Hi Dave, quick correction that night help your performance: you can set Draw Cars as low as you want (and get loads of extra performance while racing), and it won't affect your replay. As long as "max cars" is on 63, the sim knows where all the cars are and saves it all to the replay, it just doesn't draw them while you're driving. Also any 3rd party tool that does track positioning of the other cars will act just fine, because of the Max Cars 63 setting. So you can safely turn Draw Cars down and get free performance
I can't believe I haven't heard of this until now. I love that you can set up your own profiles. I like having things cranked up when I'm just practicing or in a race with only 20-ish cars. But when I run an endurance race with 50+ cars, and I don't want to risk framerate issues, I usually turn some things down to make sure I have plenty of overhead. Now I can just click a profile instead of manually tweaking settings.
Brilliant Dave , had the program for ages but only because triple problems, it cured my problems instantly Thanks for explaining other bits though for a late 50s sim racer
Dave, you’re a life saver! Ever since the last update my graphics have been crap. No mater what changes I made, it was terrible. I DLed this program and presto!-make to normal. Thanks so much. I’ll be kicking the developers some money.
Great program i also saw it from Dan Suzuki. What ive noticed is with Nvidia surround it seems to mess with the visuals even though it should all be off/default but when i use Irsidekick the images look super crispy as you say the FPS is much better. The only problem is for people using Philips Hue fpr ambient lighting on their rigs because you can pick any of the areas on the side screens for your capture area you set with the philips hue PC app because it onpy sees one screen at a time so either all 3 as 1 in Surround or centre monitor with Irsidekick. Not really an issue as mosy people capture the area on the centre screen anyway but sometimes you capture the rear view monitor in the car and somwtimes thats not all on the centre screen so then you need too run the virtual mirror which in turn takes away too much FPS which will be more than the gain using Irsidekick but sidekick obviously has more going for it than just the FPS gain Cheers Dave.
I like the part where it’s simple to switch to single for replays reviews. You running surround. I use bezel correction, I wonder if that would still apply
Will check this out as I've been having a nightmare with iRacing resolution/window settings recently swapping from desk single to ultrawide single, even though it was working pretty much fine before
Same since the last patch they did my FPS has been all over the place am not stable. While running a 4090 and 13900k which had zero issues last 2 seasons
You need to reserve some for the operating system and other applications that aren't iRacing. It's a pretty standard number. Also, you will see that it's rare for more than 8GB of video memory to be used. MSI Afterburner or other similar programs will log the max memory usage. @@ReactionSimRacing
Hi Dave, thanks for bringing this application to light for the community. I drive exclusively in VR, does this application help for VR users? Just wondering before I download on my Pc. Thank you for your time mate.
started using this a week ago as through the game it wouldnt set my triples up so someone on the forums told me about it. Also why do you have a -19 on both of ya monitors on the left and right?
Doesn’t matter how long things have been out for as we don’t all try things straight away. I’ve been using the Nvidia game filters but it’s hit and miss whether it works. Also when new drivers are released your settings are lost. So I switched to ReShade and it’s awesome. And yes I know it’s been out for a few years.

Great vid man, def gonna check this out, thanks for sharing!
Flipping the bird at 5:18 is the cherry on top! :D
Haha, I saw that in the edit 🤣
NIce find, like an Easter Egg - think Mac Evad should shoot you an iRacing GC for that. LOL!!

Not long upgraded to ddr5 with a 4090 and loads of heated rows with the missus when she checked the bank statements AND NOW YOU SHOW ME THIS! 👍😅
Amazing that we don't have to go on track to change things lime we do normally.
thank you Dave for giving us a channel for us enthusiasts that has content every day, thank you very much
Brilliant Dave , had the program for ages but only because triple problems, it cured my problems instantly

I didn’t see it in the drop down, but a vr tab would be great

Good find Dave. This could come in handy for when I need to do a full windows re-install and export/import my iRacing settings.
Just copy all your config files or even the whole folder to the new windows installation
Superb software. Thanks for sharing Dave!
Excellent bit of Software thanks Dave mate 😉
I am eating breakfast, then loading up pc snd getting this program. Thanks Dave 🎉🎉
Thanks dave. I will try this. But it looks amazing. Better then editing text files 👍🙂
Great video Dave, your channel is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
I always thought it would be just interesting for triple monitor setups. Thanks a lot for this eye opener, Dave!
I'll be downloading this tonight certainly. Cheers Dave.
Thanks Dave! Without me thinking about this too hard, would this still count if I was ru ning iracing on oculus vr?
very similar to content manager for Assetto corsa, makes life alot easier
Hadn't heard of it. Will check it out. Thanks.

Hello, how well does it work for VR?
It would interest me too
Was just about to ask😅
Great video dave, I will be trying it out for sure.
Hi Dave, will this work in VR ? Thank you!
Thanks Dave 🤩🏎

Looks interesting Dave.
Just back from holiday so need to catch up on all the videos I've missed during the last week.
👍
Julie and I were just saying we'd not seen you around. Hope you had a great time 😁
We had a great time thanks Dave.
Theres nothing like a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords.
Nice one Dave, I will have a look.
Hi Dave, very interesting program, thanks.
We cannot use more video memory and RAM than in the game settings, there are also 16 and 32 GB, respectively
Does this work with VR?
iRSideKick says yes but a bit clunky 😊
Dave, don't forget to adjust your memory sliders on the different profiles. Best for video is 85% of your total video memory. :)
Can I ask why it's only 85% and not 100%. Thanks

Hey Dave I was wondering if you make any modifications within the Nvidia control panel/3D settings as well? Cheers
This is great!!!
working with VR?
Nice review Dave...
Do you need to have this running in the background?
Nope 😁
good job dave
they need to add config page for different wheel setups, then it will be a mustbuy)
irSidekick has that. It's in the controls module. Dave just showed the profiles module.
Hi Dave, thanks for bringing this application to light for the community. I drive exclusively in VR, does this application help for VR users? Just wondering before I download on my Pc. Thank you for your time mate.
It caters for VR profiles, it's a little clunky due to iRacing sharing the app.ini with both monitor and VR
@@irsidekick amazing, thank you for the reply mate. Will giver a download. Love from Canada!
@@richardoplehow'd you go? Any noticable change in Fps?
Is the better suited for Nvidia card or does it work equally well for AMD cards as well?
Genius!
will this help with VR?
I want to know this too, might try and report back
Apparently it does. Program maker replied to comment asking same on an earlier reply
Supports it VR?
Yes
You say, you can use more memory with irsidekick than in the iRacing grapic options, but this is not true - iRacing changed that for a while.
Dave is probably thinking about the old maximum slider values prior to season 4.
Does anyone calculate their performance and adjust the slider to suit or is it best to just whack them to full?
Don't suppose it works for VR too?
It does, a little clunky but gives you separate audio for monitor and VR
my irsidekick isn't giving me an option to export my settings. is there something i need to set up?
Hey mate. What setting is it that affects the brakes glowing or not? I’ve never been able to work it out.
I believe it's the HDR setting
started using this a week ago as through the game it wouldnt set my triples up so someone on the forums told me about it. Also why do you have a -19 on both of ya monitors on the left and right?
By accident. As I was messing around in windows. It's sorted now 👍
How do I download?
Iv tried to download this but it wants me to pay I thought you said if u want multiple ones only??
Yes that's correct. The free version only has one profile
Here is the tutorial on searching for an iRacing setting:
ruclips.net/video/UPawmlkqLJg/видео.html
Does the offsets on the monitor position mean yo don't use NVIDIA surround?
No I don't use surround 👍
The program can configure iRacing on NVidia surround or native triple monitors.
downloadable through discord or is there a link to all these utilities?
Through the discord
Link the program?
I think daves just destroyed the discord
Has anyone gained FPS using this
Me 👍
15 bucks for a fancy config file editor? I get it for simhub but not for that
Edit: simhub not simlab
It is free
If you want all the features it's $15. But more importantly it supports the people who work hard so we can have these things.
That is not simple, this is ridiculos.
Dan suzuki already posted this a year ago .. but nice program tho
I did say it'd been out a while 👍
I missed it a year ago
