Movie was so much more true to the books. Most book to screen adaptations have some changes so I can let a few things pass. But the TV vesion completely butchered the story. The institue looked awful with all the tech. Idk just took away all the original vibes of the shadow world that is relayed in the books. And all the actors are great but i just cant picture anyone but lily and jamie as clary and jace, they did a great job in the movie. Great chemistry, acting and jamie delivers jace's witty lines perfectly!
I really disliked the movie when it came out. But I'm german and watched in my language. I never thought I would say this, but the German dub is so aweful compared to their original voices and dialogues, holy sh*t!! No wonder I disliked it do much. The voices don't resemble the acting at all! I felt so off, and I finally i got why!!
