I like the creative multipurpose handle. Use it for my water bottle. Once I’m paddling, I’m not moving my feet much at all. Just got a HL today, excited to try it out and compare
Terrific review. I love the torture test. I have this board, and it's o.k., but I wish I had the hyperlite watching your review of it. Less flex, better removable fin, and better pump. Thanks!
The time difference between the HyperLite vs BG board fill time was 2 minutes..non issue. What the BG single stage pump does better is it will fill 3 boards in a row, non stop. The HL pump gets HOT with one board fill. Fins: as one who has 4 isups, my long single fine boards are a pain in shallow water. If I hit a rock or submerged tree limb with my long fin boards, I will get tossed over the front. Did it twice. The fixed 3 fins on the BG board is great, especially when on the ocean and riding waves. That's not the place to use a long fin board like the HL or on a river that has shallows or when you need to make a quick turn. Finally the extra length of the BG board at 11' vs HyperLite at 10'2" makes a difference as the BG board gives me a faster touring speed vs the HL I returned.

Great comments, I agree! 2min extra time to inflate versus a motor that may burn out prematurely (the HL).
well done !!!!
I bought it and after five days I had to return it because the sides were peeling the glue started to let go
Same situation with mine. Still need to return though.
