca was unhappy and lost, she tried to deal with emptiness by buying stuffs, but it never worked so she had to buy more.
Hopefully she has the temptation more under control so she won't ask. Plus I think him being aware of her addiction means he isn't going to enable that kind of behavior.
If I recall correctly (and it's been a good long while since I read these books) Derek Smeath wasn't a bad guy. They paint him out to be the villain, but in the end Becky realizes that he's just doing his job, and they have a nice final moment of mutual respect when she turns in the money. I thought that was a way better ending than the pettiness in the movie, as fun as it is. I love the campiness of this movie, thank you both for doing it!
Rewatching this…again (hehe) and I so do agree with you!! It would have been that much more of a character resolve to see that mutual respect and resolution. I think it would have added impact to show how even her perception of him was skewed to protect her addiction. Just like the mannequins. To then come back to her fixing her wrongs and seeing him in a whole new light and having that realization would have been even more *chefs kiss*
Here in my country, debt collectors depending on the company, are very much stalkers. I get it that Derek in theory is doing his job, but we see him in the movie saying to his coworkers things like "befriend them and then blackmail them with all their debt", that's very much abusive and illegal. I think Derek totally deserved what happened in the end of the movie, he was rude even to his coworkers and we see that too.
The debt collector was obviously in the wrong? He harasses her at work and then continues to harass her on a public television show, how in any world would that be okay
Omg finally! After so long, I have a movie that I could write essay on. Sophie Kinsella shook the world with her books and the movie adaptation was good.
This movie portrays addiction very well, they show how it financially breaks you, it makes it difficult to do day to day activities like studying and working, and it hurts your close relationships, this movie could have been about anything but they needed to use shopping to make it funny.
Outside of horror, movies don't typically make me anxious or give me second-hand embarrassment, thankfully. This had me almost crawling up the theater wall. As someone who had to coupon clip, budget, and just generally know where every penny was going all throughout my twenties, this film took 5 years off my life.

I actually read the first few books in this series. Quit reading because it became too much to stomach. It’s a happy ending for the movie but she ends up back in debt several times before it finally sticks. I’m assuming it does stick as I gave up on the series before I could find out. In this way, the series does illustrate that she’s an actual addict. It’s just portrayed pretty light hearted and there is so no sense of urgency because her husband is a literal millionaire
Yeah, same here. I gave up a few books in because she NEVER seemed to learn her lesson. She'd reach some personal growth at the end of a book only to slide back to square one all over again. Like, I get that that's how addiction is, but it's so frustrating to read about. I will admit that she genuinely CARES about the people in her life and does own up to her mistakes (even if it takes her a good long while to realise how she messed up). Plus, she tries to solve her messes by herself without getting Luke's money involved - from what I remember anyway. But all that said, I am happier not following up on the rest of the series
I read the first few books too. I found her behavior so infuriating!! Clearly she has a very serious problem and all the people in her life are covering for her! It just irked me. But I love Isla Fisher so I couldn't stop myself from watching the movie and it wasn't that bad.
While I agree with you, I actually enjoyed the series because I found the humor employed in the book series hilarious. Reading about Becky making so many bad decisions and mistakes due to her shopping addiction was like watching a train wreck--I was so fascinated by it haha
Spoiler alert: in 'Shopaholic to the Rescue', she gets a huge wakeup call, and... actually feels sick at the thought of spending the money in the first place, never mind having to pay it back. The theme running through all the books that really stuck with me is how important a community is for learning to resist an addiction.
The reaction to her calling the debt collect as her ex was gold! I have a bit of a shopping obsession but after seeing this movie thank god I haven’t reached that level. Admittedly it is primarily the fear of being hunted down by the IRS.
I personally found it really difficult going from a wealthy family to trying to make ends meet on my own. Budgeting was fine but I did find it hard and upsetting denying myself things I wanted. (I'm not talking big luxuries, I mean anything that wasn't basic food or rent). The hardest bit was when I started getting good money and really had to control the impulse to buy dumb stuff that I didn't need because once you lose control it can absolutely get away from you. It's not just about the money, it's the waste of stuff and you only have so much room and you can never find anything you actually need.. so you buy more.
i recently rediscovered this movie and i really love it. it's pretty solid, and as someone who also struggles with an addiction (kind of an obscure kind that many would probably laugh at--kind of like how some initially would at the idea of a shopaholic--but is very much a constant struggle in my life), very relatable mc and situations overall, outside of some of the hollywood-style exaggerations lmao. personally, i do think what mr. smeath did was a little cruel, mocking and making fun of her on live televisions in front of thousands, potentially hundreds of thousands, is pretty unnecessary. i understand using it to make contact because he was being thwarted in every other way, but dragging it on just to humiliate her wasn't okay. once he'd proved he was an actual debt collector and that she owed money, he could have ended it there, but he didn't. so i do think he was deserving of the payment in pennies, not because he did his job tracking her down for years, but because of his cruelty in the end. but anyway her parents were great, and actually very realistic. they were in some part responsible (obviously not solely, but definitely not blameless) for rebecca's issues later in life, however unintentional, which is pretty common. even really good parents can make mistakes that cause their kids grief later on. but they're loving and there for her, especially when she's at her lowest point. and i do think it was fine for them to bail her out (not always realistic, true, but then we would have had a much more depressing ending because irl the people who don't get bailed out end up in extremely poor conditions at best), because that was the essence of their characters; material things weren't what was important to them, even things they'd saved for their whole lives. the people they love are what's important. which is a good lesson for everyone, but especially for people like rebecca who have an unhealthy/unbalanced love for material things. so she was being partially bailed out yeah, but by the people who, out of everyone in your life, _should_ be the most willing to come to your aid when you need it, and it was their choice to do it, not something rebecca asked them to do. loved it. also as an extra sweet moment, i love that it was her dad that talked to her, not her mom? usually it's a mother-daughter moment in these kinds of movies (when both parents are alive). loved seeing a father-daughter moment. :') this comment is ridiculously long, sorry. loved the reaction, i always do. if you guys ever do tv shows at some point, on this channel or another, i would _REALLY_ love to see you guys react to Anne With An E. one of my all time favorite shows, so incredibly well-made, and covers really great topics. the discussions would be fantastic
I honestly think that even though Rebecca did something wrong, it never hurt anyone else but herself. Meanwhile, Smith is doing his job, okay. But his job is contantly reminding people of their debts. Publicly humiliating her like that is not okay and her giving him the sum in coins is pretty soft
I was attracted to this movie as a kid mainly bc of the costumes but it's actually quite a great lesson/story! I found myself watching it on TV here and there if it was on because I enjoyed it so much the first time ☺
I cannot explain how excited I was when I saw this notification. I love this movie so much and I've always hoped y'all would react to it. I never commented it either because I know some people don't like requests, so this is a great surprise.
TL;dr: Derek was breaking the law and should be in jail. He was not justified in what he was doing at any point in the movie and he is the villain. I love this movie but I wish the writers did some research on the laws surrounding debt collection. What Derek was doing is harassment and debt collectors aren’t legally allowed to do that. He can call her ONCE a day, he can even come to her house during normal hours, but he can’t literally hunt her down anywhere she goes. He REALLY isn’t allowed to show up at her work either. Derek was actually stalking her, and he didn’t have a legal right to harass her the way he was. The security escorting him out would have been valid whether she lied about him being her ex or not. Also, debt collectors can’t threaten to place a lean on someone’s house unless the house was already put up for collateral when the original debt was incurred. Derek is seriously breaking the law and it has always grated on me when I watch this otherwise fantastic movie. OH I FORGOT- He’s DEFINITELY not allowed to share her debt with anyone else, ESPECIALLY not strangers, and *ESPECIALLY* not on LIVE TV. Everything he did was wrong, and illegal. Derek should be in jail.
Thank you!! I always thought what he did was dubious, even though I don't know the specific legal stance on everything. Also I don't know how he thought outing her on live TV was a good idea?? Because he got her fired?? So how tf was she gonna pay the debt he wanted her to pay then? It's not like she has the money just lying around or something. Extremely cruel and short sighted tactic honestly.
Is it just me or does anyone else sing/makes the “tururu tururu turururu🔥” noise of the guitar when they say “I’m Sam, Steph, and we are the movie buds”? Also, I really love your reactions to the different movies you watch, you guys are always so open minded and positive while giving your opinions and are always trying to see a bit further than just the initial first impression so I really enjoy coming back to your videos ❤ All the love and support!
ive never been deeply interested in fashion or shopping, and i like to think my shopping habbits are on the thriftier side but for some reason i absolutelly adore this movie (probably even go so far as to say its in my top3 fav movies of all time) i'm so glad u guys reacted to it!
The woman who looks familiar who wins the green scarf bidding war is Kristen Connolly, who plays the main character in "Cabin In the Woods." If you guys have not seen that movie, I would highly recommend. She has been in other things, but that is the main movie people recognize her from.
YEEEEES finally another romcom!! can't wait to watch it! I have been rewatching your reaction to The Devil Wears Prada every night basically to help my PTSD iinsomnia. Your videos are the ultimate comfort for me!
You don't know how much I needed this video, such a bad mental health day, lots of uni lectures, tired af and I come home and you guys have uploaded 👌👌👌
This movie shows two different types of “shopaholic” in one person - A hoarder who indulges in all things consumerism and “gifts” has a love, like and hate language finds material things as something supernatural in significance. It’s a type of iconography. However most shopaholics are indulgers broadly - usually overeaters - they lack moderation when it comes to dopamine due to anxiety or depression. It’s a way of self-medicating.
Omg this movie is so well cast 😮😮😮 Isla Fisher Joan Cusack JOHN GOODMAN Krysten Ritter Kristen Scott Thomas Lynn Redgrave Jonathan Lithgow Wendie Malick STUNNIN!
I remember so vividly how everyone talked about this movie when it was released. Kind of a big deal for us finns that we were mentioned in a hollywood movie. Oh and you NEVER kiss a finn as a greeting. We hate strangers in our personal space.
After your guy's hard reactions to the whole SA (Shopaholic Anonymous) I would really like to see you do a movie react to Blades of Glory from 2007. Tbh, I really love the friendship between Chazz and Jimmy. Also the movie never fails to make me laugh especially when Chazz says the dumbest things. "They laughed at Louis Armstrong when he said he was going to the moon. Now he's up there laughing at them."
I hated the part where the shopaholics anonymous lady makes her give her dresses away. I mean what authority does she have to literally force her to do that. I would have called her friend to confirm that it was actually her bridesmaids dress
I am so glad you guys did this movie! It is so underrated, and more people need to see it, especially when a lot of people go to "retail therapy" when stressed. (Guilty). Also movie recommend, Akeelah and the Bee. Stars child Keke Palmer
I need to take the time to say that I genuinely enjoy the videos that you guys upload. I love hearing your introspection into movies that a lot of guys wouldn’t really touch. It’s refreshing and even if I don’t like the movie you guys pick, I still watch and manage to get an appreciation for it. I hope that one day you can watch some horror movies that leave a lot for the imagination but anyway! Love watching you guys!
It may have been a bit different back when this movie was made, but as of right now, debt collectors are only allowed to track you down to retrieve your address, phone number, and work info through a third party, and only with the intention of finding other ways of contacting you (collection letters and the like). They cannot physically track you down the way this guy does in this movie. They can only contact you at work if your place of work allows you to take personal phone calls. If not, they can't call your work place. They're allowed to contact friends and family as a way to try to get in contact with you, but I believe there's a limit on how often they can do so. They can threaten legal action, but only in the vein of getting lawyers involved to garnish your wages; they CANNOT threaten to have you arrested, or put a lien on your house or car or the like (unless, of course, the debt you owe is FOR your house or car, lol). That being said, I do agree that the way the movie presents it, she's not in the right for paying off her debt in that petty way, lol.
I loved this movie when I was a kid and actually I ended up going to Finland (by coincidence) later on in life on an exchange, which makes it even more dear to my heart now xd
Steph! If yall want more Elle Woods content, you should watch her be her Elle Woods self in Congress in the sequel! Great reaction this was such a favorite growing up.🤍
4:02 dude u described that perfectly and just made me realize 😂😂 half of the women's clothes being sold rn needs a matching pair for it to work but for men they get whole suits or a shirt and underwear pack😂😂
I love this movie so much. They used to have credit card companies set up here (in Canada) at college/universities , offering students a free CD or free chocolate bar etc if they apply for a credit card. (As well as malls) I have so many friends who applied to like 10 cards in a 2 year span because they wanted the 'free' stuff. So they ended up in major debt /collections & had ruined their credit...all before they turned 20 because we were never taught about credit cards, personal finance or anything like that in school. I thankfully never got a credit card until I was 25 (I actually worked for a credit card company at the time so I knew how/when to pay and all the little tricks they do to gouge people for money so I was very careful with it). My parents always taught us about personal finances so even when I made minimum wage I never went into debt. I was lucky but most of my friends were in debt for many years. Thankfully though, several years ago the government here put rules in place to keep credit card companies off campuses so they can't take advantage of people's financial illiteracy . But that's here, not sure what it's like for other countries.
Also, I worked at the call centre for credit cards for 2 years and a lot of people have NO clue about their finances, the credit card rules etc. Most of us were trying to help, we'd tell callers the best way to pay off a card and they would just flip out. Even if we gave free one time fee waivers etc. Because we were the "Enemy". It's that whole shoot the messenger thing... Sadly, most people don't understand that using a credit card is borrowing from the company. So taking from the credit card company...and not paying it back is literally theft. For people that don't understand how the system works, they look at all representatives of the credit cards as "Evil". For us it was about 99% of callers completely financially illiterate (even though it was a Business Cards department), and therefore they'd all scream & verbally abuse us. When I ended up doing Escalations I was literally not allowed to hang up so I could be stuck on a 2 hour long call trying to explain & help someone and they'd just abuse me. The collections department had it way worse. So while all the agents try to do their job & help we were still always seen as the bad guys. Don't get me wrong credit card companies do a lot of shady stuff to gouge people for money & trick them into things, but us agents were always honest and set callers straight to find them the best solutions (So they wouldn't call back and harass us). While I love this movie, IRL all Rebecca had to do was answer the call and say she didn't have the money. They would have worked out a payment plan (one of my friends was in debt of $9,500 and the collections agents reduced it to paying back $6k, starting out with paying $35 a month then eventually she could pay more etc).
I know I’m too deeply invested in my childhood bond with Isla in this movie 😂 Plus it this reaction was hilarious and the first time I’ve seen somebody actually feel for Derek lmao. Did he do a number of highly illegal things? Oh, so many. But the pennies we NOT necessary lol
YES!!! I was meaning to comment requesting this film for you react to so thanks for the delightful surprise! If you're going for more rom-coms would you please consider 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding" or "The Holiday"? I think you would have fun with those. And if doing animation again; George of the Jungle (basically a cartoon in live action form with Brendan Fraser), Rise of the Guardians, Atlantis the Lost Empire, Rescuers Down Under (my top request) and Quest for Camelot?
Sam's cringing reaction was my face the entire watching this movie when it came out. And the exact reason why I've never been able to rewatch. Love the movie but it physically hurts
I remember my mom showing me this when i was little my father passed through the living room and was like "that's your mother she can't help buying something" and she was like🤡

i recently rediscovered this movie and i really love it. it's pretty solid, and as someone who also struggles with an addiction (kind of an obscure kind that many would probably laugh at--kind of like how some initially would at the idea of a shopaholic--but is very much a constant struggle in my life), very relatable mc and situations overall, outside of some of the hollywood-style exaggerations lmao.
personally, i do think what mr. smeath did was a little cruel, mocking and making fun of her on live televisions in front of thousands, potentially hundreds of thousands, is pretty unnecessary. i understand using it to make contact because he was being thwarted in every other way, but dragging it on just to humiliate her wasn't okay. once he'd proved he was an actual debt collector and that she owed money, he could have ended it there, but he didn't. so i do think he was deserving of the payment in pennies, not because he did his job tracking her down for years, but because of his cruelty in the end.
but anyway her parents were great, and actually very realistic. they were in some part responsible (obviously not solely, but definitely not blameless) for rebecca's issues later in life, however unintentional, which is pretty common. even really good parents can make mistakes that cause their kids grief later on. but they're loving and there for her, especially when she's at her lowest point. and i do think it was fine for them to bail her out (not always realistic, true, but then we would have had a much more depressing ending because irl the people who don't get bailed out end up in extremely poor conditions at best), because that was the essence of their characters; material things weren't what was important to them, even things they'd saved for their whole lives. the people they love are what's important. which is a good lesson for everyone, but especially for people like rebecca who have an unhealthy/unbalanced love for material things. so she was being partially bailed out yeah, but by the people who, out of everyone in your life, _should_ be the most willing to come to your aid when you need it, and it was their choice to do it, not something rebecca asked them to do. loved it. also as an extra sweet moment, i love that it was her dad that talked to her, not her mom? usually it's a mother-daughter moment in these kinds of movies (when both parents are alive). loved seeing a father-daughter moment. :')
this comment is ridiculously long, sorry. loved the reaction, i always do. if you guys ever do tv shows at some point, on this channel or another, i would _REALLY_ love to see you guys react to Anne With An E. one of my all time favorite shows, so incredibly well-made, and covers really great topics. the discussions would be fantastic
As someone who's currently $7,000 in debt and only making about 12K a year and has spending problrms this movie speaks to me in so many ways
😳🥺
@@RabbitsFunWorld I know
omg
good luck, friend. you can do it!
I wish you the best!! I hope u overcome this
I wish you the best, it's hard to make 12k stretch. Don't be too hard kn yourself and hope you can get sorted.
I found myself watching it on TV here and there if it was on because I enjoyed it so much the first time ☺
As someone who has run a sample sale I can now confidently say they are as ravenous and cutthroat as in this film 💀
I assume the movie did what they did with his character on purpose for conflict purposes.
Is it just me or does anyone else sing/makes the “tururu tururu turururu🔥” noise of the guitar when they say “I’m Sam, Steph, and we are the movie buds”?
Also, I really love your reactions to the different movies you watch, you guys are always so open minded and positive while giving your opinions and are always trying to see a bit further than just the initial first impression so I really enjoy coming back to your videos ❤
All the love and support!
I DO IT TOO!
YEEEEES!!!
I totally think of Bill and Ted. He he he...😂
Yes!
41:46 Except he has no right to show up at her work place like that.
Another Isla Fisher movie I think you guys would love is Definitely Maybe. :)
I love Hugh Dancy!! He is so underrated
Indeed. Which is why I think it's a crime he wasn't cast as Mr. Darcy.
@@videohistory722 hmm i see him more as a mr. Knightley kind of character from Emma!
@@SiaWhyy omg now I NEED this. Hugh Dancy is such a Knightley.
ive never been deeply interested in fashion or shopping, and i like to think my shopping habbits are on the thriftier side but for some reason i absolutelly adore this movie (probably even go so far as to say its in my top3 fav movies of all time) i'm so glad u guys reacted to it!
This was one of my all time favorite movies growing up!!!! I was so shocked but so happy to ya'll watching it!!!!!!
The woman who looks familiar who wins the green scarf bidding war is Kristen Connolly, who plays the main character in "Cabin In the Woods." If you guys have not seen that movie, I would highly recommend. She has been in other things, but that is the main movie people recognize her from.
This was one of my favorite movies when I was younger, I'm so happy you guys did a commentary to it!!
YEEEEES finally another romcom!! can't wait to watch it! I have been rewatching your reaction to The Devil Wears Prada every night basically to help my PTSD iinsomnia. Your videos are the ultimate comfort for me!
This is one of my favorite movies, I’m so glad you guys watched it!
It's the best movie about addiction I've ever seen.
The blond girl also only liked Luke because of who his mother was, so her interest in him wasn't genuine.
You don't know how much I needed this video, such a bad mental health day, lots of uni lectures, tired af and I come home and you guys have uploaded 👌👌👌
This movie shows two different types of “shopaholic” in one person -
A hoarder who indulges in all things consumerism and “gifts” has a love, like and hate language finds material things as something supernatural in significance. It’s a type of iconography.
However most shopaholics are indulgers broadly - usually overeaters - they lack moderation when it comes to dopamine due to anxiety or depression. It’s a way of self-medicating.
41:58 fun fact: this movie is one of the first/few movies to actually film inside a real Barney's.
This was one of my favourite movies groaning up. Still holds a special play in my heart. So excited to watch it again with you guy’s commentary 😊
Omg this movie is so well cast 😮😮😮
Isla Fisher
Joan Cusack
JOHN GOODMAN
Krysten Ritter
Kristen Scott Thomas
Lynn Redgrave
Jonathan Lithgow
Wendie Malick
STUNNIN!
It is such a great cast
I’ve wanted someone to do this for so long! But no one has even heard of it lol ahhh this is so exciting
I agree, really good cast for this one! Such a good movie with a good story.
I remember LOVING the talking mannequins lol they are kinda creepy but I really like magical realism in movies! 😂
I adore this movie, and the book series is one of my favorite comfort reads, they're so funny.
I hated the part where the shopaholics anonymous lady makes her give her dresses away. I mean what authority does she have to literally force her to do that. I would have called her friend to confirm that it was actually her bridesmaids dress
Thanks!
you guys really have to react to atonement, it's explodes my heart every time
God reading the og book when I was a little kid really helped me understand money better, and also appreciate value over appearance and trends.
I am so glad you guys did this movie! It is so underrated, and more people need to see it, especially when a lot of people go to "retail therapy" when stressed. (Guilty). Also movie recommend, Akeelah and the Bee. Stars child Keke Palmer
One of my favorites ever! i miss movies like this
I always say “ If I want it, I need it” lol
I need to take the time to say that I genuinely enjoy the videos that you guys upload. I love hearing your introspection into movies that a lot of guys wouldn’t really touch. It’s refreshing and even if I don’t like the movie you guys pick, I still watch and manage to get an appreciation for it. I hope that one day you can watch some horror movies that leave a lot for the imagination but anyway! Love watching you guys!
Confessions of a Shopaholic is such a good movie. Thansk for your reaction. We appreciate it so much.
I personally love the pink dress, it’s so over the top and campy! Isla Fisher is brilliant in this movie, she’s so so charismatic
it reminds me of Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the city (kinda vibes)
This movie has a special place in my heart, it's my first romcom & a very good one at that. There are ten books in the series though.
Guys … she was ‘on it’ because she heard his mother’s name 😂😂😂😂😂 hence she jumped on him in the lift 😂😂😂
I loved this movie when I was a kid and actually I ended up going to Finland (by coincidence) later on in life on an exchange, which makes it even more dear to my heart now xd
Steph! If yall want more Elle Woods content, you should watch her be her Elle Woods self in Congress in the sequel! Great reaction this was such a favorite growing up.🤍
Preesh, but we did watch the sequel 👍 - Sam
4:02 dude u described that perfectly and just made me realize 😂😂 half of the women's clothes being sold rn needs a matching pair for it to work but for men they get whole suits or a shirt and underwear pack😂😂
"Tequila doesn't have good ideas." Words to live by, really.
Finally one video where Steph says my name💕 Amazing commentary like always, made me want to rewatch the movie. Stay awesome❤️🔥
This, the devil wears Prada and father of the bride were my comfort movies growing up!!
Also,
I worked at the call centre for credit cards for 2 years and a lot of people have NO clue about their finances, the credit card rules etc.
OMFG I CANNOT BELIEVE YALL REACTED TO THIS ❤❤ THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES EVER 😭😭
great video! i don't know if anyone said it already but the blonde girl who gets the scarf is the protagonist in The Cabin in the Woods
32:31 The dancing scene is how a true chaos agent works in social settings lol
To be fair, debt collectors shouldn't be calling up places of work EVEN IF people aren't answering their calls.
I'm so happy you reacted to this one, one of my favorites
13:46 Kristin Scott Thomas, a legend. In this movie, she’s like Miranda Priestly’s nicer sister.
Hey! Finland came second in Eurovision this year, which a song sang in Finnish. But we actually won.
We are important.
I know I’m too deeply invested in my childhood bond with Isla in this movie 😂 Plus it this reaction was hilarious and the first time I’ve seen somebody actually feel for Derek lmao. Did he do a number of highly illegal things? Oh, so many. But the pennies we NOT necessary lol
the way pre-teen me fell in love with this man….
The older guy who is the boss is the voice of lord Farquad and Churchill on the crown!!
Alicia was only interested in Luke when she found out who his Mother is. That’s why she’s the bad guy
OH MY GOSH!!! finally someone reacted to one of my favourite movies.
love you guys♡
I love this movie and also my family when it's on we always gather around and watch it together
The girl you thought was Dakota Johnson was actually Kristen Connolly! You probably recognize her from Cabin in the Woods if you’ve ever seen it.
This was such a sweet video. I will definitely check the channel more!
The man at 13:00 who pulled the rack. Isn't that the brother of the actor who played Captain America???
Loved this! The reaction reminded me how much of the movie I blocked out of insane secondary embarrassment
Sam's cringing reaction was my face the entire watching this movie when it came out. And the exact reason why I've never been able to rewatch. Love the movie but it physically hurts
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! CANT WAIT FOR YOUR REACTION!!!!
33:55 Thanks to this movie, I’ve wanted ‘Rich Girl’ by Gwen Stefani as my Ringtone 😂
An underrated moment is when the Dantay West Receptionist replies to “What would your mother like?” with “Sobriety.”
I remember my mom showing me this when i was little my father passed through the living room and was like "that's your mother she can't help buying something" and she was like🤡
56:27 we love a The Owl House reference
