It is always interesting to see the dishes that the contestants come up with, but even more interesting to see the mix of people around the table. I did enjoy Elaine's quirkiness and creativity, but I imagine that after a few hours she could be a bit much. I have so much respect for Peter not only keeping bees but also doing what he can to help hedgehogs, especially the deaf one he had personally taken care of. He's got quite a cheeky twinkle in his eyes, a snappy dresser, and judging by those biceps, seems quite nicely built, too, if I may say so. :)

Bel Lita This was an odd group. I don't think any of them liked anyone or could cook. The Latin lady said "at least I didn't come in last" taking one last jab at the older lady. Why would anyone cut their hair at the table?
The last episode I watched was from 2011. Selfies and narcisstic traits are now prewailing and it's a bit sad. I like Elaine and I think she's wonderful. She's got depht which is rare these days. And, she's not a bad person at all!
I think Elaine got bullied for being different when she was young. Now her mentality is she will not care what people think and as such she feels free to say whatever is on her mind. By doing so she proves to herself that she doesn't care what others think. But you hold back on comments not for your own sake but for someone else's sake. If you are unwilling to give compassion to others, others are less willing to give compassion to yourself. I hope one day she realizes that. The others guests should have been less cruel to her as well.
Well I liked Elaine, she seems like a lot of fun, her art work is vibrant Just like her personality, she is rocking out her sixties in her own way and more power to her.
The distaste each of them had for one another was so palpable. All the insults and critiques being said aloud at the table was absolutely wild. This group HATED one another 💀
Hello from Malaysia! I love this show..been binge-watching it. I actually feel that while Elaine may grate..she seems like a really kind person. Wouldn't hurt a fly and without a malicious bone in her body. Just direct. Props to her for cooking a chicken. Peter and Isca were fun and seemed really nice. I would be fine with someone dropping lead balloon jokes at my dinner party..it just adds to the fun I feel. Lakhan is a pompous ass who is absolutely unfit to grace anyone's home with his douchey attitude. As a fellow Indian, I can safely say his food was basic at best for all the fuss he made of it. And really..who serves chapati without any kind of gravy??? Dave Lamb and whoever edits and chooses the music are AMAZING. Thanks for uploading! Now off to my next CDWM!

It really baffles me how someone who's vegetarian or vegan decides to make meat on their night. Just to "impress"? the others? I'm sure the other contestants would much rather get a glimpse into the host's lifestyle by some amazing non-meat dishes, rather than being served something the host doesn't like.
I understand your sentiments, however the usual reaction from the meat-eaters on this show is that they go the extra mile to prepare a veg dish for the non meat-eater therefore the non meat-eater should return the gesture for them. People that enjoy meat don't usually appreciate veggie dishes no matter how well they are prepared.
I recognize Peter from somewhere and I can't put my finger on it quite yet, or at least he resembles someone that I just can't recall. Elaine is like no one I've ever met, seen, or heard; truly one of a kind. Lakhan seemed nice until he opened his mouth divulging his narcissistic attitude. Last but not least is the Latin lady that was very vivacious, warm and very welcome along with Peter at my dinner table. BTW, are hedgehogs an endangered species? I don't think they are, because they are a blight on farmers's crops.

I saw a crime show here on YT wherein this lady moved from London and was feeding hedgehogs from her back door that upset the local farmers in the village to the point they were threatening her and avoiding her in the village. True, a hedgehog conservation group came to her aid. I can't recall why the farmers objected to hedgehogs, and I can't recall the title of the show, other than it was a crime, mystery, reality type show.
