Lol😂 someone call the 🔥 fire department a Pinto is on fire 😂. A great race 🚥🏁🏆. Congratulations to to all the winners moving on today 👍. Hi Richard and Aaron and GTR 🙂👋. Thank you so much for sharing this video and God bless 🙏
BLR with a pickup that just takes off at twice the speed in the middle of a race...its a build we all strive to beat 😂 So much more contact and passing on the new track. Its exciting to watch multiple times as every race has something new to watch each time.
Great build bro. Truck🚚 looks awesome. Suspension maybe just a tiny bit high as it seemed in the 1st race, but you pulled it bk nicely in the last 3 races. Awesome job bro, keep it up 💯👌🇬🇧🥳
Ahh the 70's. After church my sister and I would fold the backseat flat in the Pinto and lay in the hatchback under that big glass rear window on the Sunday drive. I remember us both getting a sunburn one time.
Exhibit A in how a host builds a story based on the unfolding action and the cars involved!! I'll bet this episode was super fun to script the announcing for!! The Pretzel Turn, half-pipe and jump continue to entertain like so little else in the game! Action aplenty and with the cameras in place to capture it all! First round racing, so the dominant teams showed their stuff early and often today, congratulations to them! 💯😎🏁
Thanks, Chris. Your comments are always so thoughtful. I do appreciate that you highlighted the still cameras to pick up all the action. These builders put lots of effort and creative skill into their builds, so I dont want the front runner to steal all the aire time.
@@gravitythrottleracingThat’s a sure sign of mutual respect. You build some beautiful tracks and put together these awesome videos, Mark. I also enjoy seeing your vehicles at other races too. I’m eagerly waiting for Crazy Canuck to get the Vans and Gassers running. I want to see your entries go. If we run together, I hope my Baja Breaker Econoline and 55 Chevy gasser play nice.
My first car was a Ford Pinto (bought by my parents when I got my license in '77). Bright orange! (My favorite color at the time.) I _loved_ that car! Then that B.S. report came out and my mother got scared that it would explode. So they traded it in on a '78 Pinto wagon. Not as much fun, though it was better for date-night parking at Bernhart's Dam. 😁
@gravitythrottleracing Well, there's an "exploding Pinto" (or "Pento," according to the auto-generated subtitles 😆) in this vid, so I thought I'd share. 😁
@@MichaelPizI had a 1976 Mustang II coupe with a 302 V8.. and I loved that car! A local racer had a Pinto hatchback that he put a 302 into and it was a monster on the track. Those recalls gave us much safer gas tank mounts on later cars. The exploding Pinto joke is still funny but they really were good little cars at the time and sold very well. I don’t recall anyone I knew actually disliking their Pinto or Mustang II, especially in New Jersey where the road salt in the winter would rot out a Datsun and Toyota in a few years. As badly as the Fords rusted, so did most of the other brands of equal or higher quality.
@billysmidway7032 Pintos were popular among the drivers at the Reading Fairgrounds half-mile oval dirt track, about a mile in a direct line from the house I grew up in. My favorite, Kenny Brightbill, raced his number 19 Pinto for many years. By the time Reading shut down, Brightbill had won more races there than anyone. And I wonder how many even remember the Datsun name. I don't recall any of the old modified stock car racers driving foreign cars.
Awesome fun and exciting racing. Gratz to all drivers moving on. Nicely done. Another fantastic show. Excellent everything. 1,001 thumbs up! Great job Mark. "Keep your roof to the Sun". Mahalo! 🤙🏽
Moichendising? I've heard good things. Burnt Lime Racing was trying to look for the Pinto and kept getting distracted. Are there extra points for blowing up Billy's train? Pinto points?
Me too. I had a Mustang II that got a lot of flack too. I loved the Pinto and Mustang II. They were much better than they get credit for.. and they were literally everywhere in North America for many years. Deacon’s Pinto is really cool looking. I hope we get a chance to see it again. The stripes remind me of T.C.’s helicopter on Magnum P.I.
Haha! 😂 You don't know how much fun I had with your Pinto! Thanks so much for submitting it. I will say that the weight of the front bumper was enough to destabilize the Pinto and cause it to swap ends.
Gotta give props to Koontz for detailing the bottom of his entry, and all the rest of it, for just such an occasion as he gave us at 9:26. Well done!

@ thanks Jason
Hillarious Pinto! Great racing action! Congrats to those who survived!😂

@ my brother had one in '77 or '78... it had a big dent in the hood where he punched it with his fist... it was such a POS!
Badass, super-cool, crazy-good, and really really fun.
That PInto was wreaking HAVOC!!!!!!!!! And still had some great races.
Sure made for a fun story.
OH Boy, Let's go. Race 1 just started. I like the foreshadowing.
The Great Sand Dunes. Racing with grit. So fun to watch 🏁

Awesome racing. I always look forward to your video. The car, the camera angles, the production, always come together so well. Thank you
Thank you!!
Ah the 70’s memories. The flaming Pinto makes my day. ❤
That Pinto, the "Prince of the Crash and Burn", that was a fun one.
You know a tournament is starting to “heat up” when a 4x4 Pinto rolls in. 😅 Good times! Congrats to those advancing. 🤘🏼
Some fast and hairy runs today!
Great racing and production again!
Good luck all, Cheers
Awesome racing again at the Dunes. Great, close, competitive racing is just what we're here for 💯👌🇬🇧🥳
wow, more great racing!
2 train take downs!
Loved the Pinto! Enjoying this so much I’m bummed that I have to wait so long between videos! 😄
Thanks for the high praise. I wish I could go faster myself.😅
@ I hear ya. I imagine it’s a ton of work. Thank you for all that you do!
Great show Mark!!! Someone call the fire department!! 🔥🔥🔥
Well done, my friend. 😊
Great Racing! Sand everywhere, Congrats to the Drivers moving on.
The track was lit up today, but not how we expected.
Getting better every time!!
An amazing moment to enjoy
A new race. Great way to start the day!! ♥️👍🏁 way to go Killa K! Representing S.C.!!
That was great . Pinto burst to the whole show was awesome. keep it up I'll keep watching.

@MichaelPiz I learned to drive a stick in my parents' 1972 Datsun 240Z.
Nothing like watching a GTR video while waiting for the dryer at the laundromat.
I wouldn't believe how much fun it can be to watch a race like this. Great camera, track, commentators 👍
Awesome production.
congrats
Hey thank you for that Pinto, I needed a good laugh today😅
Great show! That Pinto fire was so funny! 😁
Some great action with these groups. That pinto was one more crash away from becoming the next wmd. I look forward to seeing my truck in group 9.
Great racing as always.
Doesn’t matter which track it’s on, this was just pure fun entertainment to watch !!
Great stuff 👍🏼
Dang, I was really rooting for MDG. I should do some research into Matchbox fantasy castings...
Another round of solid competition. Big ups to all the competitors 👍
Ah it is a great surprise to turn on the computer with some hot coffee and see Gravity Throttle Racing on the homepage!!
Thanks, Cody.
Explosive racing!
Great races, guys ! Good thing that explosive car didn't get on the tracks in front of Billy 😮😅 💥
Awesome fun and exciting racing. Gratz to all drivers moving on. Nicely done.
Another fantastic show. Excellent everything. 1,001 thumbs up! Great job Mark.
"Keep your roof to the Sun". Mahalo! 🤙🏽
Great races! Congrats to the winners!
The Pinto starting on fire was amazing.
Some exciting racing as always! Congrats to everyone moving on!
I love the color choice and design for Big Cat's baja truck. So glad we will be seeing more of him.
Me too! On top of the blue base is a decal wrap that he designed himself.
grear races
Thanks for commenting.
Explosive entertainment! 😮❤
The speed is there, I’ll take a win with a DNF but it’s going to be tough to win with a lifted truck.
Satisfying Result?
You've got the weight low enough. 18 points with 3 finishes is nothing to sneeze at.
@ yes sir, Ty
Definitely fast.
Hey Mark ! I just re-watched this episode and caught my logo at the finish line. Thanks for the recognition 🙏 the sign looks great 👍 😎🏁🏁🏁🐅
Really great races! They should bring the Pinto back as an EV
An all Pinto team needs to show up at Junkyard Joust!😂
Don't tempt me with a good time!@@gravitythrottleracing
Love it, better racing than with the scrambler
good show!
Awesome track love the show keep up the good work
Moichendising? I've heard good things.
Burnt Lime Racing was trying to look for the Pinto and kept getting distracted.

Pinto points! 😂🤣
I was hoping the pinto would go farther in the series.

GR8 SHOW!!! That was 🔥lol
GR8FUL 4U ALL
GR8FUL SAM
Perfect video. How could you not have a fire if you have a pinto in the race. Did you get any waivers from 3D?
Need to do a collaboration with 3dbotmaker . Pinto vs mustang
Then we can get Richard saying “Fatality!” 😂
Burnt Line Racing. 🤣🤣 That Pinto does not like BLR for some reason.
lol
"That guy wins too much!" 😂
I'm rooting for the Pinto lol
Well, that was... disappointing.😊
Best of luck to all of those that are continuing on.
Haha! 😂 You don't know how much fun I had with your Pinto! Thanks so much for submitting it. I will say that the weight of the front bumper was enough to destabilize the Pinto and cause it to swap ends.
Lesson learned for the next time!@@gravitythrottleracing
Your Pinto was robbed. Obvious sabotage. 🤫🤔
Pinto was a fantastic addition to this tournament for entertainment
@droe2570 😆
Not that it would have made any difference to the overall result, but why didn't the Pento get 2 bonus points for stopping the train in G7 R4?
Because the train had already been derailed. It's almost like a separate race for the 2 extra points. First to stop Billy's train claims it.
@@gravitythrottleracing Ah, ok... so it is only available 1 time during a 4 race heat?
@TalkingGIJoe correct!
✌✌👍👍👍💥💥
