This is my go to rig anywhere I fish after the pva bags. It’s very effective and when you get them on the feed, big carp often slip up. Great stuff guys! Awesome channel for newcomers. I still like to watch as even experienced anglers can always learn.
Brilliant rig expect I used a small piece of silicone for the blowback effect rather than a rig ring but both are brilliant 🎣🎣 Multi rig would be good next
Do ya need the silicone sleeve above the eye of the hook ? … Does it help , sometime I think it can Cause hook pulls but the companies obviously want us to add this to our rigs as the Margin on silicone sleeves etc is fantastic .. personally I’ve had loads of big fish just using the ring & leaving enough of a gap between bait & hook for the point to turn & hook the carp .. Maybe they all work & @ the end of the day this RUclips channel continues to be one of the better carp fishing ones out there
@@davidchurchward2943 do you mean the kicker/line aligner? Yeah i would use one. Makes the hook turn perfectly inti the bottom lip. Not with a hook with a in turned eye tough, closes the gap too much.
@@thedutchgamerguy8580 yes I leave the kicker off & just use the ring .. I always use a curve shank hook Personally for the blowback rig & they get nailed bottom lip .. if others were catching more or much more I’d change but I really am sceptical about these kickers & how much they actually help
Great tutorial ... my brother and I are currently trying to catch big old never been caught carp (or not often) out of an old quarry..it's a stocked with trout by the club...which is nice as we catch trout on every rig/bait....last carp out a few weeks ago was 27lb.(not by us)...the first this year...come and fish it…about 50 old carp in about 3 acres of water..
This can be used with popups too. I did well at one of my local waters fishing a combi rig with a blowback ring. A piece of fake maize and a piece of matching coloured foam to add bouyancy
Can you make a presentation of Korda zig kit? It has quite a big bobber and it looks to me quite easy to use. But just to be 100% sure it would be great if you make a presentation of that product.
This rig works really well for me especially with pop up corn but probably every few casts ill come back with the hokk tangled round the hair any tips for stopping this ive tried pva nuggets but they take too long to dissolve im not a fan ???
Theory debate: Quite curious as to if this blow back business actually works. It’s not like anyone can get film footage close up of a carp sucking it in and blowing it out but the hook doesn’t move and thus pierces the lip easier (I can’t see how that’s even possible unless the hook was extremely heavy or a big shot way heavier than tungsten putty was placed just before the eye), and conversely the carp spitting it out successfully and the rig “re-setting” (uncoated braid has no spring back property, it’s not going to reset). I honestly doubt the theory into the mechanics of this blow back business ever made the difference in hooking a fish or not. If you have any footage proving that then do please show us 😛😛😛😛😛😛

The way with the ring the bait can move easier. Also the piece of silicon sometimes tears off when playing a fish.

Go to bottom bait and snowman rig find I use shrink tubing for bottoms and rig ring for snowman or wafters
