I'm living in Northern Europe and the weather here is perfect for D&G The One as casual wear and I agree that the EDP outperforms the EDT version so much you should always buy the EDP one.
Love this fragrance, have always kept a bottle near. Although I will say it performs much better and smells much more appealing in colder weather or on a brisk type of night. Thats when the fragrance really shows its true colors and a lady getter is indeed what it is. Have had random woman just start talking to me about what fragrance I'm wearing and just sit there and continue to tell me how great I smell.

I have the EDT version. And YES the performance is disappointing. I bought it accidentally instead of the EDP. Never the less its a great one for putting it on when chilling and relaxing with your girlfriend on the couch. Sometimes i even put it on for sleeping since its relatively affordable. Absolutely love the "The One" - DNA.
EDT gets a bad rap. I use 4 sprays and can still pick it up on myself 7-8hrs later. Even got a few compliments after 4-6hrs. Considering it's half the price of the EDP, you'll never feel guilty for re-applying.
I hope so. I just bought the EDT version because I hadn't seen this video and just didn't know any better. The bottle is twice the size of the EDP so I certainly wouldn't feel bad about even giving more than 4 sprays. I just hope it lasts even 5 to 6 hours I would be happy.
@@Mr.M1STER Use some moisturizer then a carrier oil like almond oil or a thin thin layer on vaseline then spray the fragrance, that helped me as i was still getting light whiffs of the edt on my arm a foot away at about 7 hours later.
Can't agree more, do not get the EDT! The EDP is worth the extra money. It has extra depth and performance that make it absolutely worth it. Versatile, people pleaser, absolute timeless classic. So good.
D&G the one edt smells so good. It's one of the only fragrances that i don't care if the performance and longevity is bad or good. I will continue to get it no matter what!
For those who think the one edt is too sweet or too warm for the summer day, even if you think it’s too weak in performance, try adding another one spray of Coach for Men edt on top of it. You’ll be amazed! You’re gonna pick up a clean and fresh note and also with a depth of The One edt without ruining the original scent of it.

@@mikeprice8307 Generally speaking, an EDT is supposed to project more than an EDP as the EDT has more alcohol and less oils. In some cases, a brand can make an EDP project more than an EDT, but generally an EDT is supposed to project more.
I have to disagree with you on this one Jeremy, I have both the EDT & EDP - they both perform GREAT! The EDT last up to 7 hours on me. Maybe it's the batch I got or my body.
I personally like the edt better in the opening, it’s a lot lighter and not as intense, but as it dries down the edp is miles better, it projects more and last so much longer.
If you are the person i was a year ago when i didn‘t know really much about fragrances and you just want a good, luxury, masculine and authentic fragrance you can use anywhere and everybody loves it… buy this one…..

Just close your eyes and allow your mind to wander when you smell your wrists. This scent is classy, timeless, and it will transport you somewhere peaceful. Sure, the compliments are great but The One is a very calming and warm cologne.

I bought the Royal night although I'm a woman becuase i was looking for an oud fragrance which is office appropriate and nice in cold weather, I have layered it with a light white floral scents and its worked

To give you context I easily get 8 hours out of Blue De Chanel with just 4 sprays. I sprayed 10 sprays today with the Dolce the one and it disappears after 4 hours.
@Wolf Sauvage ironically my GF loves the fragrance on me. I can barely smell it on me as it sits close to the skin. To my nose, it’s smells good and I enjoy the grapefruit and amber in particular. I don’t pic up much tobacco though.
Found a MAGICAL COLOGNE COMBO this morning by accident. I put on Burberry BRIT RHYTHM EDT, then added by accident later in the morning, Dolce & Gabbana THE ONE EDP. Just SUPER AMAZING COBO together. Got more compliments than any other colognes I have worn in my entire lifetime.

Not great. It won’t be apparent to you that you are wearing it after an hour. My other half can only smell it when she’s up close and personal 😉 I would recommend if you wear it during the day - you top up after 4 hours to keep it noticeable to others at least.
Just picked up a bottle of the EDP from Amazon (sold by Amazon) and although it smells terrific, it doesn't seem to last very long! Wondering if it's a really old batch or...gulp...a fake. They do take returns and the box was well sealed.

It’s a fall, winter fragrance. Some people just wear it in summer and that’s why it lasts about 4-5 hours. But in cool weather it will last about 7-10 hours.
Hi love your channels and content. One of my favorite fragrances is D&G the one. I have had the edt batch 4064 and I have loved it. I just bought the edp batch 9308pm. The top note is better on the edt with a scent of raisins, let’s see if the edp will be better after a couple of hours :)

I was excited too, until I sprayed it. Be careful with the 2020 version of The One EdP. Either my bottle is an aberration or the formula has turned into air freshener. I bought a Feb. 2020 bottle from a major dept. store in the USA that's an authorized seller of D&G and it's incredibly weak. There's absolutely no projection. It's even weak on paper.
Because he's an expert thats why we listen , and the EDT doesn't last as long but every one's skin type is different. The EDP is way better then the EDT.

You get a 3.3oz of the edp for like $60 and a 1.6oz of the edt for like $35 so I'd say te edp is even cheaper lol

You need to overspray it , it does perform quite decent if you spray it like 8-10 times

Just picked up a bottle of the EDP from Amazon (sold by Amazon) and although it smells terrific, it doesn't seem to last very long! Wondering if it's a really old batch or...gulp...a fake. They do take returns and the box was well sealed.

The One, was a def. A game changer. I stopped wearing it when I became single.. Would have all kinds of Cashiers givinv me a compliment, women in the grocery store, and at work.. try it out at Walmart in the summer mornings, esp a Sunday

Eau de toilet lasts even in the hot summer of Dubai. So not that bad. So both maybe good. Will try the eau de Parfum too.
Well shit... I am new to fragrances so I went to the store and smelled at least 10 fragrances and this one was my favourite out of them all. I did buy the EDT version though so I really hope the performance is really not as bad as you say. If it lasts even 5 or 6 hours I will be happy.

It’s a fall, winter fragrance. Some people just wear it in summer and that’s why it lasts about 4-5 hours. But in cool weather it will last about 7-10 hours.

Hi love your channels and content. One of my favorite fragrances is D&G the one. I have had the edt batch 4064 and I have loved it. I just bought the edp batch 9308pm. The top note is better on the edt with a scent of raisins, let’s see if the edp will be better after a couple of hours :)

You are definitely not the only one. I got it this weekend, something old man and like baby powder-y about the scent. In addition it’s very identical to Versace Blue Jeans which would literally be half the price

I was excited too, until I sprayed it. Be careful with the 2020 version of The One EdP. Either my bottle is an aberration or the formula has turned into air freshener. I bought a Feb. 2020 bottle from a major dept. store in the USA that's an authorized seller of D&G and it's incredibly weak. There's absolutely no projection. It's even weak on paper.

EDT is a good choice but EDP is better because it's longer lasting than EDT version.
Because he's an expert thats why we listen , and the EDT doesn't last as long but every one's skin type is different. The EDP is way better then the EDT.
