    Had my XLT Hybrid for over 3 months and 3800 miles now and I am loving it. Getting warmer outside and my mileage just keeps going up. Last tank of fuel was 38mpg average, mostly highway speed. I have the Soft Roll Up Tonneau Cover and I really like it, rolls up nice and close to the back window and doesn't block vision too bad. Yes they are vinyl and might wear out quicker than the Hard Roll Up but at just over $300 I could replace it a couple times for the price of the Hard Roll Up Cover.

    I have the trifoldfold and I like it, water hasn't been a problem. Went through the carwash and maybe a tiny tricky of water if that. I think you have to have it lined up right and it's good. Also got a spray in bed liner seems to be good. Truck is bomb. The original customer that ordered it did not put a plug option in the bed so I'm going to do that and going to put in a sliding window in the rear.

    Update Ordered January 2022 delivered yesterday and I picked it up today. The two options I ordered were not mostly completed. I ordered the console vault and it will be installed hopefully after dealership gets it in a few weeks. Also the 110 converter. It’s mostly there except in the bed of the truck. My wife’s Maverick XLT hybrid has spray in bed liner with hard Ford roll up. Good luck ordering that. You can’t get it. At least from the build site I used to order my neighbor her Maverick. By the way I just got her WeatherTech floor pans and AWESOME FIT.
    Just drive our Maverick 12 hours this weekend and averaged 37mpg doing 80. That is hand calculated at the pump.
    This is a great truck. Ours is Cactus Grey. Pretty sharp. I just ordered our neighbor lady one in white with the blackout package. She wanted an XLT and there was no way we could option on spray in liner or the Ford roll up tonneau.
    I must say - the Ford rollup is worth whatever I paid for it. It’s pretty awesome.
    Last thing - on Amazon I ordered a thick rubber bed mat. About $135 if I recall. I’d do that again. I always put these mats in my truck beds because it keeps stuff from sliding around. My wife loves that I like this little truck because I keep buying her stuff for it. I just bought a padded center console armrest pad. It has two little side slit pockets. Perfect. Helped on that 12 hour drive. I also bought her a customs made to fit Maverick sunscreen for the front window. Yes it fits exactly and it was only maybe $18?

    Since this is a low-cost option for me, I'm thinking soft tri-fold tonneau and a bed mat; I don't plan on keeping anything super valuable or weather-unsafe in the bed. I also don't really live in a rural area where I worry about people slashing the tonneau; I work in the city but park in a secure lot with cameras everywhere. Think I can swing it all for 400-600 USD. Would love the hard roll up and a spray-in liner, but 1600-1700 dollars altogether is A LOT.

    • @Johnnyscarcarereviews
      @Johnnyscarcarereviews  2 года назад

      Clifton I am in the same situation. I like that bed mat but prefer soft folding as I don't want to either loose a third of my bed when folded flat or the window when pulled up to the window. Soft rolling takes the least amount of space

    • @Johnnyscarcarereviews
      @Johnnyscarcarereviews  2 года назад

      A lot of November ecoboosts have been made already and based on Ford's new scheduling formula you should at least have a build date but the constraints created by microchips and exasperated by the Lux packages extreme use of them makes your build date very hard to predict. Also of you have Accessories then those are other pieces that can have the system be forced to pass over your build based on unavailability of parts when they try to assign a build date. I'd yoy remove accessories then I'd hope you would get a build date within 1 to 2 months.

    BONE-JUROR JOHNNY!! HOW ARE MARIE AND WINSTON?? YEAH JOHNNY, ITS A TOUGH DECISION TO SPRING FOR THE ROLL UP COVER, ITS OBSCENELY OVER PRICED!! BUT, AS MARIE P. SHOWED, IT IS VERY EASY TO USE, DOESN'T TAKE UP TOO MUCH BED SPACE WHEN ROLLED UP, IS PROBABLY THE LOWEST PROFILE ROLL UP COVER WHEN IT COME TO SEEING OUT THE BACK WINDOW, "ALMOST" AS WATERTIGHT AS THE HARD FOLD MODEL, AND PRETTY SECURE FOR A NON-RIDGID FOLDING COVER!! AND YEAH, I LIKE THE FORD LOGO THAT SHOWS UP WHEN YOU ROLL IT UP!! I HAVE LOOKED ONLINE, TO SEE IF THERE WERE ANY CHEAPER OPTIONS THAT MIGHT WORK AS WELL, BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY!! I'M AFFRAID YOU MIGHT HAVE TO BITE THE BULLET ON THAT, JOHNNY!! SORRY!! MAYBE ITS NOT SO OVERPRICED?? ( if only Marie hadn't looked so good, and was having such a good time rolling it!! Thank you for taking the time to share that solid reflection on the covers. Winston is good and getting better at hitting back balloons with his head or paw. I'd like to get Marie the top but not sure yet if the Maverickw I'll stay with us for 2 plus years or if the channel will need a new model Ranger and I a Bronco after fully testing and hopefully enjoying the Lightning. Thus far the Lightning would be stellar as the family cottage has no power since someone caught our wore and it pulled out our pole from the roof. The electrical off the F150 Lightning would have us fixing things up and make things liveable. In the meantime it looks like I'll be buying back the Toyota mr2 I sold in 2013 and it will need money out in so time will tell of I can afford that sweet roll up cover. We like the logo as well

My xlt hybrid lux 360 sunroof dropin liner and hard roll up is almost here.. 3 more weeks to wait..it's in transit. Order was made last summer and delivery should be the second week of may.. the maverick was not my first choice, i wanted a ioniq 5, id4, or even a tesla., but i didn't want any car payment.. i wanted to pay cash. The maverick was cheap enough for me to pay cash, stil it came up almost $43k can..which is only $5k less than the base ioniq5 when compared. Anyway too late now …I don't understand why the lariat hybrid isn't available for us canadian. Because i really wanted leather seats. If your handy everything from the bug deflector to mudflaps to bed extender are cheaper to get from Ford parts and install it yourself. And alot cheaper if you get them from the aftermarket. One guy found a bed extender fits perfectly. The Fird option is $370 while he got his on Amazon for $180. Ford sells the aeroskin hood deflector for $80 bucks but charge $120 as an option etc.

    Plastic bed liners are long lasting. They do get scratches but unless you really really abuse it, they last a long time.
    The plastic also helps to reinforce the bed and helps prevent dents. A spray in is great when it comes to scratches but it doesn't really do anything for dents.

      @@Johnnyscarcarereviews My experience so far:
      The Tri-Fold bed cover has a design flaw and no matter how tight i made/make it, it just flaps around on the highway and causes a massive vibration in the cab, the dealer was able to replicate it, and is replacing it with a roll-up free of charge, They also reported it to Ford corporate, who indicated there's a TSB on it, and that they may recall it, but it's pretty annoying that wasn't disclosed.. The Sun glass holder in the center doesn't open correctly and requires you to bend it slightly to open it. The USB-C cable was missing completely, the dash had to come apart to put one in. Guess someone forgot to install it at the assembly line. I wasn't aware of that, it was in because the dash rattled and it was annoying as all hell, the tech found out the cable was missing when he had it apart.. The other issue is the brakes, the hill assist is sloppy and doesn't always hold, the car tends to roll back on a hill and with no clutch, and the drive by wire, you can't circumvent the issue, i've tried two foot driving to bypass, but the computer won't let you do that.. I also find at times the brakes don't correctly engage between the hybrid brake and the actual brake, so you have abrupt stops on occasion. When you are trying to back a trailer somewhere it's especially annoying.. My Wife's Rav4 Hybrid doesn't have this issue. The brakes are annoying enough that it's borderline dangerous. The Horn, the Horn was missing the rubber isolater so when you beeped at someone it would resonate through the cab..
      I have an XLT with the premium package, co-pilot, tow hitch, soft tri-fold, carpet mats and rubber mats, mud flaps, spray in bedliner. Hybrid, in Alto Blue.
