- Wonderfruit is Asia’s eco-friendly, high society version of Burning Man. It is a 5-Day lifestyle music festival in Thailand that combines arts, music, food, culture and nature.
More than 20,000 adventurers of all ages and cultures come together from all over the world to celebrate life. It takes place in the fields of Siam Country Club every year around the 2nd week of December just outside of Pattaya about two hours from Bangkok. Wonder Fruit is as much a day festival as it is a nighttime event, there’s something for everyone, and the possibilities are endless… you make it what you want it to be.

Do ypu know if they play any dubstep at this festival?
I didn't know what dubstep is so I went to listen to some samples... I think they played this kind of genre in Quarry zone (stage surrounded by trees) around midnight - 5am. you can check out the DJ lineup and types of music that they play from their Wonderfruit app :)
This makes me want to goto Pattaya again, maybe next year I can goto Wonderfruit too!

@@Cleedek that's right, the 2nd pre-sale is now on-going for 72 hours. I saw the ticket prices have gone up this year, if anyone is going this year, book the tickets earlier to save money :)
Thanks for sharing your detailed POV of Wonderfruit. Can’t wait to go this year! One thing I noticed was that the grounds was not densely packed, there was a lot of space to spread out, I hate festivals where you’re squeezed in with hardly any room to breathe. Was transport to and from there difficult? Lots of people waiting in the same place for pick up at Wonderfruit? And was the road to and from the venue packed with cars?
Thank you David!! Yes, it will be so much fun to hangout with you at this year’s wonderfruit! And yes, I totally agree (festivals with too many people are too stressful). As for the transportation, if you are coming with a group, it’s best to book a private van but if it’s just a few people, there is a Grab car station near the entrance where you can call / wait for grab taxi. The first night & around sunset time, the road to and from the venue was packed with cars but at other times, the traffic wasn’t too bad :)

sorry, I only visited Pattaya twice so don't know much about that city... in Bangkok, usually you can goto flower markets for DIY Loy Krathong sets or parks to buy them. Happy Loy Krathong to you :)
How much should money should i bring? Is it better to have cash or credit card is okay?
it really depends on how much you eat / drink / buy but I think I spent about 1200 - 1500 THB / day. Some experiences like massages / ice bath / some workshops are free, some events like rice tasting / sato tasting you have to buy tickets. Street foods & fast foods were around 200-350/dish. Alcoholic drinks like cocktails were bit more expensive around 250-400 THB / drink. You can use cash, credit card, Thai mobile bank transfer to charge your wristband at any of the top-up stations. I remember they also had one ATM machine at the entrance but I think it's safer to bring some cash just in case.

올해 가는데 이런 정보성 영상이 잘 없어서 정보 찾기 어려웠는데 넘 반갑습니다!!! 낮에 가서 밤까지 쭉 있기 힘들까요?? 보통 저녁 쯤 출발하ㄷㅓ라구요?!
도움이 되셨다니 제가 기쁘네요 :) 파타야 호텔에 묵으실거면, 개인적으로는 한 오후 3시쯤에 가셔서 데이타임 즐기시고, 6시쯤 노을도 구경하고 저녁도 먹고, 거기서 한 두시간 쉬신다음, 밤까지 있는걸 추천합니다. 더 일찍가면, 덥고 힘들수도 있어요. 아니면, 4-5일동안 하니, 하루는 밤에가서 즐기시고, 그 다음날엔 낮에 가서 즐기는 것도 괜찮을거 같아요. 새벽이 되면 추워지니, 잠바도 챙기시고요. 즐거운 시간 되세요!
교통이 걱정인데, 택시는 행사장에서도 잘 잡히는 편일까요? 그냥 렌트를 해서 갈까 고민이기도 해요 짐이 좀 있을 것 같기도 하고ㅠㅠ 택시비가 높다는 후기를 많이 봐서요...힝
@@ddunna 택시는 행사장에서 아주 바쁜 시간 아니면 어플 Grab Taxi / LINE Taxi / Bolt 쓰시면 잘 잡힐꺼에요 (단 사용자가 많으면 기다리는 시간이 길어지고 가격이 비싸질수도 있구요), 행사장 입구에 Grab Taxi 전용 대기 장소도 있구요. 제가 렌트카는 경험이 없어서 잘 모르겠고, 호텔에서 묵으실거면 몇 호텔에서 행사장까지 오가는 버스들도 있다고 들었어요. 근데 많은 일행 (3-10명) 같이 오실꺼면 카렌트나 / Van 하루씩 사전 예약하는것도 괜찮을수도 있어요. Private Van은 하루에 한 2500-4500 바트 정도 했었던거 같아요 (12시간) 또 궁금하신거 있음 언제든 물어보세요 :)
공식 셔틀버스 장소가 다 제휴 호텔이더라구요! 셔틀버스 금액도 떴는데 (편도 300바트) 고냥 택시 타고 다니는 게 나을까요..? 일행은 저까지 2명이에요! 공식 제휴 호텔+셔틀버스 예약 할지 그냥 다른 호텔+택시할지 고민이라 아직 호텔 예약을 몬하고 이써여 😞

네, 웬만한 프로그램들은 다 참여 가능해요, 그러나 인기 많은 프로그램들은 자리가 빨리 차기 때문에 사전에 예약하는게 좋으실 거예요. 대부분은 풀패스 있으면 따로 돈 안내도 되는 프로그램들도 있고, 현장에서 돈내고 티켓 구매했던 프로그램들도 있었던걸로 기억해요. 더 궁금하신거 있음 언제든 물어보세요 :)
