That happens in a lot of games. If a character is standing on uneven ground, like if one foot is on a stair, rock, or object like the rito, sometimes the game will get confused about where they're standing. It tries to have both positions, and we get to witness restless leg syndrome.

One of my favorite references takes place after the final trial of the sword. When link wields the master sword in a cutscene outside, it makes the noise that fi makes when entering or exiting the blade in skyward sword. It was a nice touch imo
The Sheikah monk bit isn't really surprising since it is stated in the game that the Yiga were Sheikah whom split off a long time ago. It's actually disappointing the other Sheikah you can interact with (Impa especially) don't react this way even if you can't actually fight them. The best detail you missed, however, is that if you let the monk actually eat a banana, he'll regain a little health

One of my favorites is sitting back and just watching enemies from a distance OR interacting with a certain species while wearing their mask. I sat way off in the distance once and watched bokoblins on horseback chase and kill an ox and take the meat. Another time, while I was wearing the lizalfos mask, I broke a crate in front of a lizalfos and a bunch of cooked meats fell out of it and it got mad at me and immediately started eating everything it could before I could take it. You can also feed them!
some small secrets that i found and really enjoyed: if you go on hebra mountain on a clear night, you can see northern lights, which is really pretty. you can even see rainbows sometimes after it's rained (i actually saw a double rainbow outisde of hateno the other day, i took a screenshot right as it was fading) you can feed the cows and goats at the stables (they eat greens, fruit, veggies and mushrooms) but they don't give you anything unfortunately (it would have been a cool easter egg if the cows gave you milk tho) one of the royal recipes in the hyrule castle library may be a reference to spirit tracks. the "chancelor's favourite" is the monster cake, which might refer to chancelor cole, one of the antagonists in sp. he's literally a monster, and he even has two horns which he hides with two top hats (and the monster cake looks like a cupcake with horns) sometimes when you jump while shield surfing, you can hear link laughing (something like "hahaha!") and if you turn the camera to the front, you can see him actually smiling when doing it (compared to the usual blank slate face)

I'm a new Zelda fan, breath of the wild is the game that got me into the series. Nothing makes me more sad, than the thought that Robin Williams never got to play this game. I can't help but think it would have been, everything he'd ever dreamed from the series.

It it amazing that they immortalised Satoru iwata. I've read that he took a paycut to keep all of his employees once the ds lite didn't sell as well as expected.
The yiga and sheikah (however you spell it) are very similar not really as an Easter egg but because they used to be the same tribe. Sheikah tribe is obsessed with bananas and yiga are too because they are just sheikah members who left the tribe.
This isn't really an Easter egg, but you have to catch it because I think it's mentioned as something you can eat if your really in a pinch. You can cook wood an eat it. It comes out as dubious hard food and will only give you a quarter of a heart. I found out watching videos of trial of the sword as I'm in the final trials now. Some people have used this to try to give them a little edge.
There is a really cool mount called, ‘The Lord of the Mountain.’ And although you cannot register this mount, it spawns next to a cherry blossom tree, if you take a picture of the tree or the mount itself the decription will tell you about a priest that watches over the forest creatures. This is an easter egg to one of the developers that passed away during the making of the game

The Sheikah monk bit isn't really surprising since it is stated in the game that the Yiga were Sheikah whom split off a long time ago. It's actually disappointing the other Sheikah you can interact with (Impa especially) don't react this way even if you can't actually fight them. The best detail you missed, however, is that if you let the monk actually eat a banana, he'll regain a little health

One of my favorites is sitting back and just watching enemies from a distance OR interacting with a certain species while wearing their mask. I sat way off in the distance once and watched bokoblins on horseback chase and kill an ox and take the meat. Another time, while I was wearing the lizalfos mask, I broke a crate in front of a lizalfos and a bunch of cooked meats fell out of it and it got mad at me and immediately started eating everything it could before I could take it. You can also feed them!

some small secrets that i found and really enjoyed:
if you go on hebra mountain on a clear night, you can see northern lights, which is really pretty. you can even see rainbows sometimes after it's rained (i actually saw a double rainbow outisde of hateno the other day, i took a screenshot right as it was fading)
you can feed the cows and goats at the stables (they eat greens, fruit, veggies and mushrooms) but they don't give you anything unfortunately (it would have been a cool easter egg if the cows gave you milk tho)
one of the royal recipes in the hyrule castle library may be a reference to spirit tracks. the "chancelor's favourite" is the monster cake, which might refer to chancelor cole, one of the antagonists in sp. he's literally a monster, and he even has two horns which he hides with two top hats (and the monster cake looks like a cupcake with horns)
sometimes when you jump while shield surfing, you can hear link laughing (something like "hahaha!") and if you turn the camera to the front, you can see him actually smiling when doing it (compared to the usual blank slate face)

The yiga and sheikah (however you spell it) are very similar not really as an Easter egg but because they used to be the same tribe. Sheikah tribe is obsessed with bananas and yiga are too because they are just sheikah members who left the tribe.

This isn't really an Easter egg, but you have to catch it because I think it's mentioned as something you can eat if your really in a pinch. You can cook wood an eat it. It comes out as dubious hard food and will only give you a quarter of a heart. I found out watching videos of trial of the sword as I'm in the final trials now. Some people have used this to try to give them a little edge.

There is a really cool mount called, ‘The Lord of the Mountain.’ And although you cannot register this mount, it spawns next to a cherry blossom tree, if you take a picture of the tree or the mount itself the decription will tell you about a priest that watches over the forest creatures. This is an easter egg to one of the developers that passed away during the making of the game
