iSUP Review Red Compact
We’re back with another review, and this time we’re focusing on the Red Paddle Co. Compact inflatable SUP. Like the name suggests, this board is incredibly compact, making it ideal for smaller riders and easy to take along on trips. Let’s take a look at some of its features.
- 9 feet, 6 inches in length.
- This board is pretty short, which helps make it as compact as possible. It comes in an appealing blue color scheme.
- It is a great size for a smaller person, but larger users may prefer a bigger board.
- All of Red’s 2022 boards come with a 5 year warranty, you’ll just have to register your board after purchase to activate it. We haven't had any issues requiring use of the warranty so far...

iSUP Review Hyperlite Elevation Unboxing
Просмотров 3,9 тыс.2 года назад
In this video, we’re unboxing the Hyperlite Elevation inflatable SUP which we picked up from Costco for $399. We loved last year’s Hyperlite iSUP, the Admiral, so we were excited to see how the new model compares. The bag has a fin pocket on the outside and looks to be pretty high-quality. Inside the bag were the board rolled up with a strap, a leash, the instruction manual, super dry, warranty...

In this video, we’re taking a look at the Hyperlite Elevation Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board. It’s relatively light, compact, and has a lot of great features to explore. Let’s get into it! - 10 feet, 2 inches in length. - More compact than Hyperlite’s Admiral model from last year and than many other inflatable SUPs on the market. - When buying from Costco, you’re offered a 100% satisfaction g...
iSUP Review Body Glove Performer Unboxing
Просмотров 5662 года назад
Today on inflatable SUP review, we’re unboxing the Body Glove Performer. Unfortunately, we begin this video with the realization that our bag arrived with a tear. We purchased through Costco and are confident that they will make it right, but this just shows that the bag itself is not of the highest quality. Inside the bag, the board was rolled up with a keeper strap. When we unrolled it, we di...

Welcome back to Inflatable SUP Review! Today we’re reviewing the Body Glove Performer, which retails for $399.99. Watch the video to learn more about this board and hear our thoughts on it. - 11 feet in length. - Narrow profile and doesn't carry its width very far to the back and front. - If you buy from Costco, this board will have a warranty and they are typically very good about honoring tha...

199.99 today at Costco before midnight ends
I like the creative multipurpose handle. Use it for my water bottle. Once I’m paddling, I’m not moving my feet much at all. Just got a HL today, excited to try it out and compare
Thank you! You explained details the instructions omitted
Do you still have a website? I cannot find it, interested to see the list of torture and flex tests.
I bought this SUP. My first one. Inflation to 14 psi takes about 8 min and it is super rigid. I am 225 lbs and I have no issues standing and paddling for long periods of time. Average for my trips is between 2 - 2.5 mph. Longest so far is about 45 minutes. I have left it inflated for 3 days once and it held pressure and still worked well. I am assuming I will mature and want something more expensive eventually, but for now I am super impressed.
Any thoughts on the hyper lite pontoon?
Ese motor no funciona para inflar el paddle, solo infla a 7psi y no da mas.
Pass on this board. Why? Too short and too much flex. I returned back to Costco and got the Body Glove Performer and it's a much higher quality board. The BG board is very stiff, more room since longer at 11' x 34", more stable, and the high quality is very apparent. I'm not saying this Hyperlite board is bad, but I am saying the BG Performer is better.
What is the point of doing the "flex test"? The boards aren't meant to hold weight like that which could cause damage/excessive wear, and doesn't translate to real world testing in the slightest since the whole board is meant to be supported by the water, not on two points on saw horses. Is there a reason I am missing? Oh my god and now the torture test? I'm sorry but that just isn't smart or practical. Man, you can't call these videos "reviews" if you didn't even test them. It's like a half-assed overview. I hope you don't start making videos again and potentially influencing people to make purchases when you haven't even tested and shown what you are displaying. I can't believe how many people do this with everything.
Looking forward to watch your "proper" test and review James!
@@palpinter4204 I'm glad you don't care people are influenced to spend their hard-earned cash by non-reviews. If you don't thoroughly review and test a product the way it is described/designed, you don't deserve the view count. Its as simple as that. RUclips is already flooded with crap that wastes people's time and money. I'm glad you don't care.
All that and you skip how to unscrew the inflator properly from the board after you’ve inflated it!!
I got this board, glad l did after watching this review. Have not had it on the water yet but impressed with the overall look and feel, seems durable. Sure if you weigh 200 lbs it might not be the board for you, there are bigger boards. I'm 155 and my wife is 115 lbs.
When I try to inflate my elevation iSUP with the included electric pump, the pump always shuts off at around 7 PSI (I have it set to turn off at 15 PSI). I don’t hear leaking at the gasket or anywhere else. I can turn the pump back on, but it always shuts off about about 10 seconds. Any ideas why this could be happening? I leave my car running while inflating.
I got this, I hope it does well on the water. I got seats for it.
Great review. What is the difference from sup with 3 fins vs 1 vin
Three fins just help with stability in choppier water, or when in the ocean / paddle surfing.
well done !!!!
I bought it and after five days I had to return it because the sides were peeling the glue started to let go
Same situation with mine. Still need to return though.
Your channel deserves more views, great job on making these reviews
I purchased 2 of these as my wife and my first SUP. I weight 190Lbs. I ended up having to inflate it to 16lbs. It was just too flexible for me to even stand on. I kept falling. Once I over inflated I was good to go. I'm sure that's against what is recommended but it worked. I'd also say that ours inflate way faster than this one did in the video. Ours take less than 5 min to fully inflate. Great review!!!
Tried mine yesterday and noticed the same thing. Compared with another one I had before this one. Will try that.
The time difference between the HyperLite vs BG board fill time was 2 minutes..non issue. What the BG single stage pump does better is it will fill 3 boards in a row, non stop. The HL pump gets HOT with one board fill. Fins: as one who has 4 isups, my long single fine boards are a pain in shallow water. If I hit a rock or submerged tree limb with my long fin boards, I will get tossed over the front. Did it twice. The fixed 3 fins on the BG board is great, especially when on the ocean and riding waves. That's not the place to use a long fin board like the HL or on a river that has shallows or when you need to make a quick turn. Finally the extra length of the BG board at 11' vs HyperLite at 10'2" makes a difference as the BG board gives me a faster touring speed vs the HL I returned.
Great comments, I agree! 2min extra time to inflate versus a motor that may burn out prematurely (the HL).
I had this board for a week and 3x on the water and returned it to Costco for the Body Glove Performer 11. Why? It's too flexy and not as stiff as the Body Glove. It's a slug on the water if 200+lbs and pushes too much water vs the Body Glove. Only the front of the board has bungie gear tie down and none on the year. BG has both front/rear bungie system. If you are new to inflatable boards, lighter the board means more flex. THe BG board has triple stringers for super ridged strength and this one does not.
are you looking to review more lesser known brands? Outdoor Masters/ GIli?
Another great review Chris. 👏 I'd be interested in an irocker or atoll board to see how they would do in your torture test. That is one tough test! Keep up the great work!
Terrific review. I love the torture test. I have this board, and it's o.k., but I wish I had the hyperlite watching your review of it. Less flex, better removable fin, and better pump. Thanks!
Nice job. Thanks!
Great review
You get more than you pay for with those, excellent boards.
