Very cool. Been looking into inflatable paddle boards. I have an inflatable kayak I love. We dont live near any nice water socthe inflatables are great for traveling and storage.
This is the paddleboard: www.bodyglove.com/products/isupperf-blgr-performer-11-ft-blue-ocean-edition-isup Quick note... The paddle was a 3 piece, not a 2 piece. Counting is hard sometimes...
Your pump link on Amazon is dead. Wondering if you’ve run across a similar pump. What I’ve heard in my one day of researching is that many of the pumps, even if they’re $150 or $200 die pretty quick - have you heard of any bombproof electric pump in your travels?
Anything in, on, around, or under water is my happy place! I've had kayaks and paddle boards for years. Since right-sizing into van life, I have only my stand-up paddle board from Xterra. Items that I consider key to enjoyable and safe paddle boarding include: 1) Leash - Preferably coiled and relatively short so it stays out of the way. An emergency release feature is also a good option. Mine is the 8' model from XM | Surf More. 2) PFD - To save space and maximize mobility, I prefer inflatable PFD's. They're available as life vests that are always ready around the neck, or stored in a belt with around the waist. Manual and automatic inflation models are available, and many automatic models are switchable. I have both the Onyx 24M (vest) and 16M (fanny pack). Be aware that CO² cartridges are banned from carry-on baggage. So, if you travel with your SUP, transport any cartridges in your checked baggage. 3) Throw bag - Great item to get you or someone else to safety. We're all in it together on the water. Beyond these items, I bring a dry bag packed with a water-proof first aid kit, an extra water bottle with filtration, and sunscreen on every paddle. Happy paddling y'all!
Fantastic advice as always! That's a really good idea on the throw bag. Something about the leash regarding keeping it out of the way (and maybe you already do this)... I was shown to put it up above your calf right below your knee rather than down on your ankle. That little tip helped GREATLY from keeping me from stepping on the leash all the time.
Thanks for sharing guys! We've thought about getting something similar since we didn't want to haul around our big old kayaks with us while traveling. This could be a good fix! - Shane
Thx bro!! Helped me choose isup over kayak. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I appreciate you taking the time to show people like me such awesome info! You’re so right about electrics pump. I thought I would “man up” and hand pump. You’re correct, that’s for the birds!!! (5:08-5:14) 😂😂😂
Starting my van build and was wondering if there is any major difference between the 2500 & 3500 sprinter. I know the back wheel difference and weight. I’m leaning for the 2500 4x4 sprinter and would love to here your thoughts. Thanks Dave
Sweeeet! I have missed these videos. It makes me feel as though school has let out and we're at recess!!! - That campsite looks familiar!? Thanks for the info and the giggles. I've missed those the most.
We just won a retrospec inflatable paddleboard from a raffle, watching your video as we have no clue on them. Great video!
The video content is so excellent, congratulations
Awesome! Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
My wife and I just picked up two of these from Costco. Spent an hour on Lake Mayo, NC learning to stand, paddle, and recover. We’re iSUP newbies.
Awesome! Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
Great video. We won a blow-up kayak from Marlboro and it was better than any hard bodied one we have had since.

I found this video very helpful. Thanks so much. I see you haven't posted in a while. Is everything ok? I hope so.

Very helpful video, thank you!
New inflatable sups are great. especially in shallow water
My buddy has a body glove and loves it. I used it in tahoe and it was awesome..

Super cool! I've seen quite a few of them around!

We were in the same 'boat'. Haha! It was a great choice!

I highly recommend battery driven pumps as well :D Works as a charm
lol. I still have the manual pump for If we are needing to carry the paddleboards a ways but I REALLY REALLY hate using it. Haha!
Nice. Water fan here. Owning a canie ir kayak brings about the problem of space. These seem easy to store.
Coming from having our two 10' kayaks, these are WAY easier to store.
What type of sun glasses are those?
No wonder I had missed you guys. You changed your name! Hope it captures more subscribers because you guys are awesome!

controller2152 different gear ratio, 2500 will get better mpg, unless you need the weight capacity I'd stick with the 2500, as I have.
KFStreich ....I was thinking the same thing.... Thanks
Guys.. what brand/type of storage system is on you back doors of your van?
Awesome video! Are you guys from Idaho?
