Thanks so much guys. In the first song, the lyrics are all about the guy asking why the woman he loves has changed and why she's no longer the woman he knew. That's the reason why there was little to no interaction at the start. They were portraying the distance that developed between a couple. The lyrics at the end of the first song "non sara amato mai" means I will never be loved.

Diva dance is from the movie Fifth Element with Bruce Willis and Chris tucker. The song was computer generated and sung by an alien. Supposedly no human could have sung that song. Check out his Give me love song after the contest. He’s very mellow in that one wo extremely high notes but still gives the feels. He’s extraordinary.

He did a really good job for the attempt on the Diva Dance. He has improved on his performance of that particular piece because that is what he does. He lives and breathes music and wants to get better with his pronunciations and performances! He does exactly that in the Bastau concert with the Diva Dance. The Diva Dance song is from the movie "5th Element" -- when they made the film though, they had to replace some of the vocals with a synthesizer because they said the human voice couldn't switch running the notes fast enough for the alien singing voice in the movie.... but Dimash can pull it off beautifully without special effects [while he omitted the down run in The Singer episode, he does it beautifully during the Bastau Concert version, as well as a number of other live concerts] :o)

A human recorded it for The Fifth Element, but only recorded one note at a time, and the resulting collection of single-note recordings were then combined to create the song. The persistent myth of a synthesizer being used arises from the not-quite-clean process used to combine the recordings, which made some of the transitions sound digital.
Why this was done, though, you’re exactly correct. It was deemed impossible to sing properly.

Great reaction - as always. The Diva Dance is from the movie - 5th Element......being sung by a large blue alien.....but.....in the movie most of it was done by computer because they said no human voice could make such drastic and quick transitions. Dimash proves them wrong.

After this show, he was the subject of 2 presidents who spoke about him publically, one of his own country, and one of China... I'm sure that he's the next Michael Jackson!!! Hi guys! A great job! The first song is a famous Italian song and the second one is from the movie "5th element". The man who approached to Dimash at the end and greeted is a Kazakhstani ambassador in China Shakhrat Nyrushev who specially came to the show "I am singer" to support him.
Well you picked up on the main point of the dancer and Dimash having a distance from eachother, which is the basis of the song Confessa. He is pleading w his wife/girlfriend to tell him why she is a different woman, what has changed, and asking why she no longer loves him. Beautifully executed. The Diva dance as stated below, Plavalaguna, from the movie Fifth Element, which required synthesizers and technology fill-ins, as written to be unsingable by a human voice (a female one, at that). The guy w the big hair is from one of the other contestant groups, Lion Chorus. They all ended up befriending Dimash. The guy in audience w long braid in back who's always singing along and cheering is Aray Aydarhan, Chinese w Kazakh roots, and singer/musician of his own rights who was mentoring Dimash during this show. Older guy w glasses another competitor/contestant Terry Lin also pretty good worth a watch after Dimash. Don't forget to react to his last "episode" from this series which was kind of a bonus performance. "Give Me Love"/Mahabbat Ber Magan. Just stunning. If you ever watch any of the footage of Dimash when he went to LA for the AMAs (as a guest, not performer), so interesting to see hm circulating in the crowd as a relative unknown.. nobody there knew what greatness was among them.

He's 21 years old China never heard of him and yet he won a Grammy in music his mother is an opera singer his father is in the music industry they are from Kazakhstan and he entered the contest in China and do you believe he came in second place what a joke when everyone knew he should have been number one. I also found out it took him a week and one day to learn how to sing one of his songs in Chinese. You can see all the songs he sung on that show call the singers and watch the expression on his face when they give out the trophies you will see that he knows he lost and yet Russia knew they had a star on their hands and now he is the biggest thing on earth. First it was Elvis Presley Ben Michael Jackson now dimash. No one can compare themselves to him.
Now knowing the liric, you understand why there are not much interraction between the dancer and Dimash, she doesn't love him anymore.

Confessa is a song about a wife/girlfriend who changes or become like someone else(un'altra donna Italian for another woman).....distance in the dance shows distance in relationship, is my perception. Diane Shoaf To answer your question about the vocals in The Fifth Element, the real-life singer did not have the capacity to make the rapid tonal changes Diva Dance requires, to she recorded each note individually, and then they were combined in the appropriate measures on a computer. Due to the questionable quality of some of the work in the combining process, the myth of the whole thing being completely computer-generated arose.

That whole song is him and his voice he goes High let very low and in between and then back up again the first dance was Confessor this one is the Diva dance. Plus the first song if you listen carefully he sings it and three different languages Italian English slight French or Spanish plus another word in China that I can't pronounce he sings that as well if you know languages you will hear the difference it is a genius who created that and that is dimash.
Second part of the Song's from the 5th Element. Many people have done it but Dimash Nailed it. As it was originally done on a Synthesizer it was deemed to be impossible for Human interaction.

The Diva Dance was on the movie the Fifth Element and an alien had to sing the impossible song. Well in truth they couldn't get anyone person to sing the high and the low notes so it has to be remastered by computer. Not only did Dimash just sing it, he did some re-writing and sang both higher and lower than the original!
He is still 22 years old, just singing in a lower register than he had previously. If you had turned on the cc for the Eng. subtitles it would have made clear the meaning for the dancer. Diva Dance is from the movie "The Fifth Element" where a computer-generated android sings the song because at that time there was no human voice able to do so. Check him out at the Bastau concert where he gives an even better version of the Diva Dance.
