Harbor Freight - Bauer 20v Hypermax Lithium-Ion Cordless Heat Gun Unboxing & Quick Review
Thanks so much. I bought one of these a few years ago, and never used it, although a couple of contractors working on my property did. I got it out today, and thought it was defective because it wouldn't stay locked. LOL. Now I know that the extra rungs stay closed at the top, not the bottom, and the ladder is perfect for my patio winterizing project!
Is it light?
It’s not the instructions that you were describing
I like that longer fold out tongue extension to secure larger objects, but not liking that wobbly transforming mechanism compared to the captive gliding mechanism in the Cosco 4-in-1. Also, the Cosco is currently $160 compared to this one at $200.
Hi, my friend, l have looked at your video; I have purchased the telescopic ladder, and I wish I look at your video first before I purchase the telescopic ladder 🪜, were can order the xtend and climb, I live in London and I need around 15'5, 16' 00, please let me know if you can
How would this compare to cosco
Thank you for the review! For storage reasons I need a telescoping ladder, but I was concerned it might not be very stable. Great to to see it is! I will definitely purchase it.
I weigh about 225 would it work
Harbor Freight had this Franklin next to the Cosco 3-in-1 (same as Cosco 4-in-1 except bottom plate swivels) The Franklin uses metal handles and locks where the Cosco is plastic. The Franklin handle is higher than the Cosco. I’m 5’-8” and i had to bend down slightly to use the Cosco in the diagonal mode. The Franklin was a more comfortable height in the same mode. Finally, the Franklin has 10” wheels vs 7-8” on the Cosco. Overall quality is as good if not better than the Cosco. Price is the higher though. The Franklin was $30 more at $199
After looking at both options, I'd have to say Cosco is the better version. More sturdy!!!
Спасибо , хороший обзор , видно все особенности конструкции.👍👍👍👍👍
Maybe you could telescope the silver and black tubes to make it get longer in low 4 wheel cart .
Super helpful! Directions were tossed and I needed help getting it open. I started pulling from the top and no luck. Thank you! Saved the day!
Good reminder. Saw you the first time, reason I bought. Now had to look it up again. Thanks again. Lifesaver
Good review. The only thing I wish it had was a longer handle. Magliners has one that when attached makes top of handle 68 inches from ground to top of handle, which to me is very important.
Could this be used to move a 600lb safe?
I'm sure it could
Great review !
Nice demo. Just saw this ladder on line and thought I look into it. Keep up the good work. 👍 🦏🍻🦏
How easy is it to get the move 3 while something is loaded? Looks very difficult if you have a large object on and need to convert to mode 3
I never thought I'd sit there one day and actually watch paint dry bruh LOL
cual es su precio y como se puede enviar para México acá en Guadalajara gracias
How does it do on steps like entry way steps from outside to inside a home
Cut the piece off and reinstall it with a piano hinge with a stop block for it to rest on when you flip down to us as a normal truck/dolley.
Be careful with these style telescoping ladders. I have been looking for a ladder for my job and I’d love something this small and compact, but SO MANY reviews online for multiple brands all have people saying the ladders have collapsed and failed, putting them in the hospital. Ladders put more people in the emergency room or kill them than any power tools, nail guns, etc. Ladders are shockingly dangerous. Be careful out there. After all my research I decided on a Little Giant ladder, which is a different style ladder. They are compact for everything they do, but not as compact as this. I have no affiliation with Little Giant. There are several other brands that have copied the Little Giant brand. Home Depot has one called Gorilla brand. Harbor Freight has their Franklin version. They are all very similar. The Harbor Freight is the cheapest. Little Giant at Costco is $200, but on sale often for $150. I paid $150 (in 2022). Gorilla at Home Depot is about $180, but I’ve heard they go on sale occasionally for $99. That is a steal. The Harbor Freight one is about $140, but goes on sale or you can get a coupon for $109. TRUST ME… that Little Giant style ladder is MUCH safer and you can use it MANY more ways. Specifically, in a A frame option, so you don’t have to lean it against anything.
That ain't no 14ft
Thank you so much for the review!!
Very well explained and edited. Thanks for taking the time to upload this!
Great price but I'm disappointed in the misleading extendable height. I bought it to get on roofs. I'll try it on a single story home. Hopefully that works.
No.. you don’t take the bottom plate off.
Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the review!
I am not sure all telescoping ladders have similar designs or construction but if you own a telescoping ladder, get rid of it. They seem pretty safe and there are many good reviews on here and Amazon but this thing is extremely dangerous. The plastic seals that prevent the ladder from collapsing in on itself become detached and block the pins from engaging that lock the ladder runs in place. I am an older man and the fall would have killed me. Fortunately, I caught myself and hung on until my son could rescue me with another ladder. I know this ladder is very popular on Amazon but they are a death trap! Get rid of it. Once again, these are extremely dangerous. I have contacted the US Federal Product Safety Commission to issue a recall.
How much is it?
They should make the bottom plate foldable to be used as #5 and also to save space and easier to transport in a small car.
You talk too much

What is the price of 14 feet length telescope ladder and How can and where is I purchased
I need one.
পাওয়া যাবে কোথায়?
The base has holes in it, so for pipe or trim strips it would probably work fine.
His voice, sounds like he doesnt trust this heat gun. Im gonna look for another brand.
U seem almost afraid of the camera lol so robotic and novice 😆😆😆 I’m not saying a whole lot.. my editing isn’t the best, and I tend to forget stuff on camera 😆
When I use ladders I prefer 90 degree angles for them, that way I can be close to the wall.
Thank you for the review, I’m going to get this ladder now.
Covered the key points pretty well.
Such a thorough review, helped me decide, bless you !!!
I love harbor freight but have bad luck with there tools. Do they offer warranty on all their products?
Thank you! Peace
Ronald Phelps... I was wondering about that bottom plate. If you were to remove it, then what would hold the 2 main rails in the right position??? The rails would be able to bow in or out as they wanted... best leave the plate on, or make another bracket to take it's place.. Cheers!!!
Does it lock in place when you covert it to mode 4 as a full 4 wheel dolly?
Thank you for this review. I just got the ladder for my RV and was wondering about the set up. Thanks again.
I took mine back. Was too short for RV. It only goes to about 11 feet. It is NOT 14 feet!!
