    I think that they're the best (sparring) muay thai gloves for very small hands like mine.

  • @tzahi12370

    I had the same gloves different colours (super star air model) in 16 oz the first month or so of training with them (the breaking in period) was painfull as hell on the thumb it was pinching my thumb on the inside of the palm where the piece of strong leather is... but after a while the gloves stretched enough, i opened and closed the gloves alot to make it more comfortable and easier to open ..and after all that they were one of the most comfortable gloves I've used . And these gloves last a long time.. the Thai gloves are top quality! I gave them to a friend of mine as a gift after a 2 years of use because i just received my sabas gloves in that time and wanted to change gloves but they were still very good as new.overall I think top king is very good for sparring because all of the padding it has..like pillows.

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  5 лет назад +2

      Yeah I agree with you on the break in period, a lot of gloves made in Thailand are similar, just because the nature of the materials they use. The leather is nice high quality and thick, however, theres a small trade off for initial comfort because it takes a while to soften them up. Just one of those things you have to consider when purchasing such gloves.

      @@csquaredboxing exactly!! same with raja and fairtex and twins also needs break in period until it becomes comfortable..but in some gloves as you already know its more quickly..like the bgv9 fairtex was comfortable after like one hard heavy bag session... sabas were the only gloves out of the box that was so comfortable right away. i didn't try winning gloves so i imagine they're also very comfortable as people say

  • @johndang8971
    @johndang8971 2 года назад +4

    The 10oz version is the best training glove I've ever used. Absolutely solid support hitting the bag and mitts. Very high quality and forms right to my fist. I like them better than more popular brands like fairtex, hayabusa, and yokkao. I would still stick with fairtex 16 oz for sparring however

      @@Airbender24B the fairtex glove are "softer" and allow my fingers to open up more to allow for catching kicks during sparring. The softer padding means I don't hurt my sparring partners

    How does this compared to the Decha one you previously reviewed in terms of inner hand compartment (snug wise) and breathabilty. Also which is better for purely bag work?

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  5 лет назад +1

      As far as inner hand compartment goes these are a little snugger than the Decha by just a tad. On the bag the Decha are more protective where the top king gives better feedback. So just depends on what you prefer.

    Should I get the top king super air or the ring to cage c17? I’m looking to get a new glove but can’t decide. I heard the top king is tighter while the ring to age Velcro get very fuzzy and non sticking really quick. Also, just wanted to know if both of these gloves I’ve listed have a grip bar. Lastly would you recommend the top king double lock gloves? Thank you, your advice is greatly appreciated.

    Are there any differences between boxing and muay Thai gloves?

    • @csquaredboxing
      @csquaredboxing  5 лет назад +4

      Yes, Muay Thai gloves tend to have a shorter cuff for clinching and more padding on the palm side of the gloves to parry kicks knees/ elbows.

    • @wodie5529
      @wodie5529 5 лет назад

      Thank you. That makes well sense.
      Edit: i bought the Top King gloves though recently and I think I like them. Had the first training today with them. Feels very different to my old gloves, which were made by KING. They had much more space for sure.
      I only go to boxing, but I think for my level it doesnt make much difference if I wear muay thai or boxing gloves. I just wanna get fitter.
