Almost home, hits home for me. I have a little different take on the song though. Having a brother who struggles with addictions and has been homeless for a long time. One of the last times I saw him he said “ I’m tired Ninny. I wish Jesus would take me home”. In the song I imagine a tired homeless man in the cold on the edge of crossing over to our forever home. We had a daddy who farmed and a momma who always had dinner waiting for us. My brother was also chased by bees one time and helped my daddy on the hay fields. So this song just means so much to me and I continue to pray for his recovery and a better future. Thank you Craig Morgan for the beautiful song.
I have always loved Craig Morgan. But after seeing this I have MAD respect and love him even more. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to get to know artists like this.

Vet to Vet, mad respect. Just discovered him and love his crisp and clear voice and his perspective. I follow Jelly Roll and appreciate his gritty experience. Then discovered Craig and am a quick fan. Way to go Soldier.
You can always learn more about Mr Morgan and it's great to hear from him and know him better. He has been very helpful to others I appreciate all of this ❤️
A few years back Craig and his family had a reality show that I enjoyed. I have so much respect for Craig! His faith and his love for his family is so refreshing! My heart ached for Craig and his family when his son passed away. His music is healing and uplifting. Thank you for having Craig on your show.
@Sandy Adams Higgins kindly drop your email address on here so i can add you up to my super fan’s list. So that we can get to know each other and keep this conversation constantly.
I just really really admire Craig. His sense of serving, etc. I’m not sure I could ever listen to “Almost Home” ever again. It was my husband’s favorite song of his. He just passed away after 41 years of marriage. This interview is wonderful!!!
Thanks for your service Mr Morgan, my father served in the UK armed forces. The Royal Navy, out in Aden in the 60', he used draw his gun licence and his Bren Gun to protect the ship he was serving on. He never ever spoke of it, and unfortunately we have lost contact at a time when I needed help. And haven't spoke since 08, I came close to death and he never said anything to me or since.
Craig morgen is so much uplifting and gives us hope that we will get to see heaven one day and see all of my family and friends I’ve lost over the years and ear waiting with the Lord all mighty God🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💯🇦🇺🦖🐨🦘🕊️🦋✊💪👍👍👍👋👋👋
I literally went to hell in another dimension and was there for 3 months. It happened in early 2018. And I didn't get ptsd. Some people are immune to such things. Oh and btw real hell is Millions of times worse then hell on earth. And I went through something even worse then hell. When I got back from hell only barely surviving when I came back to my body I noticed all the light in my soul was gone. And all my emotions were gone too and so was all my humanity and freewill. And I don't mean I didn't wanna feel any of these things I mean they were physically taken from me and I didn't realize that until getting out of hell. I had to live without those things for almost 2 years I couldn't even feel sadness. Anyway God saves me in 2019 of December it took him almost 2 years for him to save me but he did he restored everything they took from me In hell. I literally basically had almost my entire soul taken from me In hell. This is something none of you humans can relate to. At the most only some of you have experienced mentally losing your soul. But I hate to break it to you thinking you lost your soul cause of a heartbreak and actually having it taken from you are 2 very different things the difference is in the billions. Let me put this in a way you can understand going to hell like I did in another dimension was millions of times worse then hell on earth. But experiencing actual soul loss after hell was billions of times worse then hell on earth. I respect the military and everything and im not being rude or anything I'm just telling my story. Take it however you want. I'm just saying none of humanity including you knows what it's like to have your soul raped in hell. What you all go through is nothing compared to what I have been through. Unless one of you is Jesus and experienced what Jesus had to experience then none of you even know 0.00000001% of what I've been through and you never will.
