Thank god a newer video on TS4.. Please reply man. My brother just got the game and it is stuck on the tutorial. He can’t figure out how to operate the steam trains. Also I want to unlock this route specifically too. But, he can only spawn at the training center?! Is there a fix to this?
I never operated any steam trains yet I've only done diesel and electric trains so I will not be able to help with that. This is a paid DLC if you have this route in any of the previous games then it is free otherwise and you just have to download it. I forgot how much this route cost. In terms of the tutorials I ended up skipping most of them. I believe all you have to do is go into the main menu once you done the very first tutorial and then I think somewhere in the settings you can turn off the feature that automatically puts you in the tutorial or automatically say "continue journey" which may be what throws you into the tutorial. Hopefully this helps.
I may have gotten that information wrong with the settings. I think that may have just been a TSW2 thing for me. I logged on just now to check the settings, and of all the ones I looked through, I am not sure what would be causing the issue you are having to happen.
They still didn’t update the route with the csx and Ns geep38’s once again with no scenario/timetable just static freight and locos not available repackage with a bundle. Absolutely ridiculous. I love the route but sick of the DTG practices.
I agree. I will say this route is ok in my book but I totally agree with you. In terms of DTG practices I agree seems like they rather just release half finished products like New York to Trenton or make bad route choices like picking the Metrolink AV line for my hometown route.

It is usually always a hit or miss in terms of scenery. They didn't do the best with my hometown route as well.
