- PART 1 of a video series that includes step-by-step instructions to remove, replace and re-install 300ZX fuel injectors.
PART 1 shows how a misfiring 300ZX sounds compared to one properly running. Explains how to confirm a misfire and identify which cylinder. Explains how to test at 300ZX fuel injector.

best 300zx explainer thanx man
I have a 1993 Nissan 300zx 2+2. Bought the program Nissan Data Scan 1 for it and also a scanner and it didn't work. Any advice?
Bro my z32 n/a had the same problem but on #1 cylinder so I replaced injector and still misfiring need help @everyone
Can you please tell me what kind of exhaust are those. I like it
I believe the flanges, cans, resonators and flanges are all from Burns Stainless. Can be purchased thru Motovicity.
What were you measuring with the thermometer to determine which cylinder was missing?
were you measuring exhaust header temperature? or sparkplug temps?
Andrew Ford Exhaust temp for each cylinder. Much easier if you have headers. Not sure if it will work with factory manifold and heat shield
not sure how it'd work with my turbos either :/
I suppose I could run the car up to temperature, and then pull the coilpacks off and measure sparkplug temps?
I think you will hear the sound of the engine change if u pull coils and you will have ur answer...but would also be fun to check plug Temps as a confirmation. If pulling plugs doesn't uncover the problem it could be MAF, crank position or your transistor module which is located under the passenger side throttle body. O2 sensors are easy to check, if u unplug ur 02 sensor and problem goes away (or gets alot better) then you know it's a bad 02 sensor. This happened to me...chased an intermittent problem where car would idle but wouldn't run down the road....pulled 02 sensor connector and it went away!! Good luck!!
Did it smell like a lot of gas from the tail pipes whenever u turned the car on
Not obvious smell...it was a drive ability issue.
It’s weird my cylinder 1 was misfiring and the injector was bad, I changed the injector (new seals) and it reads .11ohms but I still am getting a misfire on that cylinder. I also changed my spark plugs and I’m at a complete loss
That's frustrating! Maybe there is a harness issue in the injector circuit - short out with two wires rubbing?
Could the plug coil be bad - you could simply move the coil to a different cylinder to see if the issues moves with the coil? Could do same to make sure plug is okay....
Harness issue in the spark plug circuit....I had a bad transistor years ago (electronic module under passenger side intake that caused misfire symptoms).
Good luck!!!
@@BroncoColdsteel thank u!
0 ohms means a short actually but still a dud.
Problem started after I changed my spark plugs and fuel filter before that my car was not misfiring on idle I don't know what I should do I replaced my mass flow oxygen censor also my ptu with harnesses I need some help please
What did you figure out?
I got the same problem
Are the spark plugs gapped correctly?
Just a shot in the dark but if the problem wasn’t there BEFORE you did your work then you should investigate the things you just worked on
Please. What the name of exhaust??
It starts out as Megan Racing test pipes from the headers, then I cut the pipes and welded in stainless flanges. The rest us made up of aluminum resonators and cans to keep the sound level down. There is an H-pipe as well...all aluminum.
lol i'm in NFG territory

Have you found the issue? I have the same problem
Same
@@blakemishima1207did you find the problem yet?
