The marvel edition of Miracleman, should have made two versions. The one with the 1970's artstyle from Eclipse comics. And the second one with updated color palette from marvel.
The Miracleman comics by Alan Moore, is amazing. The Eclipse comics edition, has a color palette something like comics from the 1970's. Miracleman A Dream of Flying, is technically a bronze age story. Not a dark age story. The dark age of comics actually began in the 90's. Done by Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, and Rob Leifeld. Watchmen is actually from the post bonze age comics era.
I had never heard of this at all, but started watching these and reading a couple of them... it's amazing. Thank you guys for having such an amazing channel.
This is my favorite comics channel. Love the Moore coverage but it's all been great including the Wizard magazine coverage and the haul videos. Also big fan of both of your comics work.
Would love to hear you guys talking other more obscure Moore stuff, like his Captain Britain run with Gary Davis or his run on Supreme with Sprouse and Veitch. I mean if you cover Judgment Day you can talk Moore and Liefeld in the same show!
i would love a show and tell on that complete EC library you have over your desk... i didnt even know it existed and now i have some serious comic lust.
Was genuinely gobsmacked and concerned for MM at this final scene when read this for first time ( before watching your awesome breakdowns) - am missing Jim, but ed and tom, you bringing such knowledge my way, am gonna go and read it again now) Big love from UK
I don't think you guys mentioned that the big fight is sort of a homage to the original Captain Marvel versus Black Adam story. Somehow it seems very Alan Moore to me that he twists the end of the fight so that instead of the heroes getting a win by tricking the villain into saying his magic word like in the original story, Miracleman is totally hapless and just passively watches the villain defeat himself.
33:05 "they took a baby from a state-run children's ward" as we'll say in coming issues, that'll be something the government is far too willing to do over again.

Please have Tom on when you unpack Watchmen, his analysis and insights are always on point!

I have the hardcovers that marvel printed of miracleman and Moore's name isn't on them. It says Story: "The original author"
Thank you for doing this.. I'll be watching Moore!
Keep on Miracleman. Seeing Top Ten on the table made me get out my collection. Please consider it in your programs.
