This video shows how to design a surfacing routine using VCarvePRO.
An earlier video shows why surfacing is so important when engraving because even very minor thickness (.040") differences in your material can drastically affect the outcome of your project. The earlier video also shows how your bit selection can offset these very minor surface irregularities if prefer to have a rougher, more irregular surface.
CNC machining gives you many options that should be considered with your projects, that's where the artistry comes back in!
