Although I understand where you're coming from, I wouldn't call her a psychopath. The questionable things that she does seem to be more out of fear and a perceived necessity rather than actual malice. She's a hardened warrior who went through a lot of tough times to get to where she is now and just doesn't want to lose all her progress. She clearly cares about her candy people, along with those who are part of her small circle of friends (Finn, Jake, Lady, etc.), she just doesn't go about protecting them in the right way.

She clearly cares about her people and her friends, but goes to extreme lengths to help them. If you're looking for an actual sociopath, look no further than King of Ooo who is very much an anti-PB and everything you guys accuse her of. He neglected the Candy People and only saw his status as ruler as the people serving him, rather than him serving his people. Even though PB does some messed up stuff sometimes, she does genuinely try to help others and it is possible to reason with her.
And gentlemen just incase you do fhen don't doubt finn because of his fight with he is strong he can beat Goku and Zeno from dragon ball as an example (And yes I wrote this to see the angry responses of my fellow dragon ball fans).
