Best is to use it concentrated. I used a plastic cup and old turkey baster to remove all the toilet bowl, poured the CLR in, and scrubbed like crazy. I also wore a glove and used steel wool to scrub out everything. Works like a charm! The calcium build up was quite heavy but at least 90% was scrubbed off. Might need 2 times to get it right.
To remove water, cut a water plastic bottle and use both cuts as cups. Cut closer to the lid to use that portion to get most of the water out, then a paper towel to suck all the water. CLR after that.
We wouldn't recommend applying CLR for longer than 5 minutes at a time for the toilet bowl, but instead, repeating the process - this is to avoid damaging the surface.
We are sorry you feel this way. All our advertising materials are CAD certified to be genuine. The effectiveness of the CLR will be dependent on the embeddedness of the stain and we have a money back guarantee.
CLR uses plant derived ingredients that are EPA certified to be safer for the environment and the user. As the MSDS states, it contains Lactic acid and D-Gluconic acid.

I work offshore so I’m gone for two weeks a month, and I have hard water and every time I come home it’s stained and rusty no matter how much I clean it. So some people can’t help it

This worked in 10mins for me, but i used half a bottle and drained all the water out before use, quick scrub and bam, the yucky muck was gone
I use clr in the toilet tank as well. I was able to scrub so much rust and grime out of it.
CLR is great for cleaning cistern tanks!
Ok here it is..."it really works!!"
I use 45% vinegar overnight. Cheap and effective.
I would say leave 1 hour

@@recabitejehonadab2654 With "heavy" lime build-up you might have to repeat the process up to 5 times whilst agitating the area.
In my experience…yes

I use crl with a pumice stone
A lot of scrubbing andf elbow grease, but by gad, it works! Throw in a pumice stone for toilets (at Home Depot) and you're in business.
You might aswell use water
How can i buy this in india i need it
Unfortunately, CLR is not currently distributed in India. Apologies for the disappointment and inconvenience caused.
Can it also be poured into the overflow standpipe, to dissolve mineral buildup in the under-rim jets?
Hi Robert - We would need further information, what type of standpipe are you referring to? Please give us a call on 1800 667 765.
Did you pour some in there?
Dry underside of pan and duct tape around to block the holes and let solution sit there.
And what if it does nothing?

We are sorry you feel this way. Are you able to tell us more about your experience?
It never worked for me. How long does it have to sit?
Bruce wood floor stripper works. The fumes are bad but it works.
Hi There - Can we please ask what country you are located in?
Doesn’t work for well water stains
Sorry you feel this way, are you able to tell us more? For heavily embedded stains, we recommend repeating the process up to 5 times.
Why do you say to turn off the water supply?
This is dependent on the toilet, for some, it is the easiest way to ensure the bowl can be emptied before the CLR is poured in.
How can I be a distributor of this product.can not find it in my country (PNG).
Hi Monica, please email enquiries@clrclean.com.au to discuss further.
It didnt work for me 😞
Sorry to hear - are you able to tell us more?

The chemicals in this are so toxic, and they also stink like crazy. You must have proper ventilation or DON'T use it.

👎not good for lime build . I tried multiple times and it doesn’t work. Save your money.

Leave it overnight. Worked for me, even longer if it doesn't come off.
first step is to never let your bowl get that bad in the first place 😁
Adorable to think everyone’s toilets are brand new. You know what restoration means?
Good luck
