It's run in now. Wheeee! That was fun to watch 👍👍. Motorcycle coppers aren't what they used to be when uncle Stu' and the Bingley Wheeler were a lad😁😁.
Love your riding style, don't worry too much about average speed cameras in a 60 limit, they are average after all and don't clock your speed as you pass's them. The bike seems very capable.👍
Hi Ian, nice ride, the Garmin sorted out a decent route for you, I've got mine on the Himalayan, but I'm considering buying a second wiring harness and cradle so I can swap it from one bike to another, Scorpio is certainly running sweet now she's passed the first service stage, I had mine done last week, but I've been unable to get out for a ride, hopefully that will change, take care .........Colin 😀
Thanks Colin. Yes, I was considering doing the same on Clementine, though I might try it on battery first, as I am rarely out for mor than a couple or three hours on the 350. By lowering the brightness, the internal battery should last longer. I will still need the bar mount though. Scorpio is fantastic, as you can possibly tell from my narrative 😂
I hope all goes well tomorrow Ian, do not worry about RUclips just look after your Mum and yourselves. We will see you when you return. Great blat on the Gurila now she has been serviced, just imagine an extra 2000 revs now, imagine when Scorpio is fully run in ! 😅
Hi Ian, great vid and well done with the new Sat nav and now you have more power now you are running in and first service also more power for you to in joy and a new mod the thunder box . Sorry for your loss and hopefully the funnel will go well for you and your family and you will be all right after
Thanks Paul. Yes loving the extra revs, really does bring out the naughty boy in me 😈😂 I am sure we will all be fine after tomorrow, but will stay with mum a bit longer, just to make sure she is fine.
Hi Ian ,good long run that, Scorpio's sounding well on the audio , and you're certainly enjoying yourself 😅, I'm behind on watching videos myself this week, needed to catch up, can't believe I'm four day's behind, but have had stuff to do this week, but can catch up now I've got a bit of free time! Enjoy those extra revs and horsepower, Cheers Mel 🍻
Thanks Mel, still down in Nantwich, hopefully back home tomorrow. Then see what the weather is doing 🤞 We do come back down in a couple of weeks, that’s when Clementine will be getting put into hibernation, leaving Scorpio to battle what this winter throws at us 😎
@ianhughesroyalenfield yeah, don't blame you putting Clementine away for the winter, Scorpio will be much easier to keep clean without all that chrome and aluminium to polish and keep the salt off! 👌
Thankyou Ian been looking forward to this video after you tipped me off last week, excellent as ever good to see Scorpio running great with the extra revs, I have never seen average speed cameras being used like that, only on road works normally, we have Anpr cameras springing up monitoring speed in villages, and speeders get reported and a warning letter from the plod drops on the door mat. We have definitely had the better times anyway Ian thinking of you and your family for tomorrow stay safe and strong, look forward to the next outing.
Thanks Glynn. The first area that I know of, which introduced average speed camera’s in a normal road, was in North Wales, between the Horseshoe pass roundabout and Corwen lights. A very popular (especially by us back in the day) route for motorcycles. Now they seem to be popping up all over 😢. Fortunately, most of the types of roads I prefer, aren’t applicable 😎. Glad you enjoyed it, look forward to more of the same 😂.
I enjoyed that ride our ian. Not as much a you did no doubt . Pure tonic for you and well received by us. Our thoughts are with you a your family for tomorrow ( Tues) , Take care and ride safe, until the next time , Bfn Mike Sunny Wales
That was a nice little chuckle at the start of the video, Ian, when you tweaked the throttle! 😁 I hope that today wasn't too hard for you, your mum and your family.
Nice one Ian and it looks like Scorpio has a sting in the tail good power for the overtakes no slouch by any means great ride and that road apart from the obvious lack of maintenance looks to be a good ride a tonic for you and pretty damned good for me to well done take care and I hope all goes well for you and your mum too or as well as these things can be 👌👍cheers !!
Thanks Mal. The Guerrilla is very un-Royal Enfield……😈. We all just need to make sure mum is ok after tomorrow, so plan to return home on Saturday/Sunday, but we will see.
I think that balloon was the same one me and my daughter were on a few years back it landed just outside Kirkby Lonsdale, a very enjoyable experience indeed but not as fast as the guerrilla that's for sure.
It was red Ian, that’s about all I can say 😂. We usually see a few where we are, but honestly haven’t seen any this year. The Guerrilla just gets better and better with miles. 😎 Cheers
Morning Ian, definitely looks like Scorpio’s a lot more lively with the extra couple of thousand revs 😂 your going to have a lot of fun when the roads are dry 😂 all the best buddy 👍
Dont worry about being away for your dad's funeral; you'll be back soon enough. I always get the strong urge to disconnect electric vehicles that are wasting valuable mains electricity. Glad you like the Garmin, way to go fella. Brilliant ride Ian; nice one. Mind hosw you go
Afternoon Ian, as you can see I'm behind with videos too, still got at least another couple of months of non-stop editing before I finish the Cornwall trip. Your hooligan is taking over, I'm getting worried about what happens when Scorpio is fully run in 😈 I think you need to take a ride on Clementine as soon as possible 😄 I too prefer a satnav with a proper map, and even with that I still regularly miss turns 🙄, as you said, too busy enjoying the ride 😁
Thanks Mick, good to hear from you…..really unsure whether Clementine will get a run out now, prior to going into hibernation, as the roads here have been gritted, and she hasn’t been prepared for winter riding. I can’t wait until Scorpio has been fully run in, but having to change up at 6k revs isn’t an issue 😎. Hopefully things here will start to get back to normal soon, but we are still travelling up and down the country on a regular basis, helping mum to sort things out. That said, we are all over the place in December, busy busy 😂. I really do need to catch up on your epic trip though, god knows how far behind I am now. As for the sat nav, love the Garmin, easy to read. Cheers
@ianhughesroyalenfield You'll have plenty of time to catch up when things settle down a bit and the nights are long. Just get out and enjoy the riding whenever you can 👍
The wind noise is that bad I can hear your lovely engine and voice very clearly 👍. I’m buying a thunder box they look very good but I’m still not confident to connect accessories up and I wish I could as the dealer is going to charge me a lot?
Honestly Donna, the Thunderbox is a doddle to fit. Plenty of RUclips vids on the subject, just disconnect the negative first, and when refitting, fit the negative last. Scorpio does sound well, though never sure about my voice 😂 Thank you.
So Ian, are you still enjoying the beast?? It wasn't quite clear from the video ..... 🤣🤣😂😂😁😁 You're absolutely right, a higher capacity bike would give you little or no real advantage on those roads ...... and what brilliant roads they are, albeit a bit bumpy in places 👍I think I'll be heading out on mine in an hour or so, gonna make the most of this upcoming sunny and dry spell for a few days. Hope that the funeral is a thoughtful but celebratory gathering for your dad. Catch up soon, Phil (Somerset)
Morning Phil, did you like the giggles at the end ? I really needed that ride after the events of the last few weeks. Definitely blew the cobwebs away. Have fun, but stay safe, there seems to be an increase of blind b’stads out there at the moment 🙄😂
@@ianhughesroyalenfield Oh yes, you can't beat a good whipping followed by a fit of the giggles and a wonky wheel thrown in for good measure ..... just what the doctor ordered 🤣And yes, the number of blind b'stads on the roads doesn't seem to be declining and when it comes to quite a few of the cycling fraternity, well, don't get me started ....... 😁 Phil 😊
I've watched a lot of videos on the Guerrilla with stats and figured etc. But your repeated comment "it's bloody brilliant this bike" sums it up. By the way, I've now got a delivery date for mine of mid December now. I should have gone for a different colour maybe.
Hi Robert, I can’t believe how un-Royal Enfield the Guerrilla is……many won’t like this massive step in modernity, but I approve 😎 Shame you have to wait so long 😢
There are many reviews giving specifications on RUclips. I did a walk round before the demo bike became available ruclips.net/video/JkaFxdZ73Tk/видео.htmlsi=NNOuiKwENGgPp3qo then a ride review ruclips.net/video/6ycidVHmevQ/видео.htmlsi=xwY_Ak54-K9s9Mot though I am not one for specs, I do give the true emotions of riding the bike.

@@ianhughesroyalenfieldThat's bloody amazing ! In the past I've never considered fuel economy on a bike but now that I'm riding more I would be foolish not to make it a consideration. I've simple got to get a guerilla 👍
Hello, I received a Beeline II recently and find that I am still using my iPhone! I like how you pass everyone and complain about it! Doesn't that red key tag flipping around drive you nuts? Need something heavier😮.
Morning Ian, enjoyed the video, I can see you are really enjoying having those extra 2000 revs to play with 😂. The Garmin seems to be working fine, I used a Garmin when I was a lorry driver, never let me down. Hope your mum and yourself and the rest of the family are ok, it seems a bit flimsy saying hope you are ok, but hopefully you know what I mean. See you on the next video 👍
When the original Beeline was released, I thought it was a gimmick……but with the Moto 2, obviously thought I would give it a go, sadly not for me. As for moaning about other road users, I don’t like anyone impeding my progress 😂. I need to get into the habit of popping the red fob under the handlebars. Fitting the Garmin must have created a vortex (if that’s the right word) causing it to flap like it did. I rectify that when I stop for a photo, much better. Cheers
@malcolmtaylor3231 thank you, very kind. We have used Garmin for a number of years, still use the “Camper” in the van, great that you can set the size of the rig when towing Zebedee !
