- Here's a very "free" and relaxing version of (Wind of Change) by Scorpions. This song on the harp guitar seemed to be very delicate so I tried to make it as melodic as possible, as the melodies in the song are what drives it. So you could say this is a classical "style" arrangement of the song. Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching!!

I was a Military Soldier when this song first rested my soul in the late 80"s. We would come back from war-games and when we returned from the fake battlefield we would sit in the dorms and listen to songs like this. The Wall In Germany came down almost the same time as the release of this song. It was a European Hit that Americans could not get enough of. This Cold War Classic is so beautiful because so much pain went into the spirit of it. Great Cover and as usual, you have recaptured it in your own unique style.
Reminded me of being in Berlin shortly before the wall came down. Everything was changing so fast then.

This song reminds me of Desert Storm. I was in Poland when Saddam invaded Kuwait. I later went to help clean up the mess at the end of the war. The "winds of change" on many fronts!

Yes, you are so right. It was written in the final times of the Soviet bloc. It was a powerful song for us living in the Bloc, hoping and believing better times were coming. Jamie, as always, conveys it beautifully.
