Wow! Congratulations to the winner! BLR had a tough break right at the end, and Bolo Brown using that hummer like a battering ram to take spots. Amazing race!
Intense racing !! BLR was the best car out there but missed at the end. Great racing!! Can’t wait for the next one. And going back to og track or rally cross
No ticket? Man, these airlines get _harsh_ with the rules 🤣 I got too excited to see new Dunes action that I missed noticing the plane entirely until my second watch, even with Aaron Take mentioning it so pointedly!
WOW and I mean WOW! That was an awesome race! Super intense the whole way through. It seems like when it comes down to the line some of these drivers want it so bad and push it so far to the limit that they go flying out of the halfpipe! It really goes to show that they'll put it all on the line for victory, but sometimes you have to reign in the speed in favor of control. Great race from everyone, regardless!
Incredible race. Congratulations 👏 to the winner 🏆🏁. A great performance from everyone today. Hi Richard and Aaron and GTR 🙂👋😁. Another awesome video 💯👍. Thank you so very much and God bless. Are you Tracking?.😂

What a nail biter. I see someone picked a bad time to play superman. Some intense driving today. Way to go everyone. Going to need some Jameson in my coffee after that
I really love this track and commentary! I think it’s a shame that the car that was clearly the best car today, with the track record and who finished in first 5 of the 8 races doesn’t advance. I think some tweaking is needed in the scoring. As someone said the penalties and bonuses weigh a bit too heavy but keep doing what you’re doing it’s a lot of fun!
You have to come through in the clutch at crunch time. It's like when Norwood shanked that field goal and the Buffalo Bills allowed the New Jersey Giants to win the Stupor Bowl.
It certainly was a nail-biter! The episode was "the best" because the builders are the best. Seriously, all I have to do is immerse myself in the commentary.
That was a who's who of racing. Wow what a great group and a great pass lots of battles wow!! Another great video!! Congratulations to the one moving on!!!
Time to grab my Emotional Support Diecast for this one, and I'm not even competing! [the '73 Jeep J10, for those curious] I want give a hearty _second_ to Kitterman's thoughts. . .anyone watching this episode and doesn't smash all the algorithm functions must be allergic to fun or something!! No doubts why these four today are in the A Class event, and the support crew for the sole surviving team will be busy with refits and repairs because nothing was left in these vehicles after eight laps of tenacious, all out racing at the Dunes! A nail biter to the very last, with just a sprinkle of that "commentators curse" thrown in too, I noticed!
on race 8, from the looks of it BLR probably did break the finish line “plane” so should get 3 points. I would love to know where the land ended up, before or after the finish line plane. Next dune race, if don’t cross the actual marked finish line I.e. on the track, 0 pts. Eliminate the -1 pt for some of the coal car landings, wreck train only +1
Where did BLR end up? The video shows he ended up short of that vertical plane you're speaking of. Thanks for the feedback on the scoring. Goal posts will be erected at the finish line. I may alter the scoring for future tournaments on the dunes.
That's right. A second place finish would have done it. Very heart-breaking for the guy. When I film, I have no idea what the final score is. You can imagine how thorough I needed to be double and triple checking each score.
Great races ! Too bad for Bolo and congrats to Uncle Elvis ! BUT 😮 Hey Mark who the heck is JB ? With Triple B ? If I can please make the correction for you. I am "Triple B" (the driver) "Shredder Speedway" is my track, i.e., group "Cheap Thrills Racing" is my team. Thanks Mark ! I know you have a lot of people to keep "track" of 😂 😊
The half pipe is giving the scrambler a run for its money for biggest racetrack obstacle. Being fast on this course is not as important as driver control.
Love the racing but I would like tweaks to the points system. 5, 3, 2, 1 for the racing and 1 for landing on 4 wheels after the jump. Penalties seems harsh and unecessary. Too many extra points devalue the races. This would be elegant and reward winners fairly. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Right now, +1 is the landing bonus. I don't completely view the extra points or penalties as devaluing. To me, it is a reward for skilled builders. That said, BLR had five first place finishes. If the scoring was 5 pts for first, he would have won. Increasing point totals for finishing, such as 8,6,4,2 instead of 4,3,2,1 would lessen the influence of bonuses and penalties. These have been my thoughts as of late.
You bet! Despite the unfortunate ending, you have hit the bullseye on proper weight placement and distribution when it comes to a high lift truck. Great work, my friend!
@@BlueLineRacing-dp1pp You have all the right to be mad, from being on control for the whole tournament and lose out by a single mistake at the very end. Because the car itself is still top tier, one that would win under normal conditions.
No points lost If they straddle the coal car. A few times you'll see someone end up between the coal cars. It may look like they're in, but they're not. The basic rule is a point is lost if part of the body is down inside the coal car.
On the fourth race in the first series, I don't think BLR actually crossed the line. He clearly went off the track before his truck cleared the line. Shouldn't a finish actually be crossing the line on the track?
This question comes up regularly. For this first event, the A and B Classes, on a new track, the host is granting equal leniency to all. For now, imagine the physical finish line extends infinitely on both ends. The rules may or may not tighten up in the future I know a host who won't grant ANY points if you finish upside down on your roof. Still enjoy his show, too.
@@Chris_Hood But, I don't think he crossed the line even after he left the track. He certainly didn't do it on video. I am assuming he went off the table, just like he did later on in the video, and he wound up losing by like a point, but it shouldn't have even been that close due to his failure to cross the line this time. The whole point of having a track is to stay on it.
