Hey man! Well don't let me be the one to decide! haha! Both are great. IMO if you are looking for a fast speed ripper I'd go with the SG116. Both are fun and I own both but right now i'd be reaching for the SG116.
I was saying the servo is a 3 wire servo. It can be replaced with a better servo as most that come at this price point are not great. A new servo will be better and quicker (center's quickly when steering and more responsive). I hope that helps!
Hi just want to ask. In your video you break the car at 10:17...is it normal sound and quickness of breaking process (pushing backward throttle on remote control)? Because when mine was new it was breaking super fast even from really high speeds it stopped almost immediately, but now it breaks like your one, slowly with that howling sound. Is it normal? My car seems dangerous at high speeds as the breaking is unreliable. THX
That is going to be normal hearing it whine when breaking. If you double brake it goes into reverse so that would make it stop extremely fast. One thing I would check is your throttle trim. Make sure it's in the most neutral spot. You can play with it with not touching the throttle on the radio and dial the trim up so the RC begins to move fwd... back it off and keep going till the RC goes in reverse... once you find that range, trim the throttle to have it in the middle as best as you can so you will have proper throttle and braking. This RC is a bit louder than most at this size but it has a lot of metal which the cheaper RC are plastic. So it will make more noise. It's a great RC and with a little maintenance it will last a long time and have fun. Hope that helps. Sorry with a delay answer... I was away on vacation last week.
I own the "pocket radar" and I took this to a friends house, we ran this car on a 2s lipo and some better wheels and I clocked it at 38mph = 61km. Check out video episode 648 in my channel for that update.

Be careful when buying on Aliexpress, I love Aliexpress but follow the pictures when clicking on a selection because the RC you select does alway match the title of the ad. Cheap models are brushes and say 50km and the higher priced you see 70km and are the brushless ones.
? Been running a 3s lipo 22oo really fast but I did notice my front are not running like it's 4wd how to fix that ?
Sounds like you either broke the front drive shaft or CVDs going out to the front wheels. Maybe blew out (stripped the gears) the front diff... i think it's metal though gears though so more likely what I stated earlier. Hope that helps.
Have you tried yet with LIPO?
Yeah buddy I have a video on it, put some better wheels on it too, it's a wheelie machine now. Check it out it's episode 648 on my channel.
I have one of these on the way. So should i get a different/better battery then? So if i get it off Amazon what do i type in, just 3s lipo battery?
Hey Shawn. I've heard from a few ppl recently that 3s blows the electronics. So if you want to do 3s and order a battery, then maybe order new ESC that would work. I have a link in my video notes for a nice 2s that's good and fits perfectly. I've heard the HOOVO 3s 2200 lipos on Amazon fit if you go that route. Hope that helps!
@@mikesrccornerdo I just have to get an upgraded esc to run 3s? Or do I also have to get upgraded motor and other electronics to support lipo 3s?
@@Ahhtooeasy-q2v It can run on 3s. But I would do it with caution.. on the road. Anything with resistance (grass, sand) with fry the electronics unless you don't care and willing to replace with upgraded stuff.
I'm going to a church parking lot tomorrow near my parents place when I go visit and I plan to do a 3s run with this for video. So if you want to wait and see, stay tuned! lol
Mike I like this JJRC/SCY but to me there are better options like the HBX 16889A Pro and the MJX Hyper Go 16208 for the same amount of money or even slightly cheaper.
I like all those models you mentioned. This one is $40 cheaper than the MJX 16208. I like the 3 speed settings on the radio on this model and I think my wife will like driving this truck! Everyone needs a model here at my house. LOL. Cheers Philip have a great weekend, l liked reading your comments!
@@mikesrccorner Unfortunately in my corner of the world, the best buy for these for me are the 390 brushed versions that are the same platform as this one and yes, I love them. The Conquer is great value for money, costing the least of all my 1/16 scale trucks. I had to shop around though, there are sellers trying to rip you off if you are not careful.
@@philiprccars4340I agree... shop around. It's under a few different brand news too. I took this truck last night out for a spin, put the extra set of wheels that came with the mjx 16207 and put in a 2s lipo and this truck went to the next level. Wheelies and absolutely flies. I'll have to do another video on it!
Do you know where we can get oiled shocks for this one?
I made a video series about this RC. Here's one video in the series about getting budget friendly quality oiled filled shocks. There
s a weblink in that video's description where to get them. ruclips.net/video/Y9np9JUQN0Y/видео.html&ab_channel=Mike%27sRCCorner
Hello, is hbx destoyer better than this truggy? Which one should i get🤔
Hey man! Well don't let me be the one to decide! haha! Both are great. IMO if you are looking for a fast speed ripper I'd go with the SG116. Both are fun and I own both but right now i'd be reaching for the SG116.
@@mikesrccorner thanks man! 😅
Does anyone know of this fits the jjrc q130 body
Bayer Shores
Is it water proof?
It's not waterproof. Thanks Jay!
Hello, this one or the XLF X03 ?
What you say about faster quicker at 6.25 what can i change to let it go faster
I was saying the servo is a 3 wire servo. It can be replaced with a better servo as most that come at this price point are not great. A new servo will be better and quicker (center's quickly when steering and more responsive). I hope that helps!
@@mikesrccorner ok i understand thank you
@@mussietube9909 Cheers! Have a great weekend.
@@mikesrccorner have a nice weekend mate
La pila es recargable?
Yes the battery recharges.
If this car is run with 3S battery all the time then will there be any kind of problem in the car in future

It don't look like it's going that fast You're speedometer might be off.
I own the "pocket radar" and I took this to a friends house, we ran this car on a 2s lipo and some better wheels and I clocked it at 38mph = 61km. Check out video episode 648 in my channel for that update.
