    I found fuel injector clips can be easily removed by using a hook shaped pick to pull the small pin up before attempting to disconnect, this job is really not that daunting. Good vid, thanks.

    Use 5” extension ratchet 10mm for egr and you can fit your arm under brake master cylinder and go under everything from there. I got both egr pipes disconnected in 10 mins doing that. Might be harder to if its a manual tho

    Thanks. I don't know which hoses are the coolant and PCV etc. etc. that I need to cut. You skipped past these quite quickly

    Hey man! I highly doubt I will get a response, but the vacuum line on the balance tube closest to the brake booster is what I am held up at. I cannot find where it goes

    • @RaheesGarage
      @RaheesGarage  6 лет назад

      google " vacuum diagram 300zx na/tt " whichever gets you a result you will see the full vacuum diagram and be able to figure out what goes where

    Also I wanted to comment on this video to get a higher chance of you responding. I installed new brake rotors and pads. Bled each caliper. And I feel no pressure in the system. The brake pedal goes way down and once I feel the brake pads rubbing. It hardly brakes the car. I was told it's the caliper pins? Old and smudgy (Long screw driver looking things)

      I highly doubt it, its an old car, there could be a vacuum leak or a faulty brake booster, I cant say the procedure from the top of my head, but i have bought new silicon vacuum lines for as many things as i could, if that doesnt fix my issue with braking ( i have weak brakes even after replacing every brake component ) i will replace the brake booster and clutch master cylinder and go from there. they say its supposed to have good brakes.

      +Rahee's Garage yeah. Something is clearly wrong.
      If people are using Z32 brakes on 240zxs they must be that amazing. But not for me. I'll look into it more.
      I was told there is another bleeder passenger side below the back speaker where air gets caught.

      The ABS unit (which is behind passenger seat) also has a bleeding point as well....

    I have a coolant line that’s leaking hella and it’s under the plenum by the intake and maf sensor... is there a way I can fix it or some without taking the plenum off? Seems like to much work and the engine is running fine

    This is one of the most irritating jobs on this car when you havent done the deletes. I just ended up pulling it out and cutting every hose attached.

  • @Siillky
    @Siillky 8 лет назад +1

    You don't need the coolant lines that you cut? Sorry if this is a dumb question

    • @RaheesGarage
      @RaheesGarage  8 лет назад +3

      the ones under the plenum you dont need to use them. Take off the bolts and throw them away, they are to warm up the throttle bodies for emissions. all you have to do is reroute two seperate lines that go into the throttle body, I will upload a video soon that demonstrates the process. There is also a video up on youtube that explains the procedure on NA 300zx's
