Thanks so much. I bought one of these a few years ago, and never used it, although a couple of contractors working on my property did. I got it out today, and thought it was defective because it wouldn't stay locked. LOL. Now I know that the extra rungs stay closed at the top, not the bottom, and the ladder is perfect for my patio winterizing project!
This is a quote from Harbor Freight's website: "The innovative telescoping ladder extends to 10 ft. for up to 14 ft. of reach." When they say it is a 14 foot ladder, that means when a average height person stands on the highest, safe rung, they should be able to REACH to a height of 14 feet. Misleading, yep, but all ladder manufactures do the same thing.
Thank you for the review! For storage reasons I need a telescoping ladder, but I was concerned it might not be very stable. Great to to see it is! I will definitely purchase it.
Thank you for your review. I was considering this ladder hoping it would work for me and you helped me make my decision. Being a woman I have to have something that I can handle and carry on my own and this looks like it is just the ladder for me. Your detail is very much appreciated.
C Bob White is correct, all ladder manuf. give the height, with a person on the highest, SAFEST rung of the ladder. I'm guessing that the ladder manuf. are using the average person being 5'-10" tall, standing on the highest SAFE rung (step). Also, Harbor Freight states that the height of the ladder (NOT the reach) is 10.75ft = or 10ft 9in. Good review, Erick...
Great price but I'm disappointed in the misleading extendable height. I bought it to get on roofs. I'll try it on a single story home. Hopefully that works.
Be careful with these style telescoping ladders. I have been looking for a ladder for my job and I’d love something this small and compact, but SO MANY reviews online for multiple brands all have people saying the ladders have collapsed and failed, putting them in the hospital. Ladders put more people in the emergency room or kill them than any power tools, nail guns, etc. Ladders are shockingly dangerous. Be careful out there. After all my research I decided on a Little Giant ladder, which is a different style ladder. They are compact for everything they do, but not as compact as this. I have no affiliation with Little Giant. There are several other brands that have copied the Little Giant brand. Home Depot has one called Gorilla brand. Harbor Freight has their Franklin version. They are all very similar. The Harbor Freight is the cheapest. Little Giant at Costco is $200, but on sale often for $150. I paid $150 (in 2022). Gorilla at Home Depot is about $180, but I’ve heard they go on sale occasionally for $99. That is a steal. The Harbor Freight one is about $140, but goes on sale or you can get a coupon for $109. TRUST ME… that Little Giant style ladder is MUCH safer and you can use it MANY more ways. Specifically, in a A frame option, so you don’t have to lean it against anything.
U seem almost afraid of the camera lol so robotic and novice 😆😆😆 I’m not saying a whole lot.. my editing isn’t the best, and I tend to forget stuff on camera 😆

Super helpful! Directions were tossed and I needed help getting it open. I started pulling from the top and no luck. Thank you! Saved the day!

Thanks for the review. Everyday all day use probably not but for occasional, convenient and compact I'd give it a thumbs up.

Thank you for this review. I just got the ladder for my RV and was wondering about the set up. Thanks again.
I took mine back. Was too short for RV. It only goes to about 11 feet. It is NOT 14 feet!!
Covered the key points pretty well.
Thanks for the review!
Great review !
Nice demo. Just saw this ladder on line and thought I look into it. Keep up the good work. 👍 🦏🍻🦏
When I use ladders I prefer 90 degree angles for them, that way I can be close to the wall.
