- Iron Harvest new mechs and units
Iron Harvest is a real-time strategy game (RTS) set in the alternate reality of 1920+, just after the end of the Great War. The Game lets you control giant dieselpunk mechs, combining epic singleplayer and coop campaigns as well as skirmishes with intense action on the battlefield for multiplayer fans, Iron Harvest is the classic real-time strategy games fans have been waiting for.
Tradition clashes with scientific and technological progress, while Europe is still recovering from the brutal battles of the World War. Cities are being rebuilt and in the countryside, the era of the Iron Harvest has begun. Farmers are uncovering the remains of the majestic walking machines that had fought on the battlefields of the Great War.
In the midst of this chaos, a new threat appears that will put Europe’s very existence at risk. Secret forces are putting everything they can towards destabilization of entire countries, determined to set the world on fire once again and finally seize control.

Oh noooooo....
@Mr BadAccent there are not but do's not mean they will go down fast ever. There medium armor
Imperial titan: OwO ha
I love the designs of each faction's Mechs. Polania looks ramshackle due to the fact that they've more or less a resistance then an actual army at that point. Rusviet has a blocky, function over form look probably due to the fact that they're army is large but cheaply equipped and maintained, and Saxony have a lot of spider walkers since their homeland is apparently very mountainous.
It's a classic tri-faction trope that some RTS games have. A cobbled together resistance faction that focuses on quantity and overwhelming enemies. A industrial faction that is kind of a balance between unit quantity and unit quality. Lastly a more technologically advanced faction that has strong units but at the highest cost.
Ethan B Very common, now that you point it out. Like Orks, Space Marines, and Eldar, from WH40k Dawn of War.
Very good analysis, my friend
@OVOD.net It's not so uncommon for (fictional) rebellions to have big-ass super units. Even the Rebels from Star Wars had the Mon Calamari cruisers and the Gargantuan
Furthermore, Saxony's arsenal leans towards trench warfare/siege type units: mortars, bomb-deployers, mobile bunkers, that kind of thing, very much evoking the tactics that worked for Germany in WW1.
Rusviet's arsenal encourages aggressive tactics, with shotgun infantry, flamethrowers, and claw-mechs. In keeping with late-1930s Soviet doctrine, it seems like a Rusviet player should always consider defensive operations to be a temporary state of affairs, until force can be mustered to counter-attack.
"Ragtag" is the key word for Polanian units: most of them are good at what they do, but Polanian troops overall don't have a cohesive doctrine, so, on the one hand, they're flexible and able to adapt to a changing battlefield, but on the other hand, they will crumble if forced to fight a Saxonian or Rusviet force on its own terms.
Would have been nice if the TUR could get a reload animation instead of just having to glare at the enemies motionless between shots. Like a little crane on top that loads new shells into the guns.
Or even just letting us see the shells ejecting. It might be because of presentation, but right now the Tur feels way less powerful than it should be, given its size.
The fact that it has two cannon, but only one projectile, is also a problem. Doesn't seem to do much damage either.
Cry
Saxony's side : "now introducing the *WTF is this chunky design completely inspired by WH40k drop-pods ?!* new mech model "
Iron Harvest footage and I say wow again :D Those smokes-effects are cool :D And a mech called "Stiefmutter" who send explosive drones.. XD The name fits perfectly for this^^ Funny to see this as a german guy :D Thx for uploading DT!
Did you know "mutter" means, "mother" in german
Seems like the key advantage of the Tur is its splash damage: its raw anti-vehicle - and even anti-battlesuit - damage is underwhelming, but it hits *everything* within a significant radius. It's probably a lot better when used as a fire-support unit for a force of more dedicated units.
I like that wooden clopping noise the Rycerz make.
They really need to fix that TTK. I get that your units insta dying is silly, but Christ that Mortar took over 20 shots head on
universe at war had a good walker balance I think
@@LordPeachew
I've never heard of Universe At War
@@justiceforjoggers2897 its a good rts made by the people who made star wars empire at war.
@@LordPeachew
Yeah it looks pretty good, thanks for the heads up haha
@@LordPeachew someone knowing universe at war is very rare. Good game, never had a chance.
PZM 24 looks like a warhammer titan
The Reaver and Warhound mixed together!
Yeah, but the "massive" cannons shoot nerf rounds, a cannon of that size should have obliterated that arty in one salvo
Agreed
I wonder if that’s the biggest mech we’ll get. I hope not
@@itsflyde if you saw the arts from the game, that thing is supposed to be much bigger, if they only made the maps bigger, they could add it without problems, but they want to make an arcade rts.
I actually want an RPG based on the universe of 1920+ just like in Scythe where you have encounter and scavenge a mech or something
I actually really like the look of the kaiser although I don't like the feet, looks like with enough force you could tip it over, although I do like how it basically turns into a Bunker Very unique idea. I don't like the look of the Stiefmutter, but I like the idea behind it tho, moving bombs, again a unique idea.
Kaiser looks kind of dissapointing for an ultra-heavy mech. Just the regular cannon turret and four MGs? And the MG turrets can't even fire all at the same target.
the A7V of Mechs. Fitting vor Saxony
I like the design it gives this feeling of invincibility since it looks like a bunker on legs
This is USA riflemen spam all over again oh men the flashbacks
4:43 also known as da Vinci’s tank
That's more like a walking WH40K Drop Pod.
U may be right
the screen shake is a bit overwhelming compared to the dmg
i hate how in both coH2 and Iron harvest they muffled explosions and gunfire. It takes so much of the power and 'unf'. Coh1 howitzers you where so damn beautiful .to my arty loving ears.
2:19
THAT MECH SHOULD BE 3x LARGER
Well this game not a Cinematic
The TUR reminds of the warhound titan from warhammer
Big like DT
4:00 Mammoth MK II
Even though they're great, the saxony looks weirdly idk like the cube, the mech design looks strange too. Does anyone feel this strangeness?
WW3 should look like this
destruction i love it
Where are those droidikas 4:50
Thank you...
i am a original saxon and i can wait to play this game...even more now cause saxons are in game :-D
Isn't the MWF 28 a bit op?
Please stop
You going to make me crazy for this game
Wait nevermind give me more
I real love Saxony and Rusviet but I heard the units are expensive for Saxony but strong
While Rusviet has cheaper and weak units
I can't choose which one to go with
Chose polania. Fast and cheap mechs, I think it might be a good option
@@piotrwisniewski70 true
But l love mother Russia and father Germany
But thanks anyway
I will try
Quantity vs quality vs speed
👏👏
That kaiser tho
Is it THICC
will this be launched on console as the same time as pc ?
I do hope so
Ian dykes nope 2021 for consoles

Am I the only one who just felt a wave of euphoria come over me when those fucking cannons fired
I’m probably weird but still
@Cameron P I don’t know
@Cameron P you’d have to leave a comment on the video yourself off because I don’t know them
@Cameron P you’re just leaving replies on my comments nobody’s going to see your question unless they look in the replies
Heavy Polania is still not a thing, right?
So the Polanians now have (Steam) Powered Armor? That's fucking random, and awesome at the time.
4:33 hermit metal krab
4:55 steam punk tower monocycles
The genre is diesul punk with a hint of steam and electricity but I believe the one wheel motorcycles are powered by electricity.
@@krievondhahrknes4259 I mean the game the first game got a monocycle with a bomb inside watch steam punk tower althought I really apreciate your enginiering spec was good

Why they exosuits looks like a warhammer power armour!?
Can they make a new Dawn of War on this engine!!! What the hell.Sega and Relic get your shit together!
Goliath Carrier.
They should fix TTK like CoC
the aftershock is too much. need to tone it down a bit
The PMZ 24 seems crap compared to all others..
What's with all the female voices?
Sounds need some polish.
I don't like their cartoonish looking of Kaiser and PZM.
I wish, this game, #IronHarvest would be re-made.. so that it was not just a mere RTS, but one that
we could actually pilot mecha in.. I've never been fond of RTS by ant stretch.. especially when
they have cool settings, & look awesome and I really want to pilot one of the mecha from this..
Not click points on damned map.
I mean, its just watching the AI play with itself, praying to the RNG gods, they will smile on me..
& hoping for the best, that isn't my idea of a good time. (mainly because the RNG gods smite me so often)
Dude, it's an RTS. There is no RNG involved.
@@kamilszadkowski8864
If the computer is aiming for me, .. that attack hitting is based on something. If its
a clear shot, & the computer still misses? what's that about? please explain that?
If its not some "Random Number Generator on the roll of if that attack hits or not" then what is it?
@@MRSketch09 Games are different. Some use an rng and/or a physics system when shooting or whatever(which are way better imo) and some, like command and conquer games and probably this have every unit always hitting unless its artillery or something
@@iamyourmom2 I appreciate the response.
@@MRSketch09 No worries. I know what you mean though. Sometimes I wish games like these give you more direct control, while theres some shooters that I would love to see as an rts
PZM 24's damage is weak as fuck.
Pzm 2 Has bad voice really
(Its my opinion)
"PMZ 24 TUR" you mean
