Allie, I just came from Nikkia Joy's latest video and she adores you. She did your concept of Full Face of Nothing New. 😀 (But you probably already knew that...😂)
Great video, Stephanie! We are the same age so I love watching your videos. The toughest thing for me is the creasing under the eye so I barely ever use powder. I’m excited to try the powder trick with the sponge.
The last tip you gave about setting powder was a game changer for me. I was always afraid of looking too powdery but it totally toned down my blush which I always over use. Thank you thank you 😊
Setting powder with a damp sponge was a huge tip for me. Dusting powder always made my dry skin itch. Using a damp sponge looks more natural and takes away the itching sensation. Thanks for the tip!
Great tips!! I love pressing powder in with a sponge - especially under the eyes I think it’s made a huge difference in terms of longevity and smoothness. Thanks Stephanie! ❤️
I love all your makeup tips so much! I live in a tropical country and I also have oily skin so I'm really looking for techniques to make my makeup last through the heat, sweat and oils. Thank you for these!
When I saw your prior video of setting powder with a damp sponge I tried it and was amazed at how good it looked. Bonus if you need your makeup to really last and use a setting powder spray for this! I also found that some powders worked well using this technique (KGD, Hourglass, By Terry) while others applied weirdly patchy (I'm looking at you, La Mer!)
Hi, very informative. Can you please recommend a Sigma finishing powder brush. I prefer synthetic fibers. That’s one step I have been missing from my routine. I was always worried that was going to be covering up all the makeup I applied.
Loved this Stephanie! I apply powder with a damp sponge many days bc of you! Yes! The Lipliner did make a big difference! Omg yes the finishing powder!!! Game changer! Great tips girl!!!🤗🤗🤗
Great video, thanks for sharing your tips, I thought I was the only one that still combed their lashes, it really helps separate them I have strait lashes too and it's annoying, I watched Allies video and she had some really good tips as well. Thanks again for sharing your amazing tips ❤❤❤
I am so glad to find a make up channel with someone close to my age, most make up channels, they are fetuses and so the make up glides on like a dream because they have no lines or pores!! I am so happy I found this channel. This video is so helpful because I do have redness on the outer corner of my eyes.
Hi Stephanie, you are so helpful with your foundation match video. I never liked the color the SA at Saks picked for me because it was too warm. So I picked up natural which is the right match for me. I am referring to the TF stick foundation. As for powder, I will have to try your tips. I’m fifteen years older than you with dry skin so we’ll see if it doesn’t age me.
I ALWAYS apply one layer of the Maybelline Lash Discovery waterproof prior to any other mascara. I've been doing this for years and it's the only way I can get my lashes to hold a curl. Great video!
I always wear an under eye corrector too as I have really bad dark circles. I've also recently started to press finishing powder in with a dam sponge, which is a tip I got from you. I miss your Livestreams btw.
I purchased the colorscience 3 in1 from your recommendation. LOVE it. It's the only thing that actually makes a difference for me. I don't bother with concealer since I usually do super light makeup here in FL. And another thanks for the fleur de vie Smooth Operator recommendation too!
I’m going to try your mascara tips since mine are kind of sparse and straight too. I love using a sponge for powder and also lightly fill in my lips with liner...I need all the help I can get to achieve fuller-looking lips lol. Thanks for sharing Stephanie 💜
Hi Stephanie, just wwntes to say how much I enjoyed this video and how fab I found your tips, you look positively radiant and sooo good! Im going to defiantely try an under eye corrector for sure as mine are terribly dark due to ill health and alot of meds I take every day and like you their very dry and unlike you I have crepiness and fine lines, really getting me down, im only 44 and feel like I look about 60! When you say about a finishing powder, is that different to a setting powder then? Think your great, a real inspiration xx
The shortest and best video on color correctors is by Alexandre Anele. After watching so many over the years, I found this one a few weeks ago. It’s just titled color correctors. I was just doing the “one shade lighter” rule. But she discusses how under eye circles are usually cool toned colors, and you need to put the warmth back in. It seriously changed my game. I’m fair- medium, and I use a light orangish corrector I thought I’d never use. Just tapping it in with my fingers works. Sometimes, I’ll go in with a brightening concealer, but not always.
Thanks to your suggestions I have survived a 91 degree day outside bbq and my make up is perfect! I was so afraid of powder on my mature skin but your technique works beautifully! So glad I stumbled upon your videos!!!
Yay! I'm so glad it helped you! If you haven't seen my recent video on long wearing, sweat proof makeup, that will help you for days like that too! Thank you! 😘
Love this. You keep me drinking more coffee and just hanging out with you ! I love Allie ! You too. Thanks again for making my day ! Kisses. Happy Fourth
Thanks for the refreshing bare faced introduction! Always in for tips but I hate sponges so much, that's the only tip I will skip on... Love your lash comb, classy!
Haha I was just going to ask if the sponge is damp or dry. It seems counterintuitive to press a damp sponge into powder somehow... Also wanted to thank you for the lashes tip. My sparse straight lashes actually hold a slight curl throughout the day. Nothing short of amazing!
Hi Stephanie ..Happy Friday .. So glad to have found your Chanel 🙌& it's great the stuff you mention can be £ in UK. Could I ask a quick question as I don't wear foundation/tinted moisturiser .If I just wanted a powder is it finishing or setting ?Should I be looking at by Terry tinted?or something similar (skin combination)Appreciate reply if you get a min 😘xHave a good weekend
It really depends on your eye shape and depth. My eyes prefer this one from Shiseido: bit.ly/3e1F9GC or Surratt: bit.ly/3e4Bsjk I give a slight edge to the Shiseido. Risa likes them also but gives the edge to Surratt. LOL! Curlers are so individual. I found that the Shu (that so many love) digs into my outer corners while not reaching my middle lashes...there's too much of a curve to it. 💗
What about mascara smudging on the skin by my eyebrow??? My eyelashes are too curled and touch my eyebrow and smudge mascara up there and I've tried waterproof mascara but still doesn't work? Suggestions please????
Loved the video. Do you happen to know can waterproof mascara cause your eyelashes to fall out? I'm having this issue and was wondering if this was the reason.
I've had that happen with drying formulas or when I apply them too close to the base of the lashes. Also, be sure you're removing your mascara thoroughly at night! :)
In the first part of the video, you did setting powder with a sponge and at the end you used a brush. Do you do both at the end of the routine or do you do it with the sponge before foundation?
Love these tips! I will not be without the Colorscience Total Eye serum. It is truly the best eye protection, correction, anti-aging, hydrating product ever. I love that you mention pressing in your setting powder. Please try the Real Techniques POWDER sponge. It is awesome for this purpose. Love your videos! Happy July 4th 🧨
Do you use powder to set the concealer immediately or let the concealer sit there for a minute before putting powder on? I have very dry under eye and I've tried your tip but my concealer still creases, even if I only use very little corrector and concealer under my eye... I take good care of my skin every day...
Hi Selina! I don't usually let it sit too long b/c then I have to press out creases. :) Have you seen this video from my concealer playlist? It may help! bit.ly/38pE6is
Hi Stephanie, I love your channel! Just purchased the Charlotte Tilbury corrector based on your recommendation and think it’s great. Could you please confirm if you use a primer under your corrector ahead of concealing? If so do you use a specific under eye primer or apply your regular face primer under eyes? Many thanks x
I only let my eye cream sink in. I don't like primer as it seems to take away the hydration from my moisturizer that I need and it's one more layer. Less layers are better under the eye. For me: moisturizer-corrector-concealer-set. Hope that helps! 😘
I think you look better at the start of the video. Nothing at all wrong with your makeup, in fact it’s really lovely. I just think you look beautiful without it. Just my personal preference. Thanks for the tips too, I really like your channel :)
Girl, you look 17 without makeup! My undereye dark circles are in that annoying darkish purple hue. I’ve used Mac concealer for years. You’ve inspired me to curl my lashes again. Forgot about that step!
I am definitely going to try applying powder with a sponge. Especially under my eyes. I think that is going to be amazing!! This video is so helpful! You have absolutely beautiful skin. You look phenomenal with no makeup on! Happy 4th of July!!
You’re the expert I look to for under eye corrector. Are there certain concealers that work better (or don’t work as well) over cream corrector, and do you use your fingers, brush or sponge for the concealer? Sometimes I’m finding products I try and tap in with a damp sponge lift off the underneath cream products. I’ve been experimenting with the gripping primer and can’t decide if a sponge just removes the foundation!! :)
Hey Stephanie :-)) I never use lipliner cos i have very thin lips. I went out yesterday and bought a Maybelline lipliner and it has changed my lips like wow. I filled in the whole lips and my lipstick and i tell you it did not move. oxoxox
I had the same problem with my eyelashes going straight. I bought a heated eyelash curler from Amazon, and now I can wear any mascara, and my lashes stay curled.
*🔥Hey guys! I totally forgot to say that the sponge is usually damp! So sorry! 🔥*

😊🌷🌺😍🌷☺💮🏵💐🌝🌷🌳☺
Does it need to be loose powder?
I was just wondering that very thing!! Great tips, as usual 😘
I’m SO glad you did this video!!! I loved watching it!! All of your tips were amazing and so helpful!! 😍
Allie Glines Yay!! Thank you my friend! I just loved and was inspired by yours so much! ❤️

Finishing powder was a huge find for me. It is really amazing how it puts everything together. Thanks 😊
The last tip you gave about setting powder was a game changer for me. I was always afraid of looking too powdery but it totally toned down my blush which I always over use. Thank you thank you 😊
Love the tip about the sponge! It works. ❤️

Very interesting tips Stephanie. I would like to know if you are using the sponge for powder wet or dry ❤
I started to apply finishing powder after I watched one of your videos and I love the blurry effect in my skin, thanks for the tip
When I saw your prior video of setting powder with a damp sponge I tried it and was amazed at how good it looked. Bonus if you need your makeup to really last and use a setting powder spray for this! Hi, very informative. Can you please recommend a Sigma finishing powder brush. I prefer synthetic fibers. That’s one step I have been missing from my routine. I was always worried that was going to be covering up all the makeup I applied.
Great tips. I think Finishing powder is the key to a polished and blended look. I use guerlain meteorites powder as my final step.
That's a wonderful powder! 💗
Loved this Stephanie! I apply powder with a damp sponge many days bc of you! Yes! The Lipliner did make a big difference! Omg yes the finishing powder!!! Game changer! Great tips girl!!!🤗🤗🤗
Great tips will be trying the sponge application for sure! Loved the entertainment from your cat during the video 🤣❤ x

When you pressed the powder in with the sponge did you use a dry or damp sponge??
Oh I see now damp ! Tx
you are amazing, and so real...just love the simplistic, yet beautiful look everytime!
I KNEW you were going to use an Urban Decay lip liner. I bought 2 more yesterday. Your suggestions are always spot on!
Haha!! Thank you! 😘
Thank you so very much for sharing your foundation and concealer matches. It has saved me some trial and error!!!
So helpful and will have to try some of them, thanks!!
I always wear an under eye corrector too as I have really bad dark circles.
I've also recently started to press finishing powder in with a dam sponge, which is a tip I got from you.

Holy moly stephanie you are looking soooo beautiful lately! Your skin is perfection without makeup! Thank you so much I live for your tips!

very pretty - natural looking do you use the loose powder under the foundation
I use it when I need my makeup to be sweat proof or heat proof as I’m this video: ruclips.net/video/akcPxVZgdKs/видео.html Thank you! 😘
Great tips! What brush did you use to apply the finishing powder?
Hi Leslie! I have all the products listed in the description box. Thank you!
I love the tarte eye corrector..
What gloss or product did you layer over your lip liner? It makes your lips look amazing!!
All the products I use in the video and on my face are listed in the description box. Thank you! 😘

Hi Steph! Would you please recommend a water proof mascara? I have curly eyelashes but the water eye mascara transfers a lot! Thank you!

Super good tips. Thank you for sharing
Gorgeous
So that sigma undereye brush is only used to brush excess setting powder away?
I wondered too!
For this purpose, yes. But overall, it has multiple purposes. I talk about it here: ruclips.net/video/KHkKKHfRrsA/видео.html
Hi Stephanie, just wwntes to say how much I enjoyed this video and how fab I found your tips, you look positively radiant and sooo good! Hi Jo! Here is a video that explains the difference! ruclips.net/video/LM_hDaP6UVY/видео.html Thank you! 😘
Great tips Stephanie!! 👏👏👏. Thank you
Very informative video, thank you. What color corrector did you use...Fair? or Medium? should you choose a shade lighter than your skin of the same?
I can't recall offhand but I think I listed both shades in the description box! :) I'll be doing a video soon on correctors as well. :)

The powder application you are doing has been a game changer for me! I’m 63 and I can’t believe the difference!!
Awesome! So glad you love it too! 😘
Can you explain why she does it twice?
Morning!
Pausing as I watch. Is the sponge still damp when you add the powder?
I just pinned a comment bc I spaced and forgot to specify. So sorry! Usually! But if I’m in a hurry I’ve used a dry one. 😘

Very helpful video! Thanks! One question regarding the eyelashes...do you not use an eyelash curler? Or did you just skip showing that step on camera?
Yes I always use an eyelash curler since my lashes are straight. Thank you Patty! 😘
I love using the real techniques miracle powder sponge dry to press in my powder
Do you apply powder with the sponge wet or dry?
Damp usually. Dry if I’m lazy! 😜

Since this virus I haven’t been able to watch you , some how I’ve missed your video, thanks for the powder tip . Keep staying safe.
Stephanie, do you have a recommendation for an eyelash curler for hooded eyes? Drugstore or high end is ok. Thanks!
It really depends on your eye shape and depth. My eyes prefer this one from Shiseido: bit.ly/3e1F9GC or Surratt: bit.ly/3e4Bsjk I give a slight edge to the Shiseido. MAC MSFN :)

To clarify, does this technique of sponge powder application work for pressed powder for under eyes too? Or mainly for loose powder?
I would love to know what kind of comb you used for your lashes? Where did you get it?
The one product I forgot to list! 🤦🏼♀️ Just added it AND it’s on sale! 👍🏼😘

Which is the Lancôme powder? The link does work maybe because I am in NZ.
That's probably why. Long time no shine. :)
