Original Star Trek fan here, I always liked Dr McCoys’ exclamations at Capt Kirk when he’d expect him to perform some sort of medical miracle. “Dammit Jim, I’m a Doctor, not a Bricklayer!” They used that phrase a few times in the series replacing “bricklayer” for another profession.
I'm not much of a movie quote person but here are some of my favorite space inspired quotes: "for my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream" Vincent van Gogh, "I just need some space", "I a huge fan of space, both outer and personal", and finally, "Space is made of protons, neutrons, electrons and morons"
For some reason "All who wonder are not lost" came to me when I saw this tumbler. Maybe because it reminds me of Northern lights or a Galaxy. Free spirit and all that.
How did I not know about deep space. I’m a glitter chimp girl. That cup is amazing thank you Cindy for your tutorials as always, appreciate you sharing.
It's super "galaxy" looking so anything from any of the the fandoms would work. Don't forget Firefly too though. A couple of strawberries and the word "Shiny!" Or even just the moon phases graphic I've seen a few people use. I do very much like the quote you used though.
This cup was beautiful before and then you took it outside and WOW! I think not a quote but maybe some constellations would looks really cool on there. You have inspired me to try to get some micas to attempt micahols.
I love the effect the micahols made on this one. I am going to have to try that technique. Goodness knows I have enough micas haha Quote idea "Don't tell me that the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the Moon!".
I agree, Cindy! This cup is devastatingly beautiful! It's also absolutely marvelous! I love the decal! That's my world. LOL. I do hope you had a great Christmas. Happy New Year, too! Soon!
TFS! I am a tack it fan. It can really expand creativity. I like having a no paint spray method. I live in an apartment house and have to sneak out to spray in the stairwell praying not to get caught. ( But I do live on the 27th floor😆). I have successfully done tack it on naked stainless steel. I use CCDIY Quick Coat Sealer. You have inspired me to try that black glitter you used. And the micahols are a brilliant idea! As far as decal sentiments, maybe something like a Carl Sagan (?sp) quote. "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.” I have this in my quotes collection. TU again. Hope your holidays were great!
So so pretty! I must have this glitter! I can't be of any help with the quotes from any of the movies you named. But I absolutely adore this "devastatingly beautiful" tumbler.🙂💜
Thanks very much!! I don't think so, although honestly, I've never tried. If you apply the Mod Podge, then the glitter, then wait until everything has dried, it *might* work. But it also might just brush most of the glitter off. The reason glitter stays on and lies flat with Tack-it is because that glue is still really sticky after it's dried, but Mod Podge isn't sticky after drying. If you do decide to give it a try, let me know what happens!!
Beautiful 😍 tumbler!! Love 💕 love your videos. What do you think of this resin in comparison to KS resin? I use KS and have had multiple issues on my tumblers. Could be that I was in a higher climate 🤷♀️. It would separate and fisheye, so devastating. Thank you 😊. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas 🎄
Thank you!! That's too bad about problems with the KS, but I have certainly learned that so many variables cause resin behavioral issues that one person's favorite resin causes dire problems for another person. I really do love this new resin so far. It's just a little thinner, and obviously these mica-hols behaved differently while floating around in it. But there haven't been fish-eyes for me or bubble issues. I don't think, however, that they sell a sample size. But I do know that this resin will also work fine in molds, for example, so if it turns out to not be good for you on tumblers, you can still use it for other projects and not need to feel it's a waste. Hope this helps!
In my enthusiasm to start this tumbler I used Mod Podge and not tack-it. I’ve added the holographic black. I know the tack-it method won’t work but just adding a layer of epoxy for motion will it still create something. In other words if it won’t work I need to take my losses and move on. Will the holographic show up
Yes, it will definitely be holographic when you move the cup around in the light. It just won't have the same rainbow holographic effect that a tack-it base would have. But the glitter is definitely going to sparkle in all the colors because it's holo glitter. And it will be gorgeous!!!! 🤩✨✨✨
Absolutely beautiful! I’d love to hear your thoughts about that resin. I’ve been using their regular resin.. which I like, I. Curious about the differences with their tumbler resin.
Thank you!! So far, I absolutely love it, especially this unexpected thing it did with the mica-hols! I haven't had any problems with it yet at all in any application I've tried.
I love this I would like to know how much mica to acholol you used? And what are those bottles they are in? I would love to try this as you inspired me to try something new. Thank you!
Thank you!! Here’s a link to the dropper bottles: amzn.to/3evHkF2 The mica-hols are mixed approximately 1/8 tsp mica + 7-8 ml of 99% isopropyl alcohol (91% would work fine).
I can’t wait to see some galaxy/space sayings from folks. I need to restock my arsenal of good quotes 🤔😁😁😁

Here’s a few on McCoys lines: ruclips.net/video/MULMbqQ9LJ8/видео.html
@@wtglb oh, sooo many Bones’ lines come to mind 😁

Mine would be more biblical. Gen1.8 and God called the firmament Heaven. Again.. personal not for all but some….
For some reason "All who wonder are not lost" came to me when I saw this tumbler. Maybe because it reminds me of Northern lights or a Galaxy. Free spirit and all that.
Yes, that would be an excellent saying for this tumbler!! Thank you!
One of my favorite Bob Ross quotes would be awesome on this cup. “You have to have the dark in order to see the light”
That's beautiful, and perfect for this -- thanks!!
How did I not know about deep space. I’m a glitter chimp girl. That cup is amazing thank you Cindy for your tutorials as always, appreciate you sharing.
Thanks very much! Now you know 😁✨✨
There's something "spider-webby" about the alcohol inks that I love!
Yes, there really is - it's a whole different look and I wasn't expecting it at all. 😍
OMGOOOSH THIS TURNED OUT SOOOO BEAUTIFUL DAMN GIRL YOU KNOW HOW TO SHOW OFF YOUR ARTISTIC WITH EVERYTHING YOU TOUCH ‼️❤️❤️‼️❤️‼️
Thank you very much!!! 😊

Honestly with those gorgeous glimmers of red coming through from the Holo, "In Space, No One Can Hear You Scream" would've worked perfectly.
Thank you!! Yes, can’t forget Firefly! 🥰

Thank you!!! Oooh! That would be lovely - do a Constellation series of tumblers 🥰🥰🥰
That is absolutely stunning! And the quote is perfect lol!!
Thank you!! 😊☕️🥰
Awesome! Very sparkly. I love the colors 😍 Thanks for sharing 👍😃
Thanks so much 😊
I was just thinking, “I wonder if there’s any special sauce in it?” I got my answer! The sparkle is amazing!!
Thanks very much!! It seemed unnecessary in this case - I’m not sure adding Rainbow would have made a whit of difference 🤔😁
That came out so cool looking. I'm at a loss for a quote at the moment. I'm sure I'll come up with something and come back to post it. LOL
Thank you! And that would be wonderful - I'll look forward to it 😊
I love Deep Space glitter! I made a Northern lights tumbler, I used deep space and tact it method. My daughter claimed it before it was done.
That is awesome!
So beautiful-even without rainbow ink! 😉 I haven’t seen the Deep Space glitter before but now I need to have it. Lol
Thank you!
I love the effect the micahols made on this one. I am going to have to try that technique. Goodness knows I have enough micas haha
Quote idea "Don't tell me that the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the Moon!".

Thank you!! Yes, Glitter Chimp’s ultra fine, holo glitters are amazing!! ✨✨✨
Absolutely beautiful ♥️♥️😍
Thank you!!
Love it. Mica hol is fascinating
Thank you! Yes, and it behaved quite differently on this epoxy resin than on the KS. A very happy surprise 😊
Love it the tumbler the saying all of it!
Thanks!!! 😁😁😁☕️✨
Wow that's a beautiful cup
Thank you so much!!
Looks fabulous!
Thank you!!
Love this, absolutely beautiful!

Wow!
Thank you!!
Does the epoxy you are using in this video have a strong odor? Do you need a respirator with it?
I don’t think it smells strong at all, very light, but I wear a respirator when I’m working with any resin. Just a personal choice.
How about coffee is out of this world.
That would be great (and it is!)!! Thanks!
