I am sure it is easy to get the names of two talented singers mixed up, but please correct the name in the title! Angelica Hale is a very talented young singer who appeared on AGT , I think at age 9 or 10. ANGELINA JORDAN ASTAR is a Norwegian born vocal Artist of unparalleled vocal talent and was a child prodigy (she is now 17). Angelina won Norway's got Talent at 8 years of age and appeared on AGT- the champions at 13. For her first song on AGT she performed her own arrangement Of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody for which she received the golden buzzer and the remaining members of Queen posted her performance on their site with "WOW" and gave her the copyright to her version!. She is now signed with Republic Records (at 14) as their top priority new artist! She has released several songs since signing with RR and recently released her first EP which consists of 6 original songs, all of which are fantastic, Just a few days ago she released an original single which is also being used by SoFi Finanical in their commercials and it will be played at SoFi stadium during games! Her album is supposed to be out towards the end of the year!

Angelina has only been on two talent shows: Norway's Got Talent and America's Got Talent The Champions 2 - the rest of the time (after Norway's Got Talent) she has been performing professionally and signed with Republic Records at age 14.
She was also on Little Big Shots in 2016 which was a noncompetitive talent show for children.

Angelina is basically self taught. No formal vocal training or voice coach. You can say that her singing training came from studying the jazz greats on RUclips videos by the age of 3 after being introduced to the music by her jazz fan Grandmother.
She has been intentionally kept under the radar so that she could have as normal a childhood as possible. She has now graduated from high school and the full promotion of her should start soon
Angelina has an unparalleled ability to convey emotion with her voice. And she's only gotten better.

Angelina is a Norwegian born child prodigy in music. She's a singer/ songwriter who's arranged over 180 covers and 5 originals, all since the age of 7. Angelina began singing at 18 months old. At 2, she began teaching herself how to sing, focusing primarily on the jazz masters of decades gone by. These are artists such as Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Etta James. She's also influenced by Amy Winehouse, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, and Adele, to name a few. She's also been said to be the girl of 1,000 voices. Yet even though we can hear the phrasing and style she puts in the songs, it's always Angelina that we hear.
At 7 years old, she auditioned for Norway's Got Talent. She was the last to audition. The judges had no idea who she was or what she could do. They saw a diminutive mussy haired, barefooted girl with her teeth still growing in. For her audition, she performed "Gloomy Sunday" from Billie Holiday. On TV-2, they've reported over 14 million views of this performance. This does not take into account the many hundreds of reactors showing this audition to millions more.
Needless to say, Angelina went on to win the 2014 season of NGT shortly after her 8th birthday. The family was bombarded with requests for performances, interviews, and record label offers. They turned down 90% of the requests, as they insisted that Angelina should enjoy a normal childhood.
That didn't stop Angelina from performing at select engagements around the world, singing for Heads of State, and even Barack Obama. She's spent time and worked with musicians such as Quincy Jones and Alan Walker. She first appeared on American television, The View, at 8 years old.
Angelina auditioned for America's Got Talent The Champions at 13 years old. She made it just up to the final selection of the final 5 when she dropped from the competition. AGT's designated "Super Fans" didn't carry her over into the final 5. The web blew up when she was dropped.
At 14, Angelina signed with Republic Records. Republic gave her complete artistic control as well as control over the performances she would make. She turned 17 on January 10, 2023, graduated from high school, and has embarked on her professional music career. Her first EP under Republic Records is aptly titled, "Old Enough."

All songs are so wonderful in their own way. The shock value of the first where she matches Billie incredibly close. The second one where she sings a cappella for a long period. They put it to music afterwards and she kept her pitch and tempo throughout. The third where she made a relatively easy sing very interesting by playing with the rhythm and the pauses. She also turned her vibrato on and off: very impressive control. The final song is so beautiful in the style of Ella and Louis and she won by a landslide.
Angelina's repertoire is a treasure trove and it just keeps giving. Her family wanted her to have a normal youth. So at 17 she just released an EP called 'Ild Enough' a beautiful mix of many styles Jazz, Blues, soul but also more nodern stuff such as rapp and 100% Angelina ❤

You see many children with impressive voices on the talent type shows. However usually they are just trying so sing as loud, high and powerful as possible to wow the judges. What makes Angelina so unique is that she doesn’t go that route. Its the incredible details, nuances, texture and timing that she has, especially at such a young age.
These 4 performances are from the 2014 season of Norway’s Got Talent. She was 7 in the first performance (the audition) and 8 in the final 3 performances. Her performance of Summertime was in the finals which she won convincingly with 46% of all the votes of 10 Finalists.

Actually she's 17 now and only been on two of these 'reality' shows. She was adorable then and now, she is just gorgeous and amazing.
Iv watched this young ladies journey for ten years knowing that she would be Epic. Now here we are and as expected she is On Fire with her first full release under her new contract. Every song is setting the bar for the rest of the industry, and many will not be up to the challenge.
She was 7 years old she is now 17 and she finished second on AMGT. campions edition a could of years ago With her arrangement of the Classic Queen song Bohemian Rhapsody. And many viewers thought she should have won that show. She now has a recording contract with a major recording company here in the US and has already released several of her own songs that she wrote and arranged. herself. She is truly a child prodigy. She speaks several languages fluently and performs in these languages as well. and she also plays several musical instruments.
Unfortunately, the "Super fans" (one from each US State_ did not place Angelina in the top five, so she did not compete in the Final. There is verifiable proof that she speaks Norwegian and English fluently, some Swedish,and has sung in Japanese and Italian (one song in each of those languages. She possibly has a rudimentary knowledge of Japanese, as both her maternal grandmother, mother and uncle are said to be fluent in that language. It is very likely that she spoke to the orphan girl to whom she gave her shoes in Farsi (Persian)i, as her maternal grandmother was born in Iran (formerly called Persia. It has been commented that she was learning French and German.

@@alberttenfoot...not exactly true as to why she didnt reach the final. The only reason she was on the show was for exposure. Simon and his company had been trying to sign her since she won NGT. After Bohemian Rhapsody, she polled at 74% and even in the mid 50's after Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. IF it were truly up to Super Fans......she would have won easily. The SF is just bs to make the watchers at home think thats who makes the decisions. These shows are almost predetermined after the first round. Angelina and her family got exactly what they wanted from the show. Global exposure and NO contract. A year and a half later, Republic Records gave them what they ultimately wanted....a contract and full control over her future, and RR also gave her as much studio time she wants and assigned a mentor, Rob Christie.

The only points which are new to me are your remarks regarding SFs, although the concept has always seemed "invented" merely for the purpose of publicity. Are you able to point to a link where I can verify the information you provide about their non-existence, or that they are not the people determining the outcome?
Tears. She's brought many tears to my eyes. She can pluck your heart strings with many of her songs , but the one that will send shivers down your spine is bohemian Rhapsody on AGT when she was just 13 years old. Queen was so impressed with her version that they gave her permission to copyright and release the version she did on the show.

Do you remember the first time you discovered Angelina?
I wish I could remember the first time I discovered Angelina. I've been following her about 4 yrs going on 5. I only know I was hooked immediately and had to see more. Every time I was blown away and couldn't wait for the next one. Of course, it was immediately followed by the next one and the next one and that continued late into the night until I had gotten through all of them. I believe it took 3 or 4 weeks but 180 videos, now going on 200+, is going to take time. What a great library and the whole story of her life up to that time. I believe it was shortly after her appearance singing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' on AGT. I've been listening to her every day since then. Then I discovered reaction videos which I had never been interested in. Until I found Angelina. Now I could watch new fans being born every day both in the reactors and their followers. Plus, the fact that I could watch the first reaction when it was their first and relive my own 1st experience with them every time. And then I discovered the comments. Again not a clue but oh my goodness what a wealth of knowledge and history as well as links to even more content. To learn the story of why she sang barefoot again blew me away. I now began to be astonished by her incredibly huge heart and humanity in this little girl. How can you not be impressed? And so it was off again watching every interview and hidden gems not found on the sites I had already exhausted. I took my time and continued searching for anything new. Of course, Angelina continued to put out more content and I found Tiktok and had another whole new world of Angelina to explore working and living in real time. Beautiful short clips of her experiencing and growing right in front of my eyes to the beautiful young lady she is now. Even now I get to find a rare gem never before seen or experienced. Like the new clip of the full 6= minute video of Angelina singing at 18 months old. That was a total surprise. No clue it existed because as I'm sure most other fans were unaware. I don't think it had ever been released. Of course, every pure fan of Angelina had seen the 20 second clip of that originally from an interview or documentary of her life early on. I thought at the time that was all there was to that video just a short 20 seconds of little baby singing to a Whitney Houston song but again I figured it was an unexpected blurb from a little baby. A rare glimpse of a baby mimicking a singer. Not a clue it was only part a full six minutes+ 'performance' a young musical genius developing right from the very start. What I was actually witnessing was in reality one of Angelina's first practice sessions doing what she was born to do. Singing and becoming a superstar. Startling again and another unexpected glimpse into this genius right from the start. OMG! You don't know what you're getting into. She's 17 now and just came out with an EP, 6 original songs that should top all the charts. She's got about 200 covers (some say she doesn't cover songs, she uncovers them as she makes them all her own). You're in for quite a ride if you follow your heart. Nice reaction.

Absolutely loved your reaction. It was the same as mine the first time I saw her when she was 7 years old, moved to tears! Many of her songs, covers and originals will do the same no matter how many times you watch them. Hope you continue to follow her journey right through to her currently aged 17 years. She has the unique ability to make you feel the music and convey the emotions in the lyrics, something many singers, no matter how experienced, cannot do. Close enough. lol She actually started the competition when she was 7, but had turned 8 by the time she won. She said 7 on AGT, but may have confused when she was in it with when she won it. Takes zero away from how remarkable it was, maybe just a few months difference.
She is one of a kind she has over 200 covers and originals she's 17 now and recently has a new album out. Thank you for a great reaction to our Unicorn , comments from the judges "you are an old soul who has lived many lives" "you are music" "you were born to sing, we have a star" this is at 7yrs old at the beginning of the contest and 8yrs old when she won.. Her Granma Mery who introduced her to jazz playing it around the house is a renowned Iranian painter and poet and has filmed and photographed virtually her whole life and her amazing family has shared it with her angels(fans) this is a fairy tale in real time . 17 yrs old now IMO she is the great storytelling artist and personality and character voice or voices (as one of her many names is the girl with a thousand voices) she can sing anything in any style across multiple genre's . Now she is creating her own genre Angelina genre, she is incomparable and unique and in her own lane. She is loved dearly some angels have watched her since she was 7yrs old many others have arrived at various times but most have binge watched everything she has ever sung and every film or interview from when she was tiny, this is not the usual experience for most of us but she moved into our hearts and resides there forever, there is a special connection between her and us including her family the love is profound she is a humble beautiful soul real sincere with a giant heart who wants to spread kindness and love with her singing the thing she loves to do, she has said singing is like breathing for me. We are all so happy she wants to sing for us and the world to continue bringing us so much joy and love just by being AJ .💗👣
Thanks for your reaction! She is only 17 years old today and from Norway. She signed with the label Republic Records just 14 years old, I think we can safely leave the promotion to Republic Record. Marketing will start when her full album is released later this year. There's only one EP with 6 songs she's released from RR now, and they haven't started marketing until the full album is released!. Republic Records know 100% what they are doing? I think a lot of people don't realize how much Angelina has done in her short life (17). She performed FIFA AWARD song, and performed in front of 40 000 people only 11 years old invited by Norah Jones. She was also specially invited by Quincy Jones to perform on his 85th birthday in the O2 arena / London. And so on goes the list... She has over 250 songs on RUclips with cover songs and many originals. Angelina also plays piano and guitar.

@@jollyo9276 Although the filming was done about Oct 2019 it was not released for viewing until 06 Jan 2020. One "reason" given is that AGT requested Angelina say she was 7 when she won NGT was because they thought their viewers would just deduct 2014 from 2020 and come to the conclusion that Angelina must have been 14 at the time they saw the performance. In other words, they did not credit them to be intelligent enough to work out that the date of the release must have been before Angelina's 14th birthday. I was very surprised that Angelina went along with it, but who knows what sort of pressure she was under.

Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of only 8, singing old time classics from Billie Holliday and George Gershwin, and became the youngest ever vocalist to win an international Got Talent Show! Her performance at 9 years old of Screamin Jay Hawkins, I Put a Spell on You is considered one of the finest recordings ever of a 9-year-old vocalist! Angelina also went viral on America's Got Talent the champions in 2020 with her unique versions of Bohemian Rhapsody and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Angelina sings in English which unbelievably is her third language! She is a true prodigy.
She is now 17, and has recorded a huge library of songs, including covers and several originals. A major attraction to Angelina's music is the emotion and attitude she conveys, although she has not experienced the life events! Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even donated her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.

Why does Angelina sing barefooted? Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz," amongst many other names. She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio performance. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at 6 years old, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself, "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside, so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them, which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them.
Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true, you have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day, 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. Right then and there, I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.”
From that point on, Angelina takes off her shoes, in honor of ‘Princess’ and all the other less fortunate children of the world, who are orphaned, hungry, or in want of even basic clothing. In 2015, at the age of 9, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, as everyone continued to ask why she sang barefoot. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, created the artwork for the book. So at 9, Angelina Jordan became the youngest published author in Norway. Angelina has performed alongside many other artists, raising attention and helping to raise over 21 million euros and millions of dollars for children in need.
