That's exactly why I wanna contact my ex. Just to let her know all the mistakes SHE MADE! I blamed myself when her and I talked last and this is eating me up but I'm getting better. She thinks she's so self aware but she's not, she turned out to be more selfish than I initially thought. She did take some blame and said that she's not pointing the finger at me.

My ex told me he needed a break and after the break the few weeks past and he was on and off hot and cold, after our last conversation I started the no contact rule and ten days prior to my no contact I hear he was in a car accident and I just send a text to ask if he was okay and he told me what happened and told me thank you for looking out I appreciate it and nothing from there, was it wrong from my end cause I feel like an idiot for even texting him, plus I still have his apartment keys which he never ask for or pick up? I'm not gonna lie. I'm starting to feel like I don't even want my ex back anymore to begin with lol. I feel like this is coach lee's plan all along. To either find yourself again and realize YOUR value or just get over the ex in general and them coming back is just a consolation prize, a bridge that you can decide to cross when you get there.

I think people come back mostly because they feel lonely or sad and want an ego boost. Most of exes do not come back to have a relationship again with you, but because they are looking for validation and to boost their self esteem thinking that you are going to beg and plead again.
Just don't even bother playing the game. Be aware that their are games out there so that you can tell when someone's playing them, and then walk away as soon as you detect them. Healthy relationships are not created out of these games.

Hey Coach Lee and others, This is just to inform you that no contact rule works. I got my ex back. "What you think is what you get". So be positive, radiate positive vibes. Coach Lee's video has really helped me a lot. I just followed the rule for a day. However it changes from person to another. But it will definitely happen. Breakup is the most painful thing. U feel like the heart is being ripped apart. U think U won't make it to the next day. However it gets better with time. Stay strong actually don't want them back they will come to ruin your new self and leave again.

I made my ex feel exactly how you said, trapped, I would get angry when they didn’t spend time with me and would ignore him because of this. This is exactly what I did over the last 3 yrs to my husband but I didn't realize it until just now as I watched this video and I hate myself for it too because after 20 yrs of marriage I found out he'd been cheating on me and lying straight to my face for almost 2 months and as I cried and begged him to come back home with me or to at least make her leave because she and her two kids, 2 dogs, cat and hamster had moved in with our 28 yr old daughter because they'd just met one week before where they both worked and she and her kids were homeless after leaving her kids' dad so my daughter moved them into her apartment where her dad (my husband) was living while on house arrest after Just getting out of jail... so he chose our daughters 32 yr old "best friend" that they'd both just met over me his wife and mother of his 3 children. And all 3 of our kids knew that he had moved her into his bedroom with him and that he was lying to me about it for 2 months but neither of them said anything to me about it and they even took his side about all of it. So now she basically took my place in my own marriage and family while I'm left to fend for myself by myself after being a stay at home mom for the last 20 yrs and he's paying for his and her share of the $900/month rent, utilities, food for her, her kids and her 4 pets. So yeah I fucking hate myself and I wish I'd never even met him because it hurts soooooo fucking much worse to lose the man of my dreams when I know that I had everything I'd ever wanted, needed and more and I'll never get it back because my daughter put her friend in the small apt with my husband who can only leave to go to work and then get straight home each day and she intentionally put herself in between my marriage and refuses to leave so I didn't and don't even have any kind of a chance to try to fix things between us.

I’ve done years of studying psychology and I am beyond amazed by coach Lee. I hope that his viewers truly appreciate the knowledge Lee is providing in his videos. Even though I’ve studied for a long time, I assure you that I have made the very basic mistakes that I could have avoided, and that’s why I admire Lee’s reminder. My girl and I never really argued or anything... she became cold and distant after being constantly brainwashed by her horrible “friend “ that somehow somewhere I would end up being a horrible person DESPITE THE FACT THAT I TREATED HER LIKE MY QUEEN. It hurts... then I finally decided to apply the no contact... haven’t spoken to her for about a 7 days... and that’s something that we never stop talking for more than 2 days. It’s crazy and I don’t expect everyone to understand our situation.... she started to show interest in me and eventually I let her in my heart... until the jealous friend of hers started to affect my girl’s mind and attitude towards me... we were fine, we didn’t even fight or anything... I miss her, but I know that I have to continue the no contact and regain my pride.
Haha, going through the same process, because of different religions and cultures, hey friends kept talking shit to her and we didn't fight or anything, i tried taking to her and get an explanation but she seemed confused and didn't want to bother to explain so i just kept it normal in our last meeting and walked out and didn't contact her since then, she views my Instagram stories and i have been doing lots of things lately luckily for me, it's been 8 days now i heard from her after 2 days of the no contact she texted me about a video i posted and i give her a short reply, and since that day we both didn't contact each other, it was all good between us she is sometimes caring and sometimes won't bother to do extra but her friends kept at it, i met her mom and brother and they liked me alot i did want to engage to her after 6 months of knowing each other, anyways we are on the same situation haha just thought it was funny

The “No Contact “ that coach Lee talks about is something that the person whom has been broken up with HAS TO APPLY IN ORDER TO SHOW SELF RESPECT SELF CONFIDENCE PRIDE After a certain amount of time, perhaps the “dumpee “ might have to re-reach out because the “dumper” might not have the courage to reach back out. When i first met her she was the cute gaming anime girl kinda shy and wont really go out partying much now she changed to the complete oposite she looks totally mainstream by now goes out partying all the time and so on. So I’ve been following your videos for about 2 weeks now. I’ve struggled with my mental health, and my ex came home and packed up all his stuff while I was at work and broke up with me when I got home. The best relationship of my life he just lacked communication, and felt I wasn’t putting in as much effort, which was true due to my depression. We broke up about a month ago and I could not do no contact but I did back off and tried responding only when he did. At one point I asked him how he was doing and he stated he was having a hard time and didn’t want to talk about it. I asked again the next day if he was doing any better and he said a little bit but I’m still going through it. This was late at night let me remind you. I jumped out of bed and went to the store and got him all of his favorite snacks as a care package and brought it to him. Since then he’s been talking with me constantly and we have a date on Friday. Figuring out what the problem was and working really hard on myself (going to therapy and back on my medications after the breakup) I think is proving to him that I’m putting in effort. My ex did everything under the sun to make me feel insecure and jealous - lies, cheating, "disappearances". I was very reactive , needy, desperate. Admit these are my tendencies, but I was never like this in previous relationships... It sucks that I lost control of myself. With all of these things, I still miss him terribly.

For all the people counting the days or even worse, MONTHS of NC, you arent ready to be in a relationship with anyone. Learn how to live happily by yourself. Spend time with friends and family. Get sexy for your own self confidence. Dont live your best life just in hopes that your ex will see you doing well and be attracted to you again. You need to want to be the best version of yourself FOR YOURSELF, not a girl or guy who decided to give up on you. Whats crazy is if people made lifestyle changes like they do during breakups DURING the relationship, things probably would have worked out. Its like people feel their self improvement is only worth it when there is something to lose and its sad to see. Listening to this, it sounds like I did everything right DURING the relationship, but she still left me. I gave her complete freedom to do and hang out with whomever she wanted and never expressed jealousy or clinginess, definitely didn't make her feel trapped. And I never invested more than her, in fact one of the reason she gave me for the breakup was that she felt like I didn't invest enough and she felt like she always fought hard for me but I didn't fight for her. Maybe I just overdid it on accident.
Honestly, i think it all comes down to how much the other person values you. If you are of no value to them in some way, they will not want you. If someone doesn't value you, why would you want to be around them?

Coach Lee, you are so right. I made all these mistakes when I was in the relationship with my boyfriend and he warned me many times to not to do those mistakes but I was so blind to see the consequences and it resulted in break-up.

Everything I’ve heard in your videos is exactly the things she’s said to me while I was begging and pleading, for weeks I did this. But, I didn’t listen, I was trying to control the outcome and over analyzing and looking for the good and running with it. Thinking I was making progress when clearly she said “I would tell you”. It was me being selfish and letting my ego control it. She’s been in a rebound since about a week or two after our break up and today I have finally decided to start the no contact rule. Hello, thank you Lee. I truly appreciate your videos, they're amazing. You're amazing. Unfortunately with my ex, she has become very resentful, she's very angry with me, I felt the relationship was going well, she apparently didn't. This Friday she broke up with me over text. I felt it coming for a week, she said we should stop all contact, so I did. Deleted her everywhere, blocked her everywhere, yet, the next day she contacts me. She says I'm handling the situation badly, and I don't understand. Through text I could tell she's going through a lot of emotions right now, as one of your videos suggested, I didn't ignore her. I replied in a calm, receiving manner, yet she continuously insulted me time and time again. I don't understand why, but that doesn't matter. I've accepted we've broken up, I don't think I want her back, but I'd be willing to give it a try, should she reach out to me again sometime. I just want to truly say thank you, because your videos has helped me a lot, even though the break up is still very new, it has helped me. It's made me feel less sad, made me accept things easier, and I know you're a Coach to get your ex back, but to me you've also helped me get over her, or started to anyway. I have been watching your videos all day. I met a girl around 2 weeks ago, everything went very fast, I recently became 18 and she is almost 16. She is my first and as silly as it might sounds I fell in love with her, so I drived 8 hours to meet her and I did, after I told her I love her and that she loved me. So we met and I hired a hotel room and spent the best days of my life with her, it was so real and I felt undescribebly connected to her. What happens when I was the one that felt smothered, and controlled by her anxieties? I pulled back to get a breath of fresh air and she said I had mixed feelings (which may not be completely wrong for a period of time but I wasn’t going anywhere and I told her I was where I wanted to be) and then she ran? I never ignored her, we talked every day, I can admit that I had gotten a little distant during quarantine (we quarantined apart). I just feel so steamrolled by this whole thing. She dumped me via text, I was not happy about that and reacted to that probably worse than I should have. I reached out a week later asking to talk, she said no. I stated some of my feelings, both about the relationship and the way I actually felt about her, said I would respect her decision and went no contact. This one hurts. I’ve known and loved this woman for the 12 years I’ve known her and for the year long actual relationship. I’m just about 2 months into no contact. I haven’t reached out or tried to see her and neither has she. But I don’t really fit in this video. I would really like to spend my life with this woman. It sucks because I really tried to love this woman freely and did not try to control her AT ALL, I was not jealous (though I suspect she had a few moments where she tried to manipulate me by trying to make me jealous which did not work). She was by FAR the most anxiously attached person I have ever met and I’m sure she feels like I abandoned her or that I was going to when I wasn’t. I just needed to breath not end it. She was just so incredibly clingy, manipulative and codependent towards the end. I even talked to her about it which she took poorly. She never thought too highly of herself. She would refuse to allow me to love her a lot. She thought pretty poorly about herself and I was constantly trying to boost her up which was never enough as she would just never accept it. If I did anything or paid for anything she would act like she didn’t deserve it.... which really hurt. It really blows to be so in love with someone in ways they can’t even see in themselves but you can, being a slave to their anxieties and them just not realizing that you’re pushing for a healthier relationship. I don’t want to feel like I’m put on a pedestal. I don’t want to feel like someone is trying to buy my love. All I wanted was to love her, to be loved back and to have a partner. Ugh this sucks and my situation just doesn’t fit any of these videos I see.

I clicked on your videos when I was feeling lost and vulnerable, and you have helped me feel a lot stronger and more self-assured. I am working on the mindset that I am the prize. In the beginning of our relationship, I was the “prize” but over time that reversed and he broke up with me. We kept in contact and he strung me along for months. I cut that off about a month ago. I was in a similar situation, I fell in love with the perfect girl and she told me she loved me and broke up with me within the same couple of weeks. My ex told me he needed a break and after the break the few weeks past and he was on and off hot and cold, after our last conversation I started the no contact rule and ten days prior to my no contact I hear he was in a car accident and I just send a text to ask if he was okay and he told me what happened and told me thank you for looking out I appreciate it and nothing from there, was it wrong from my end cause I feel like an idiot for even texting him, plus I still have his apartment keys which he never ask for or pick up? This is exactly what I did over the last 3 yrs to my husband but I didn't realize it until just now as I watched this video and I hate myself for it too because after 20 yrs of marriage I found out he'd been cheating on me and lying straight to my face for almost 2 months and as I cried and begged him to come back home with me or to at least make her leave because she and her two kids, 2 dogs, cat and hamster had moved in with our 28 yr old daughter because they'd just met one week before where they both worked and she and her kids were homeless after leaving her kids' dad so my daughter moved them into her apartment where her dad (my husband) was living while on house arrest after Just getting out of jail... so he chose our daughters 32 yr old "best friend" that they'd both just met over me his wife and mother of his 3 children. And all 3 of our kids knew that he had moved her into his bedroom with him and that he was lying to me about it for 2 months but neither of them said anything to me about it and they even took his side about all of it. So now she basically took my place in my own marriage and family while I'm left to fend for myself by myself after being a stay at home mom for the last 20 yrs and he's paying for his and her share of the $900/month rent, utilities, food for her, her kids and her 4 pets. So yeah I fucking hate myself and I wish I'd never even met him because it hurts soooooo fucking much worse to lose the man of my dreams when I know that I had everything I'd ever wanted, needed and more and I'll never get it back because my daughter put her friend in the small apt with my husband who can only leave to go to work and then get straight home each day and she intentionally put herself in between my marriage and refuses to leave so I didn't and don't even have any kind of a chance to try to fix things between us.

I’ve done years of studying psychology and I am beyond amazed by coach Lee. I hope that his viewers truly appreciate the knowledge Lee is providing in his videos.
Even though I’ve studied for a long time, I assure you that I have made the very basic mistakes that I could have avoided, and that’s why I admire Lee’s reminder.
My girl and I never really argued or anything... she became cold and distant after being constantly brainwashed by her horrible “friend “ that somehow somewhere I would end up being a horrible person DESPITE THE FACT THAT I TREATED HER LIKE MY QUEEN. It hurts... then I finally decided to apply the no contact... haven’t spoken to her for about a 7 days... and that’s something that we never stop talking for more than 2 days.
It’s crazy and I don’t expect everyone to understand our situation.... she started to show interest in me and eventually I let her in my heart... until the jealous friend of hers started to affect my girl’s mind and attitude towards me... we were fine, we didn’t even fight or anything...

Only thing that eases my pain
I was with my ex for eight years. Most of our relationship was great, but then for maybe the past two years I became very insecure and did everything he described in this video. I don’t know why I started acting that way. But my ex has said many times I was smothering her and making her feel trapped and I was trying to control her. So I’ve been following your videos for about 2 weeks now. I’ve struggled with my mental health, and my ex came home and packed up all his stuff while I was at work and broke up with me when I got home. The best relationship of my life he just lacked communication, and felt I wasn’t putting in as much effort, which was true due to my depression. We broke up about a month ago and I could not do no contact but I did back off and tried responding only when he did. At one point I asked him how he was doing and he stated he was having a hard time and didn’t want to talk about it. I asked again the next day if he was doing any better and he said a little bit but I’m still going through it. This was late at night let me remind you. I jumped out of bed and went to the store and got him all of his favorite snacks as a care package and brought it to him. Since then he’s been talking with me constantly and we have a date on Friday. Figuring out what the problem was and working really hard on myself (going to therapy and back on my medications after the breakup) I think is proving to him that I’m putting in effort. My ex did everything under the sun to make me feel insecure and jealous - lies, cheating, "disappearances". I was very reactive , needy, desperate. Admit these are my tendencies, but I was never like this in previous relationships... It sucks that I lost control of myself. With all of these things, I still miss him terribly.

For all the people counting the days or even worse, MONTHS of NC, you arent ready to be in a relationship with anyone. Learn how to live happily by yourself. Spend time with friends and family. Get sexy for your own self confidence. Dont live your best life just in hopes that your ex will see you doing well and be attracted to you again. You need to want to be the best version of yourself FOR YOURSELF, not a girl or guy who decided to give up on you. Whats crazy is if people made lifestyle changes like they do during breakups DURING the relationship, things probably would have worked out. Its like people feel their self improvement is only worth it when there is something to lose and its sad to see. Not saying Im not guilty of doing the same, but it makes you wonder why we live this way.

Listening to this, it sounds like I did everything right DURING the relationship, but she still left me. I gave her complete freedom to do and hang out with whomever she wanted and never expressed jealousy or clinginess, definitely didn't make her feel trapped. And I never invested more than her, in fact one of the reason she gave me for the breakup was that she felt like I didn't invest enough and she felt like she always fought hard for me but I didn't fight for her.
Maybe I just overdid it on accident.
Honestly, i think it all comes down to how much the other person values you. If you are of no value to them in some way, they will not want you. If someone doesn't value you, why would you want to be around them?

Everything I’ve heard in your videos is exactly the things she’s said to me while I was begging and pleading, for weeks I did this. But, I didn’t listen, I was trying to control the outcome and over analyzing and looking for the good and running with it. Thinking I was making progress when clearly she said “I would tell you”. It was me being selfish and letting my ego control it. She’s been in a rebound since about a week or two after our break up and today I have finally decided to start the no contact rule. And it is so hard. I’m gonna try it though because I feel like I’ve done everything else to no avail. I appreciate your videos and I’ll keep faking it till I make it. I hope it works because i do love her. But I need to learn acceptance and other things. We had a good relationship and it was only the last three months things went sour. I think I have blown it all as he wanted no contact for his reasons and I didn't understand and emailed him things to vent my grief. I was mean and also truthful, I hadn't found Coach Lee then. It's only been a 11 days but I am doing things to improve me and I have done no contact for the last 9 days.

I don't know if this is a record, but five days after no contact, she came over to my house (she still had her key) and woke me up to talk. I want to encourage everyone. I can testify that this works. We're back together. The Tao Te Ching (which I've been reading lately) also says trying to "make things happen" doesn't work.

Hello, thank you Lee. I truly appreciate your videos, they're amazing. You're amazing. Unfortunately with my ex, she has become very resentful, she's very angry with me, I felt the relationship was going well, she apparently didn't. This Friday she broke up with me over text. I felt it coming for a week, she said we should stop all contact, so I did. Deleted her everywhere, blocked her everywhere, yet, the next day she contacts me. She says I'm handling the situation badly, and I don't understand. Through text I could tell she's going through a lot of emotions right now, as one of your videos suggested, I didn't ignore her. I replied in a calm, receiving manner, yet she continuously insulted me time and time again. I don't understand why, but that doesn't matter. I've accepted we've broken up, I don't think I want her back, but I'd be willing to give it a try, should she reach out to me again sometime. I just want to truly say thank you, because your videos has helped me a lot, even though the break up is still very new, it has helped me. It's made me feel less sad, made me accept things easier, and I know you're a Coach to get your ex back, but to me you've also helped me get over her, or started to anyway. She was so angry at me and acted as if she hated me her entire life. She lashed out at me and insulted me in many ways. She even said she wish I was dead. I have been watching your videos all day. I met a girl around 2 weeks ago, everything went very fast, I recently became 18 and she is almost 16. She is my first and as silly as it might sounds I fell in love with her, so I drived 8 hours to meet her and I did, after I told her I love her and that she loved me. So we met and I hired a hotel room and spent the best days of my life with her, it was so real and I felt undescribebly connected to her. Before I drove on my way back, she kissed me, hugged me and everything was just perfect until the curse occured, she blocked me on everything and My heart was shattered to peaces. I made a new accounted and asked why and I want to die and all that sad stuff ( I digged a very deep hole). She told me all that it's me not you whore shit and she still has feeling for her ex and I should move on but I do love her for real. I am broken and I don't know what to do. I stopped sending her messages but do you think there is any slight chance of her coming back to me? I am sorry for this long story but I am just lost, sad and having suicidal thought, please help, I trust you.

I’m not perfect but she fails to acknowledge her own shortcomings in our marriage. It’s only been about two weeks and she’s reached out constantly but only because she’s mad at me over something. What happens when I was the one that felt smothered, and controlled by her anxieties? I pulled back to get a breath of fresh air and she said I had mixed feelings (which may not be completely wrong for a period of time but I wasn’t going anywhere and I told her I was where I wanted to be) and then she ran? I never ignored her, we talked every day, I can admit that I had gotten a little distant during quarantine (we quarantined apart). I just feel so steamrolled by this whole thing. She dumped me via text, I was not happy about that and reacted to that probably worse than I should have. I reached out a week later asking to talk, she said no. I stated some of my feelings, both about the relationship and the way I actually felt about her, said I would respect her decision and went no contact. This one hurts. I’ve known and loved this woman for the 12 years I’ve known her and for the year long actual relationship. I’m just about 2 months into no contact. I haven’t reached out or tried to see her and neither has she. But I don’t really fit in this video. I would really like to spend my life with this woman. It sucks because I really tried to love this woman freely and did not try to control her AT ALL, I was not jealous (though I suspect she had a few moments where she tried to manipulate me by trying to make me jealous which did not work). She was by FAR the most anxiously attached person I have ever met and I’m sure she feels like I abandoned her or that I was going to when I wasn’t. I just needed to breath not end it. She was just so incredibly clingy, manipulative and codependent towards the end. I even talked to her about it which she took poorly. She never thought too highly of herself. She would refuse to allow me to love her a lot. She thought pretty poorly about herself and I was constantly trying to boost her up which was never enough as she would just never accept it. If I did anything or paid for anything she would act like she didn’t deserve it.... which really hurt. It really blows to be so in love with someone in ways they can’t even see in themselves but you can, being a slave to their anxieties and them just not realizing that you’re pushing for a healthier relationship. I don’t want to feel like I’m put on a pedestal. I don’t want to feel like someone is trying to buy my love. All I wanted was to love her, to be loved back and to have a partner. Ugh this sucks and my situation just doesn’t fit any of these videos I see.

I clicked on your videos when I was feeling lost and vulnerable, and you have helped me feel a lot stronger and more self-assured. I am working on the mindset that I am the prize. In the beginning of our relationship, I was the “prize” but over time that reversed and he broke up with me. We kept in contact and he strung me along for months. I cut that off about a month ago. I blocked him for a week then unblocked him but didn’t talk to him. He reached out to me the other day apologizing for treating me like trash. He said I deserved a lot more and that he didn’t give it to me, and said he was sad. I just said thanks and said I was sorry he was sad. I can’t tell what his intentions are. I think he doesn’t know what he wants. I’m done being strung along though, I won’t provide support to him until he shows he knows my worth. Do you have any advice for me? Thanks
