thanks. Yes, if you haven't used the scan software for a while, it might hang, crash or freeze on startup and the in-software updater does not always work so best to uninstall and grab the latest.

Being able to follow step by step from scan to STL file, is the only way I learn. BTW I tried to buy you a cup of coffee, but was told I couldn't use my Visa card for that purpose. What I'm I missing here?
I got a couple more videos (hand scan and colour kit to go) and then I want to focus on a complete workflow from scan to 3d print which I think would be perfect for you. As for the visa card I'm not sure mate. Thank you though, the intention was there, I think sometimes the banks get a little controlling on where you can use your card online. I know I've had a couple sites where I couldn't use one card but another was fine.

Hello, any tip regarding scanning a black object, appreciated
Most all scanners with have a difficult time scanning black objects as the light absorbs and the camera doesn’t see it. What most people will do is spray with a dry powder to help the camera see the surface.
Which video has good information on using the color kit with the 3D Scanner?
I am working on that video now and should have available this week.
This video and one other ( appear to be the same ) are only found on RUclips as recently uploaded this one now 6 hours ago and the other 17 hours ago. But neither one can be found when I go directly to you channel and look for them? Whats going on?
I was wondering the same thing, might be a publishing issue. I originally unlisted the first one since I forgot to add the instagram broll and so I was pointing at nothing when I mentioned it. Only way to fix this was to reupload. Ill take another look and see whats going on and thanks for pointing it out.

Hello I can't remove the noise,... can't at all,... I mark it as I have, I hold down Ctrl, just the left button on the mouse and when I give delete there it does not delete me.
If it just on one model or any model? Try doing a new scan and just do one layer, see if that works first.
