I was so impressed with the J27’s new (old) LNER livery, I immediately bought one the same from ROS.
It’s handy that most NYMR locos are available RTR (different running numbers but I don’t care).

I was too tired for day 2 plus looking at weather also didn't look good. I need to visit Esk Valley more, there is a spot on the corner by the cottages I keep wondering if will work. Looking at Grosmont and how busy stations get I think next year I will bring some small steps hehe.

Ye I am pretty tired yesterday was there from 8 till just after 5. But the little one wanted to come and have a look at some trains today. We ended up standing up on the tables to see over the crowds. But a small step is a good idea 👍👍
Ye we walked up the line to the cottages where we saw No.29 pulling the freight train not crowded 😂
I think most of the crowds are the Gresley Gang 😂😂😂
