Thank you all for this and more. Thank you Ed Piskor, you’ll be missed a lot.
Great stuff right here. RUclips needs more people enjoying comics instead of people whining about comics!
Fuck yeah!!! Marra, Mafood!!!!! The crew is complete!!!! Best damn comics show. Period!!!! (Ed!!! You are working your ass off. on these vids. We appreciate !!)
I’m all for praising Jim Starlin for his work on Captain Marvel, but it was Roy Thomas who created the switching into another dimension CM, which was a homage to the original CM.
Ed - don’t short change yourself. I would love to hear more about your collaboration with Harvey.
John Ridgeway, the artist in the Miracleman Family sequence, was the original artist on Hellblazer. Recently revisited those issues and there are a ton of interesting panel layouts.
These videos are so great, thanks for making them
This was a lot of fun, thank you fellas.
I wish the reprints wouldn’t mute the colors. I have to be honest when I knew less I always liked the muted colors better, but those psychedelic colors are a treat.
awesome I love these! thanks so much!
“The apologists say that the first car I threw was empty.... “I’m sorry, but that’s just not true.”
That Foster montage also seemed to inspire Simon and Kirby in Captain America's "Case of the Black Witch" (page 8}.
Nice talk. I'm interested in that Alan Moore stuff that they were talking about. Where he talked smack about that person who made some how to comic thing?
I agree with Ben about the the perfect prose filled caption box being a lost art. Where's Doug Moench when you need him?
As a heads up, Loa is pronounced like Low
