I paired the bow with path of burning steps and font of might, with one shot on Gary did 67,000 when cataclysmic with bait and switch did 76,000. That’s without the catalyst definitely going to try in a grandmaster. Even better if you pair a warmind cell mod to make the ring super big
So glad the dungeon exotic is as good as it is, its perk really makes it feel exotic. Wasn't a huge fan of heartshadow from duality, thankfully I didn't have to grind for it as I got it in my first 5 clears.
would be worth mentioning its damage at its minimum being that far is less common in GMs and such when champs and rooms are more close quarters. the dmg is on seekers is half at its minimum, which makes the dps significantly worse
Definitely true but personally oftentimes I find myself trying to down champions from further away so they can’t one shot instant kill me. Plus even if it isn’t max range it still does insane dps for a primary, even without the catalyst
@@cyberius6 i never actually found one showing the close range, aztec hardly mentioned it and ehroar's video was actually just bad. the rest were random gameplay and it was there i saw the seeker dmg was very low when shooting a thrall up close compared to one in the way way back.
I just like that hierarchy is also great for ad clear, and damage. It’s something that not many weapons have but the ones that do, I always appreciate. Things like rockets, ghorn, outbreak, witherhoard, etc. Exotics that can be a jack of all trades are usually in the meta, or get time to shine every so often and I always like that. I just hope bungie doesn’t decide to nerf hierarchy because it is really fun and I feel like it’s in a great spit
What is the dps compared to linears when someone is on stasis and are using whisper of rending. Could potentially use bleakwatcher build to keep freeze procs up giving you a decent 40%buff?

I can confirm you DO NOT need the bow equipped to get the catalyst to drop. I got the bow on my first clear, and did the master run the day after, i had it in my inventory but it was not equipped and i got the caty.

I was hoping it was going to be a stasis ad clear. It would be perfect to have an effect for stasis like incandescent or chain lightning. Imagine it, a sort of globally shaped snowflake that explodes outward in all directions from the center of the arrowhead explosion or target hit, spreading and freezing/exploding ads... IK it's not legendary for as clear but man, once you get the perk rolling 6 kills is almost nothing with those seekers, so you often can chain the exotic effect against ads
do you not have a tikusdivination ? its almost exactly the same but you dont have the try and hug a static ring to be effective, tikus also does slightly more damge and dps, and wishender does a lot more while also having in built anti-barrier. I like the bow but it should have had in built warmind call utility, and/or been a stasis weapon I wouldnt be so dissapointed in it yes you can use the solar damage warming cell mod but its a rasputin bow it should have been default

„On my third run“ I just played that dungeon 9 hours straight to get it. In the mean time 3 tm8 got it. First tm8 got it after 5 hours, then both tm8s left. Next 2 tm8§ got it after 1 hour, back to back…

Your dps is a bit inflated as you did not fully draw any of those arrows, so the shot damage will be lower. You can see your shots aren't full draw because the box around the icon on the sight does not glow (you can do it a frame earlier, but those are fired way faster than that). It's about 1 second between each shot at full draw. Though at slightly less than full draw the main shot does only 5% less damage so it might be worth it to fire before full draw anyway.
It kinda doesnt, HoN pretty much does everything ticuus does better, aside from ticuu perhaps being easier to activate the explosion since you don't need kills
I was at 1586. We ran rockets with 1 well, 1 nightstalker, and 1 striker titan. We had one person take care of the wires, one take the boss, and one take the champs. If you stand behind the pillars with the final nodes of the wires in the reactor room, the boss will just stand there and stare at you, making it a lot easier for everyone to do the wires.
@@imagineabuild you can completely cheese the wires using shatterwawe from shadebinder, the AOE triggers everything you just need to spam it and boom back to DPS in seconds
It looks amazing but I still can't see this being more useful than Ticuu because it can shoot 3 at a time and they all seek and you don't have to aim through a hoop, you can literally jump and do a 360 spin and still target and hit 3 enemies before you land, but it does look amazing 🤩
Seems to me this bow deals way more raw burst dmg and fires faster while Ticcus may be better for AoE + ad clear. I’m glad they have 2 solar exotic bows where the older one wasn’t outright replaced and still has its uses
@@CJSTRO12 It does deal more damage then ticcu's, but is limited in effect compared. You only get the faster draw time and reload while shooting through the guardian ring on top of the extra projectiles that deal more damage the further you are from the target. I can see it being a good option for dps once you use your other ammo's but you are pretty much forced to firing through the ring for it to be better then ticcu's, where ticcu can always have its bonus damage. Maybe if the catalyst would have instead placed the circle perpetually in front of your bow, no matter where you went, it would have been better and more useful, but that isnt what the catalyst does.

It's once per char per week. However you can increase the chance if you Look into the Triumphs. You get higher chance for the bow if you did: all collectibles, solo, flawless, solo flawless, master

What if u ran this with the stasis build and used the fragment that gives primaries extra damage to frozen targets? Since the turrets would constantly keep stuff frozen wouldn’t it just be like a free 40% buff or however much the fragment is??
Cool, high primary DPS I guess, but also you have to stand still and shoot through a relatively small ring.... Things like Outbreak just require you to shoot the enemy...
On the other hand, when are you using hight dps primary anyways? When you are out of ammo in a day 1 raid and that's about it. And there you stand still anyways Inside well of radiance

They did the same for duality, but not for kings fall. So i‘m guessing it‘s just gonna be for dungeons.

It makes warmind cells with the arrows with the explosive mod, so i think it's technically explosive?
Brycethewrecker yep, it's deemed explosive damage, wrath of Rasputin and explosive wellmaker will make cells and Wells respectively

You absolutely can keep grinding the dungeon over and over and get the bow to drop! To get the catalyst you have to complete the dungeon on master! :)
No it’s once per week per character for the exotic but other drops are farmable
