Thanks for your content! I'd been on the fence for Arkham LCG for a while and your videos pushed me over the edge to order a Revised Core set yesterday. I'm also ordered Murder at the Excelsior Hotel to tide me over while I wait for other things to be republished in the two-box format.
I am glad the Marvel Champions format made them realize how stupid a box with no insert is for their card games. The bag is also a really nice plus! Will definitely get this even if I already own the original set.
I was gifted the old core set by a friend. My wife and I have played the absolute life out of it and I even ended up buying murder at the excelsior hotel and the Edge of Earth expansion set. We really want to play with more people so I'm looking at a second core set but maybe I should just buy this instead? It's not that much more money, gives me updated and even more cards, and a way better storage solution. What do you guys think?
I have to mention that the tray in this is an actual improvement of the previous MC one due to the absence of those annoying and awkward grooves too large for normal dividers and where cards always catch, a case of simpler is better. Finally a perfectly functional insert.
Great video. It's nice to have a tray and a bag. What luxury! Has the Rules Reference been updated and expanded given the material that has been released in the time since the first revision? I guess this is what you might have in a side-by-side video...
Just bought the game off of Amazon, sealed. It arrived and after excitedly unboxing it and popping out all of the counters, I checked the decks. I had two copies of the gathering 😭 and am missing one of the other scenarios in its place.
I do not understand how to organize the cards from multiple expansions. Should I put all of my Class cards together? Is it best to keep skills, assets, and events organized by expansion or can I have a master skill (for example) lump of cards? Do the scenario cards (acts and agendas) ever change? Or can I make them a tidy bundle? I’m just starting and have more money than sense, apparently, because I have a lot of cards to plough through. I am a menace to myself, I swear!
First, thanks for the content. like your style :). second, do the pre made decks include the potential upgrades like the character packs did? Or do you use the pack of extra cards you showed?
…with all the Core Box Investigators being given new portrait art makeovers, what about Lita? If yes, is she happy? If not, does she feel neglected? Or is she just thankful to be left well alone (given the teenager Roland art) so she can get on with burning down the houses of all those cultists?
I put off buying the original core for the longest time because of the pricing model but decided to give it a go anyways. I bought it, the first expansion box, and the first mythos pack for that cycle, and then they announced this new model. I mean, thanks but... You know, ugh
I think you really can't go wrong. Pick one of the big box expansions that sounds interesting story wise to you. Then if you like the theme/story keep picking up the continuation mythos packs.
Everything's fine except for the new investigators' art. I'd rather keep the old ones, the new art doesn't have that noir vibe anymore. It's too 'clean' and modern.
Already own it so no thanks FFG. You won’t be getting any cash grab from me. They do this with every game now. It’s either revised, reimplement, 2nd, 3rd Ed. Why? Because they know suckers who’ve already spent $100’s will buy it again.
Yes please to the new and old core set comparison (when the stars are right).
By your command! :D
Second that. Bring the sexy Lisa back!)

Welcome to the game! Those sound like great choices to get you started. Let us know how you get on.
I bought the game a couple months ago and my only problem with it were the problems that this revised core set fixes!!
just got into this game a couple months ago.. this channel is a Godsend
Thank you so much. We are so glad we can help.
Yes, but *which* god, and how do we appease its appetite?
@@markbaker465 one of the ancient ones, and in the old way of course!

Did you check out our side by side comparison video?

thank you for the video! it is just what everyone needs.
Awww, thank you!

That's a really good point. Well spotted!
I know, right? the grooves would have made sense if they had included any dividers at the very least ahaha

It hasn't! The five bits or errata from the FAQ are there but nothing else :o Definitely look for our comparison video.

Awwww, thank you! All your upgrades must come from the big block of extra player cards.
Looks like that new insert is to shallow for ffg sleeves. And looks like we can't use the divider from "Return to..." box. That's weird.
Where do I get one of those stylish Arkham Chronicle Chaos Bags? I checked the “official” AC Store but none were in stock.
There is an Arkham Chronicle Store? Link please!
Here is how we made our custom Chaos Bag

She now has her portrait in the campaign guide! We hope it doesn't go to her head. :)
Have I been spending too long in the presence of the Yith, or did that take rather longer than 60 seconds?
It's all relative...
Thanks for the video ! I am surprised you dont the difference in terms of cards design at least. Maybe another time.
We did say, if you want a "spot the difference" video just ask.
@@ArkhamChronicle Sorry I didnt hear that :). So yes I would like a "spot the difference video".

Ha ha ha! Have a hug! :)
Has FFG mentioned if the monthly blister packs along with the return to boxes would be re printed in this fashion?
The campaigns are moving to Edge of the Earth style. The Return to boxes should still be separate.
Great vido
Thank yo
@@ArkhamChronicle Yo Welcom
I'd like to see what the different cards are in this new set.
You wish is our command! We will start working on a "spot the difference" video.
No Lita under the insert? :(
Nothing under the insert! Keep your spare sleeves there.
Have the three scenarios gone unchanged or have they done adjustments to them?
From the FFG article, "rules are the same, the campaign is the same, the experience is the same."
A few pictures are different but that looks like it.
Just ordered this! Looking to get into this game, what expansions do you recommend to a beginner like me?
I think you really can't go wrong. Pick one of the big box expansions that sounds interesting story wise to you. Then if you like the theme/story keep picking up the continuation mythos packs.
Just buy and play the base game first. Make sure you like it before spending any more money.
Can the cards fit if they are sleeved?
Yes
Technically yes.
is 1 enough?
For you? Sure. For now... ;)
@@ArkhamChronicle the old one didn't you want more than one for deck creation?
@@starrius A second original release core set gave you the flexibility to have any combination of investigator pairs.
if i could just swap the old core set to the new one :(
Just sell your old copy and put the money toward a new one! :)
Everything's fine except for the new investigators' art. I'd rather keep the old ones, the new art doesn't have that noir vibe anymore. It's too 'clean' and modern.
That's a great way of putting it!
Side by side pls!

But how will he get into the shrink wrap? :)

so basically pointless to buy and just squeeze more money from the players got it :)
Exactly. You are fine with what you have.
That’s it. The latest FFG business model, revise and cash grab.
not pointless at all. Very good for news players such as me.
There is nothing under the tray - lol. Nice.
We like to be thorough :)
