Can I ask why forced induction as opposed to, say, a 5.2/5.4 normally aspirated unit? I have a friend with a 5.4, Omex, Bosch injectors and MAF. With a mild cam he saw 370/410 on a rolling road. Obviously, some large costs associated.
Hi Nigel, Nice to go down a different route. I have also seen 5.0 litre engines through the Thor intake setups still only make 260bhp (obviously a bit better tore though). Of course I could switch the intake to a more conventional Gems setup for better flow however decided to take a different approach, play with some boost and see where it takes me. I believe a forged 4.6 build with good flowing heads and the right boost setup is a 600bhp figure (there are a few out there) so may end up there but at some point I think I have to think about the vehicle I put that engine in as the P38 might not be the right platform, but we will have to see :-)
Immense work!
Thank you.
Spoolie spoolie!
