I have been on this ship in April 2016. It felt awesome when this ship was travelling through the archipelago. I also saw a full moon night and the moon light reflection on peaceful Baltic sea, when entering Riga, lots of people were there in the rive bank for fishing. There is an extended land which starts from the last point of free cargo port and extends till the sea. The Riga city was awesome and we had delicious food too. It is like Russian cities with lots of open place with Russia like architecture and sculptures (at least it looked like that). Very generous people and a lots of sweet memory.
4:15 Isabelles livery appears to be inspired by the latvian flag... Kinda cool actually, but The truth is Tallink was just too lazy to totally repaint the ship when they bought it so they left the old Viking Line red livery on her, until a few months ago when they repainted her white with black stripes around the windows. It was the same when Silja Festival moved to Tallink Stockholm-Riga from Silja. They repainted the funnell white, put the tallink logo on it and text. And left the blue Silja stripes on her.
Glad to see she is not being retired yet. Enjoyed reliving trip we made two years ago, nice ship. Also liked your other Baltic trips. Would like to see some "ice" winter versions !

The shipping company is Tallink-Latvia Line, a doughter company to Tallink-Silja Line, btw they don't go from Frihamnen no more, all Tallink-Siljas ferries now going from Värtahamnen in Stockholm.
Stockholm-Riga trip was fun when I was on one couple of years ago. Though it was not Isabelle, but Romantika. I live in Finland so it was more intresting experience. Most finns probably haven't been on Stockholm-Riga ferries...
And thanks for the video! Next time you should also try M/S Romantika ship. It`s newer and more more spacious. Yet, fares for trips on that one are slightly higher.
