I am one of those two who bought this in 2015 and have not upgraded since then! Still high to ultra on everything in 2023 at 1080p. That doesn't even come close to the amount of machine learning / AI work that I've put this beast through though!

One of the best gpus ever made. Still on par with 1070 and 1660 series which is great for a card that's 7 years old now.
and this gpu is on par with rtx 2060 mobile too
980ti can still hold it's on in some of the latest games at 1080p that's pretty cool for a card 7 to 8 years old, I still have my zotac 980ti amp extreme!

I still rock a 980Ti along with an ancient 6700k and it still holds up well for most things at 1080p high. I'm hoping to build a new pc in a couble of months with 4090 this time... as you can see I upgrade about once every 8 years XD

Hello mate, i just got this GPU from someone and i don't know $hit about this kind of stuff, do i need to upgrade things on it ? Like drivers or idk
@@Roku56just download nvidia drivers type 980ti nvidia drivers and app will pop up from nvidia not at my pc right now to see the name. And I’m using msi after burner I suggest overclocking and udnervolting. Undervolt it 10% and overclock it 250-350 mhz I won the silicon “lottery” I can overclock mine up to 400-450 mhz and it stays stable but I keep it at 350mhz which they all can do
Also I play on high to ultra at 1440p getting 60-140+ on everything just depends like on gta v 80-90 fps on high to ultra 1440 p. Baulders gate 90-100 on 1440 p ultra but locked it at 60 so temps. Stay at 60-65 instead 70-77

Excellent graphic card with ryzen 5500 I made 18500 on firestrike with Gigabyte G1 980 ti overclocked at 1500 Mghz for the GPU and 2000 mghz for the RAM.
Excellent rersult in 1080 p. I think you dont need upgrade minimum +2-3 years
Hey bro, how much FPS does this card achieve on ultra preset (with TAA) in FH5? Extreme is a bit broken and it destroys performance.
I think that it should get a stable 60-75 fps with TAA. If you turn it off it should boost it. I would reccomend turning off Motion blur also for more fps.
Still have my 980Ti and it does pretty good up to 1440p on some games. got a 4k uw and still use the 980ti, it does OK but still waiting to get a decent GPU.
I can't stand my son keeps playing with my pc😂😂 so I'm going to buy this gpu for him... I'm surprised the performance is really good tbh

sweet a litty 980 ti, my 980 ti can go 1,550mhz and vram clock up to 4004mhz(2x2002mhz) and can draw up to 350w

На вопрос конечно не отвечу, но советую лучше либо взять 1660 super (она у меня стоит), либо же ОЧЕНЬ внимательно смотреть на 980 ti, ибо она довольно старая, и фиг его знает, что с ней делали эти 8 лет

I am upgrading a LGA 1155 mobo from i3 2120 and gt 640 to a i7 3770 and gtx980ti plus a 650w psu for conectors. All under $200. I hope it's good.

You'd probably be fine, cpu tends to be a limiter in higher framerates (80+) and in games where there are a lot of individual entities that it needs to control (think Civilization 6 and free-roam games like spiderman. But if your goal is 60fps I'd imagine you'd be fine. There might be sites to check for a bottleneck just to be sure. Also if the CPU is really old it can cause stutter due to low info-transfer times to the GPU itself.
It's not a bad choice! I myself now have such a processor and a video card and I'm not complaining. Good luck to you!
Nutze heute noch die 980 ti und auch in UWQHD (3440x1440) macht die gute Arbeit. Es ist die Gigabyte 980 ti G1 Gaming mit nem i7 10700kf und nichts ist übertaktet. Eine Super GPU

yes. 980 ti < 1070/1660ti
It requires less power but it's pretty much the same thing.

I seriously I have no fucking idea why that a card ALMOST 10 YEARS OLD is better then a 3050 it makes absolutely no sense to me to the point where I can’t even put a 1080ti in my build cause they still go for $500 and this card in the video (980) is still almost $300 when a 3050 I can find for $200 maybe less
