I'm at the same stage as you. But at your speed, you'll quickly be way ahead of me. Can't be 100% sure, but I think you have the rudder cables crossed right behind the cable box, e.g. between ribs 2 and 3. If so, makes the angles a little more severe than they need to be. The build manual has the crossover between ribs 3 and 4.
Just saw a video of JR Aviation with a cirrus. His airplane was out of service for more than a year waiting on parts for parachute repacking. Maybe the sling is better with that but cost him almost 25000 for the repack
@@TheBaldPilot I got a question . If you have a Cirrus do you have to have it repacked with any particular company? I understand there are several companies that make and service parachutes
@MooneyPilot Probably just INOP it. I'm not sure at this point. Will know more when I get to that point in the build and go through the conditions inspection.
@@TheBaldPilot I certainly don’t know for sure but can’t believe JRAviation would have kept he cirrus down if he could have just inoperative the parachute. It was down a year I think waiting for parts
Just a quick pro-tip... putting the insulation on the bottom of the luggage area after it's installed is a super pain in the butt. :D Don't ask me how I know...
super fast as always! But I think you got the rudder cable wrong. The cable should run on the inside and the spring will be on the outside.
Oh yes. You are correct. Good catch! Thank you!

You are correct. I do have them crossed. I also pinned this at the top of the comments. Thanks for letting me know.
Carpet the luggage extension now before you join the sections (if you have the carpet). That’s what I did and was happy to have that off the list.
Good tip! Thanks!

Anything with the C word on it is ridiculously expensive! My chute will cost less than $10K and I can get it repacked for a few grand.

@@berniebrown9115 I'm not sure what the requirements are with Cirrus.

Good tip and I did consider that. So I did install the foam on the underside before I install the extension.
