Hurricane Beryl made landfall on Carriacou Island in Granada as a Category 4 hurricane on July 1. Stephen Caton joined FOX Weather on Sunday morning to describe what he and his family experienced on Carriacou Island as his family's home was being destroyed by the deadly storm.

Listen don't come with that bs I'm from Grenada and we are God fearing nation. Carriacou was in the direct line of the hurricane it is not the only place thats been affected, it's just worse there. So edict yourself because we are one of the safest countries in the Caribbean and world. Check the trim rate of one city in the US to ours stop playing with me 🙄🙄🙄🙄

​@@prodigalpursuit The wind field was very small hence the reason most of the damage was isolated to one area. It was more like a 30 mile wide tornado wrapped in a spiral of clouds rather than a traditional hurricane. Even in Jamaica only some areas got wind while the majority of the island got rain. A larger hurricane with less wind shear would be more destructive on a wider scale. Either way I'm so sorry the got hit this bad 💯🙏
